Colleen Carlton is the fiesty daughter of the late Brad Carlton and Traci Abbott Connolly. Colleen came to town in 2001 after being expelled from school for marijuana use. Around this time, Colleen met her first love...J.T. Hellstrom. The two shared a long and passionate relationship, despite everyone else's disapproval. Their love ended when Colleen took an interest in her college professor, Adrian Korbel. Colleen and J.T. broke up and she began a relationship with Adrian, again going against her parents' better judgement. Once Korbel tried to get his book published that would damage the reputation of her father, Colleen and Adrian broke up, and Brad put an end to Korbel's book. Recently, Colleen lost her father in a terrible accident. Brad died while saving Noah Newman's life. With the coaching of her uncle Jack Abbott, Colleen decided to step in and take her father's seat on the Newman Board of Directors...thus angering the great Victor Newman.
