Young and Restless character history: Cordelia is the daughter of Billy and Chloe Abbott. Delia was thought to be the daughter of Billy's half brother Cane Ashby after Chloe tricked him. She was born in a snow storm at the Abbott Cabin when Chloe went there to find out what was going on between Billy and Lily. Chloe was later brought to the hospital where Cane named Cordelia. After Chloe told Cane the truth about Cordelia, Cane filed for full custody of Delia. Cane later dropped the custody case because he thought it was the right thing to do. Billy and Chloe are now getting divorced because Billy had an affair with his thought to be cousin and ex-wife, Mackenzie Browning. Billy refused to sign the divorce papers but then did. Chloe and billy have shared custody of Cordelia.
