I THINK NIKKI IS ONE OF THE MOST SILLY STUPID PEOPLE ON THE SHOW,,ALL SHE CARES ABOUT IS DISAGREEING WITH VICTOR.HOW COULD ANYONE SAY I DONT CARE IF MY DAUGHTER DIES BECAUSE SHE PROBABLY WILL ANYWAY? THERE SHOULD BE NO CHOICE IN THE MATTER OF SAVING VICTORIAS LIFE AS FAR AS I'M CONCERNED.AS VICTOR SAID SHE CAN ALWAYS HAVE MORE CHILDREN.WHAT IS WRONG WITH THIS WOMAN????

Good Grief lol. What great posts I am not sure I can add anything to any of this. I agree with everyone. haha My best friends sister had a baby in 1969 and she was so premature they gave her no hope of living. Today you would never know they gave her that kind of prognosis all those years ago. This was in Phoenix and they had a wonderful newborn/infants intensive care unit. One of the first in the US as I remember. Anyway babies can survive. Some have other issues and don't survive so it can go either way. Victoria is not in a coma from pre-eclampsia she is in a coma from the blow to her head. This condition developed while she was in the hospital. So she's not in a coma from this pre-eclampsia. I do think Nicki is doing what she thinks Victoria would want as any Mother probably would but as a Mother she is now faced with the same decision as Victoria. Saving her own daughter or saving her grandchild. For me if it was either or I'd save my daughter. I know I would even though I would be so torn I'd never be able to look in the mirror again. It is a great storyline. It makes all of us look at ourselves and our decision making skills which mine would be bad if I was Nicki at this point. Or Victor. I look at my grandchildren and think what if that was one of them. Would I have been able to end their life? It's a tough decision and I am glad I am not having to make the decision. I do believe it's being portrayed as it would happen however. I will give the writers kudos for that. I don't want to think that Victor is making his decision based on his guilt. I think he truly loves Victoria, she is Daddy's girl for sure, and honestly if it came right down to it, I'd have to save my daughter that I had known and loved all these years and just hope that there would be other children in her future. It's all so very sad and probably happens everyday in real life. I think it's a good story.
