Paul tells Nina he discovered that Violet Montgomery, the woman Katherine supposedly traded babies with, wasn’t even in Genoa City at the time of the baby switch. She was in the hospital in Arizona with pneumonia. So Cane’s story has to be a lie. Mary Jane hears Paul and runs out of the coffee house. Lily is lifting a box and Cane takes it from her since she might be pregnant he says. Lily tells Cane she has a Seminar to go to and as she’s leaving she tells Cane that Nina had called about 4 times having more questions for him. Cane isn’t happy about Nina for sure. He finally appeals to Katherine who tells him he will always be her grandson regardless of blood and that she will talk to Nina. Cane seems grateful for that. Nina comes to see Katherine and saw Cane leave which she mentions to Katherine. Katherine tells her to back off Cane. Nina tells Katherine that Cane is lying about his past and this is no longer about her, Jill and Cane it’s involves Nina and her son too. Katherine tells Nina that Cane hasn’t lied about anything. That he’s simply repeated what he’s been told over the years. Nina says she doesn’t care what he was told or what he told Katherine there was no way in hell she was letting it go.
Neal is fitting right in at Chancellor and he tells Katherine that Jill would make a great R & D person. About that time Jill walks in and says as long as her contract states she doesn’t have to associate with Katherine that would be fine. Then Katherine goes off about Jill wanting to sell her half of the estate to some low-life creature that would move in. She offers to buy Jill out in cash since she knows she has financial loses over the bank in the Cayman’s. Jill says that’s not true and she’s fine and no deal Katherine. You can forget that she tells her I’m not going anywhere.
Mary Jane passes Victor in the hallway at the GCAC and tells him she hasn’t had the restraining order lifted off Paul yet. But she will. Victor knocks on Nicks door and Victor tells Nick he must have found out he’s the Father of Sharon’s baby since he’s there. Nick says not for about a week yet. But it doesn’t matter him and Sharon belong together, baby or not. Victor tells Nick less than 24 hours ago he was with Phyllis and the baby and he just wonders if he’s thought this through. Nick says he knows it’s been hard on Noah and that’s why him and Sharon are buying a house by the lake so they can all be together and he’d never ask Phyllis to give up the only home that Summer has ever known. Victor tells him this just doesn’t effect them it effects lots of people. He wants Nick to look at it from all angles. Victor tells him it really hurts little kids certainly he must remember the pain. Then Nick wants to know if he regrets being with Ashley and Victor says no and that’s a different situation. Remember his Mother left him he didn’t leave her. For that what’s his name. Nick reminds him by saying David Chow. Nick asks Victor if he has something against Sharon and he says no he’s always liked Sharon but that wasn’t the point. The point is it’s not just about you grown ups the kids are effected too says Victor. I just hope you have thought this through says Victor and it’s not for nostalgia purposes that you and Sharon are together. Nick assures Victor that is not what it is. Him and Sharon belong together. He wouldn’t let himself see that before but now that’s all he can see. Victor looks defeated. But says no more.
Adam is coming down the stairway and he hears Ashley and Olivia talking about Dr. Taylor and the baby and Ashley says she and says they are going to name her Hope if it’s a girl. Will have to have a do over if it’s a boy. She lets Olivia feel the baby move and Ashley looks more pregnant today. Adam flashes back to Dr. Taylor telling him that Ashley could have a hysterical pregnancy and the mind would supports the delusion. Olivia leaves and says she’s happy she has Dr. Taylor and if she can’t reach him she is always available.
