Amber confides to Jana that she has a past with this Deacon person and he could be the one that broke into their apartment and stole the Terroni forgery to get to her. Jana tells Amber she has to tell Daniel but Amber says she never wants Daniel to find out about her past. She tells her about drugs and a baby that she claimed was her but it wasn't and then she tells Jana that she has to do something because Deacon is meeting with Victoria. This was after Jana suggested they have Victoria take a look at the picture of the Terroni picture Amber found at the office her and Daniel went to. Maybe she could tell if it was the fake or the real one. Daniel finally gets the flash drive open he found at the office, and he ends up going to find Victoria and she is already with Deacon. Daniel asks her if he could talk to her privately about the fake painting and she tells Daniel he can show it in front of Deacon. Amber comes in and see Deacon and tries to get out of there. But Daniel stops her and he introduces her to Deacon who sticks out his hand and tells her it's nice to meet her. She looks like she might faint. Daniel wants to know if she's OK and she says she kind of dizzy. Deacon has already revealed to Victoria that he knows about Victoria, the Feds and her buying the fake painting. Deacon tells her not to feel bad that he paid $250,000 for the fake and Victoria said the price came down I only paid $100,000. Deacon says he hates to see that frame on the wall empty and he was buying it to put it in the gallery and Victoria tells him that was her intent also.
Heather has stopped by the ranch and Adam tells her they have the place to themselves. Heather at first fools around with Adam but then decides it not a good idea that Victor catch her naked in his house again. And she has work to do. Adam needs Heather everytime he is with Rafe it seems. They are unaware that Mary Jane is watching them through the window at the ranch. Her and her dead kitty that she is now carrying around in a cat carrier.
Phyllis finds out from Nikki and Nick that Mary Jane had a restraining order put against Paul and said he was stalking her. Nick says she seems to have trouble with the truth and is pretty high strung. Phyllis finally agrees that Mary Jane has to be behind her situation with Summer. She decides to find ou more about who Mary Jane really is. Paul tells them he was going to do that and he's talked to Victor and he wants to handle this. Figures says Nikki he always has to be in control. Nikki has no idea that Mary Jane is Victor's creation. You should have seen the look on his face when Paul told him they thought Mary Jane was behind Phyllis being kept away from Summer.
Adam looks out the window and he thinks he sees someone in the yard. Mary Jane hides behind some bales of hay and Adam takes off after her and and stops at the perfect spot and asks her if she's OK. They have a chat about Victor and he tells her he's Victor's son and Adam adds not that he's proud of it and Mary Jane says she understands. Adam says they should work together. He invites her inside and tells her nobody is home. And there isn't but there is a knock at the door and Mary Jane goes and hides. It's security telling Adam they have had a security breach and to keep his doors locked. Mary Jane seems to trust Adam and says she can use a friend.
Nick, Phyllis and Nikki search Mary Jane's room. Now the maid has found Victor's wallet but she don't offer it up. Nick gives her some money after she tells him what a lousy tipper Mary Jane was. Then he asks if she minds if they look around. They find a picture of Summer under the couch. Nick is livid of course.
While Nick, Phyllis and Nikki are talking to Heather about Mary Jane Heather finally realizes that Phyllis is right about Mary Jane. About this time Summer hollers out Mommy, Mommy. Phyllis begs Heather to let her go in and finally she says go ahead I'm dropping the charges. Doesn't take more than that for Phyllis and Nick to get in that room with Summer. Heather shows one of her more human moments. She almost cries as she watches Phyllis take off.
Adam tells Mary he will provide her a place to stay on the ranch and he will bring her anything that she needs. Looks like Mary Jane made herself a friend. Oh boy.....stay tuned.
