Young and Restless character history:
Chloe Mitchell was hired by Jabot Cosmetics to help coach the winning model of the Fresh Face of Jabot contest. After Lily Winters won the competition, Chloe began working with her, attending photo shoots and interviews with her. From day one she was constantly on Lily to look her best and watch her figure. Lily's boyfriend and Chloe's boss, Cane Ashby had been very clear for Chloe not to stress Lily out too much with modeling, which she failed to do causing Lily to become exhausted and failing with her schoolwork.

When Chloe's apartment was flooded, Lily helped out Chloe by letting her stay at her and Devon's place, even though they were both frustrated by Chloe's eccentric behavior. Chloe got drunk after moving in and kissed Cane when they were alone, but they both agreed to keep the kiss a secret. To cover her affection for Cane, Chloe kissed Devon, pretending to be interested in him, but her actions were revealed to Lily, who then asked Chloe to move out of the apartment.

Chloe learned that she was pregant, so Chloe tricked Cane into thinking that he was the father, damaging Cane and Lily's plans to wed. Cane was extremely drunk, and Chloe was sober, feigning intoxication. Shortly after, she was hired by Jack, Sharon, Nick and Phyllis to work as Restless Styles' Fashion Editor, due to her great experience. Chloe went to Lily's house and shows her a sonogram of the baby; needless to say, Lily believed that Chloe was completely insane and that the baby was not Cane's. In order to get Chloe to finally leave Lily and Cane alone, Lily asked her to take a DNA test to prove that the baby is Cane's. In the event, Cane found out that he is in the match group as the baby's father when the DNA results came out, at which point Lily walked out on him, much to Chloe's pleasure.

Lily told Cane to marry Chole for the baby's sake and he is currently married to Chloe who in a shocking turn of events was revealed as Esther Valentine's lost daughter Kate.
