I was born and raised in Ontario, Canada and moved to Alberta after College & University. Once in Alberta, I met my husband, and we have been married ever since. We have 3 beautiful boys who add joy/pain/anxiety to every day. Somedays I think that I was crazy to wait until I was older to have children (late 30's when 1st was born) because I'm exhausted almost always. I do think that having children is a young girls game; but I wouldn't trade a moment of it.

I have been watching the Y&R since I was in grade 3. My Grandmother used to have to watch "her stories". These included Y&R, Doctors(?), The Edge of Night, and her all time favourite, Another World. She was ill with diabetes and it was one of the only pleasures she had left. Her leg had been amputated and she had cataracts on both eyes. So, we would listen together and I would describe the looks on people's faces, etc.

After she passed, I just kept watching. I have vague recollections of Lance & Lucas' mother in the veil. I remember when Mr. Brooke's fell for Elizabeth Foster. Those are my earliest show related memories.

My husband is now very aware of the Y&R. He calls Victor 'Mumbles'. He makes me laugh when he gets would up about one storyline or another.

I don't typically belong to these sites, but I have found this site to be welcoming, sharing, insightful, friendly, openminded, compassionate, and warm. I spend the majority of my time working, taking somebody to hockey practice, and sitting in music lessons. This is my indulgence.
