The young Ana Hamilton came to Genoa City in the summer of 2008 with her mother, Tyra, and surprised her cousin Devon by her incredible singing talent. Tyra surprised Neil when she confessed that Ana was in fact her sister's daughter and Devon's sister. She then applied for her to get in a private school in New Hampshire but it backfired when Ana intercepted the call and found out that Yolanda was her biological mother. After Yolanda filed a missing child's report, the police came and took Ana away from Tyra. Neil and Karen took Ana in as foster parents and are currently trying to adopt her.
