Why haven't we ever heard anything about this ice cream night at the Winter's house before? That is like so many other things that have just been pulled out of a hat on Y&R, with no logic or explanation that the writers on GL or ATWT didn't do, when I used to watch them. Examples: When Sharon started on the show she & her mother were poor as church mice. They didn't have 2 nickels to rub together. Never once did we see her with, or hear anything about her having a car. But when Matt was shot, then suddenly Sharon had a car to go meet Nick. When Chris & Paul were getting married Keemo brought her a hand carved picture frame as a wedding gift and said he used to make them as gifts in Vietnam. But Keemo was an outcast and lived in the jungle, so who did he make them for, the monkeys? We never saw a computer in Crimson Lights until they brought Kevin on the show. And the Collonade Room that was sooo expensive to reserve it & was used for very special occassions & now I hear Cassies Korner is gone. What is going on? They used it to introduce Devon, and to find the earring that belonged to Nikki when she was a little girl and solve a murder mystery. Yes, every so often my husband asks what has happened to the Colonnade room too. I guess the last storm knocked it down. When I watched the past week's shows today I tried to see if Cassie's picture was somewhere in the back part of Crimson Lights, but they never showed anything but the back wall. And no pic there. I guess she is gone for good now. ;-( Last summer ('96) we were introduced to the pool area of the Athletic Club. Almost everyday several members were having lunch there. But we didn't see it at all this summer. At least not that I recall... And I just remembered another strange thing the writers pulled out of a hat. In 1997 Nikki married Josh Landers and all of a sudden they had an upstairs maid, and talked about her like she'd always been there. I hate these memory lapses (getting there) Wasn't Victor trying to get Nikki back then? They haven't been showing Crimson Lites as much lately as before , wonder what that means? That used to be where everyone in the cast stopped for coffee and or muffins, everyday. Except maybe Mrs. C. and Ester. Maybe cuz they don't have a story line going happening at CL. Like Nick & Sharon buying the place and working there; Kevin chatting with underage girls; Korbel & Colleen meeting there so not to look like they were involved; Kevin & Jana hooking up; Carmen being murdered there. I don't know what the reason is. Maybe like the Colonnade Room, it'll just fade out site...? When you have writers who don't know the shows history, what can we expect? She hasn't really tried to make them feel comfortable with the relationship. she is pretty aggressive for a Y&R character. I'm like everyone else with these special nights the Winter's have suddenly invented. I also wonder why they keep a place like Gina's for so long and the Collonade Room then they disappear forever. I know Gina's burned down, but couldn't they have built a new improved Gina's, instead of this athletic club. When they get a new group of teens on the show they have to find a place for thrm to hang out. Maybe it will be Crimson Lights or some other place. It seems to uppy for young kids to hang out, they have the coffee house ran by Kevin, which I'm sure will also disappear soon. About Victoria, I read where she dies and I do NOT WANT THAT TO HAPPEN. Her and JT have finally found happiness. If she dies, I'm sure the baby will live and that will bring a hole lot of drama between JT and Brad, in which Collen will get caught in the middle. Josh's wife shot him and then Nikki and they thought Nikki was going to die. So Diane & Victor divorced so Victor could marry Nikki on her death bed. And he promised Diane they'd be married after Nickki died, but when she recovered Victor stayed with Nikki and said bye bye to Diane.