Estella comes in and calls out is anyone home. She is carrying a box of papers in a cardboard storage box. She turns and looks at Sabrina’s picture. What the hell are you doing her demands Ashley who has come up behind her. Rafe steps around the corner and says he brought her with him he came to visit Adam. They have brought this box of papers Victor might need now in case something happens since they are having a baby. Nothing is going to happen to my baby states Ashley. Estella says so you are feeling fine. Ashley says she was feeling good until Estella got there. Estella says lets go. Rafe says my Aunt has done nothing if you would just listen to her. Ashley says she has nothing to say that she wants to hear. Rafe says after all she’s done for you and Victor you blame her. I never did anything to you. Rafe says he’s Aunt isn’t capable of that kind of cruelty. Just listen to her says Rafe and then if you see she is innocent will you do the right thing and ask her back? Estella says it’s no use Rafe. Rafe stands his ground and says after all her years of service she deserves to be heard. Rafe says lets go this time. Ashley weakens and says go ahead and say what you have to say. Estella pleads her case. She touches Ashley and Ashley tells her not to touch her. I would never hurt you says Estella. Ashley says she don’t believe that. Well believe this says Rafe. He holds up an envelope. What is that asks Ashley? My Aunt is not a liar says Rafe. Adam walks in and says what’s going on. Heather is right behind him. Rafe says his Aunt is trying to set the record straight. Rafe tells Ashley that someone is playing a sadistic tricks to make you doubt yourself and everyone around you. Adam says that Estella is the only one that Ashley doubts. Rafe says his Aunt has taken a polygraph and here are the results. Ashley says snidely I thought you were here to drop off Victor’s papers. Just take a look at it says Rafe. Let me have it says Adam. My Aunt passed the test with flying colors says Rafe. Look at it and we can be done with this craziness. Heather asks Adam if he wants her to take a look (he is supposed to be blind) but he says no and Rafe and Estella need to leave. As Rafe and Estella are leaving Estella asks Adam to make sure that Mr. Newman gets the box they left for them. I will says Adam now…I’m not changing my mind. Rafe tells Adam someone set up my Aunt and I won’t rest until I find out who it was. Alright says Adam who is getting annoyed. Heather gets a phone call and she says you are kidding me did she say why? She tells Adam she has to go. Adam asks Ashley if she’s OK. Ashley tells Adam she thinks she’s made a horrible mistake. Accusing Estella after all the years she’s been there why would she do such a thing. It’s about this time that Victor walks in and says Ashley and she runs to him and hugs him. Victor looks at Adam like what happened. Later her and Victor discuss the situation with Estella briefly when Ashley and Victor hear a voice and Ashley says that’s the voice I heard she tells Victor who runs up the stairs quickly to find where the voice is coming from…..He runs upstairs where Adam is having a flashback of what happened to Ashley and her baby and then he nods off for a second and his computer falls off his lap and it keeps talking the Sabrina voice which is what Victor and Ashley heard. Adam tries hard to get it to shut off he tries everything but not before Victor shows up and asks him what the hell are you doing here?….Adam is busted by Victor… Now earlier Heather had stopped by Adam’s room. She too ask him if he was alone she thought she heard a woman’s voice. Adam had told her it was his Braille tutor. Adam says he knows it’s a drag for her coming there to see him and she says at least Victor allows it. Adam says it’s not as good as having their own place. Adam immediately mentions his piece of jewelry and Heather reminds him that Victor would never allow him to have his own place and lose the jewelry. Adam tells her he knows she’s there to break up with him. Heather says she’s not. He says well then why won’t you talk to the Judge. She says she guesses she could after Adam brow beats her into it. Loopholes says Adam that is what you are best at is finding loopholes. So by that flattery and the whole tone of the conversation Heather falls for Adam’s con one more time. But will Victor now that he’s been busted with the recording of Sabrina’s voice playing so loudly right in front of him and Victor?
Jill meets with the guy trying to find her a position in the work world and she’s not very happy when he tells her that the market is tight and since she’s been in the headlines she’s hard if not impossible to place. Jill makes her usual vile threats and tells him how wonderful she is and threatens to do her own search. She storms out and says you’ll understand if I don’t pick up the tab. Next we see Jill enter a nail shop. The lady says you aren’t from this part of town. Soon we see the same lady tell her client she’s going to love this new girl she’s from uptown. A woman in a white smock is seen sitting down in front of the client and then it shows the face. It’s Jill who says pick your color. Jill has gone back to doing nails? Wow now that is almost sad if she wasn’t so hateful to everyone.
