I always thought the writers cheated Miguel. He appears to have a good heart but does nothing more than the bidding of the Newmans -- and lately you hear his name but never see him. The writers get so wrapped up in the "rich and famous" characters they forget that the majority of the people watching the show are just ordinary every-day working people. Granted, many want to see the "rich and famous" characters and the complexities of their lives, but the lives of those characters are more often than not so bewildering -- it would be nice to see someone who is good, stable, sincere, and wholesome.