Devon is supposed to meet Neil to shoot hoops but Tyra shows up first and Devon wants to know why she’s there. She tells him that Neil invited her to come and watch and they could go and have breakfast afterwards. Well tell Neil I lost my appetite and that way you can have him all to yourself. Tyra wants to know why Devon won’t talk to her. Is it the fact I broke up Neil’s marriage or I lied to you about who I am. You didn’t trust me says Devon. Tyra tells him she was looking out for him she was trying to protect him but Devon doesn’t seem to buy it. Later Tyra is at the GCAC bar having coffee when Neil comes over and asks her if she is waiting on him to whip Devon’s butt and she cries to him and says why should I when he’s already whipped mine and then she whines about her conversation with Devon and how he’s never going to forgive her. They have a little chat and she says she doesn’t think they should see each other anymore. She’s such a con artist and Neil takes the bait. She goes on to tell Neil she cost him his marriage and she won’t be responsible for costing him his son too. Neil of course says his marriage was not her fault. But I lied to Devon and he won’t forgive me says Tyra and he hates me. Neil assures Tyra that she misses Devon and Devon misses her even more. Later Devon is playing basketball and he looks over and sees Tyra again. This time she is more suggestively posed at the entrance to the basketball courts. Devon shakes it off. Suddenly Roxanne shows up and asks if he wants to play a little one on one. Devon says he’s glad to see her as he glances over to where Tyra was in his mind. He asks her what she is doing there and she says she thought when him and Neil were done playing they could go and have a bite. Devon seems a bit not like himself but says that’s a great idea and he kisses her but when he opens his eyes it’s Tyra’s face he sees up close and personal. Roxanne notices that he’s uncomfortable and asks him what’s wrong. Nothing wrong Devon assures her. He’s glad she came by. But what is this fantasy about Tyra stuff?
Lily meets with Olivia at the coffee house and tells her the home test was right she’s not pregnant. She’s disappointed because she knows how much Cane is pushing for a family now that he’s lost Delia. She thought she’d have good news for Cane. Olivia tells her, her pap test was irregular and she will need to do further tests but wanted to tell her in person. Olivia points out all the family that Cane already has and Lily says to be honest I think he’d just as soon forget he had any other family. Olivia doesn’t says anything just looks as though why would Lily says such a thing. Lily goes back to the bar where Cane is and he says this is a nice surprise must have been a short seminar. Lily confesses there was no seminar . She finds a very sympathetic Canr when she tells him she’s not pregnant and she feels like she let him down since she knows how much he wanted a family. Cane says they are young and have plenty of time to have a baby. He teases her and says the good thing about her not being pregnant is that they get to keep trying. What Lily doesn’t tell Cane is about her abnormal pap smear. She keeps that to herself. She says Olivia met her as she knew she’d be disappointed but she doesn’t share the bad news with Cane.
Heather tells Paul this is his lucky day. He quips something about a lottery ticket. Heather tells him Mary Jane dropped the restraining order against him. Paul wonders why the sudden turn around and Heather says just be glad she did and be happy you are off the hook and you steer clear of her. Heather asks Paul if he’s listening and he says yes, steer clear of her, I got it. Meantime Mary Jane is talking to Kitty again. She asks Kitty if he thinks they’ve seen the last of him. There is a knock at the door and she stuffs Kitty away again. It’s Paul he shouts why didn’t you tell me and they embrace and she says I wanted to. It was so hard to keep a secret especially to someone I was once so close to. I didn’t know what to think the whole thing was a shock to me says Paul. Paul you can’t tell anyone Mary Jane says. You could ruin everything she adds. I know the kind of life you had, I really do says Paul. The last thing I want for you is heartache says Paul. Then the mood changes and so does Paul’s location he’s now behind her shouting, How long did you think you could fool me that’s what I want to know. You can’t tell anyone Paul. Paul tells her that she has to come clean or he sure will. And Mary Jane tells him to stop ordering her around she used to hate it when he did that to her. Then Mary Jane is still sitting in the chair with Kitty leaving me not knowing if she really had a knock at the door or this conversation with Paul at all. Perhaps she’s finally been pushed over the edge as there is no Paul. Just her and Kitty and the chair….Then she stuffs Kitty away again and she grabs her purse and out of the apartment she goes. Just then Nick is walking by. She tells Nick she hears congratulations are in order that he’s reunited with his first love. Mary Jane tells him she remembers her first love well, she’s never forgot him and she never will. Nick doesn’t say anything but he sort of waits for her to get gone and has this unsure look on his face. Like is she nuts or what?

Victor to Adam, if you are the one that hurt Ashley, God help you. (I’m not sure what Victor really says.
