Against Daniel’s wishes Amber calls the cops about their apartment being tossed. Amber is home alone and fearful one of the internet nuts is after her and will hurt her or Daniel or both. Det. Wallace has little sympathy for her.
Meantime at the coffee house Jana is searching the internet for information on that stolen painting. It flashes to her conversation with Daniel. She’s really worried. Jeffrey and Gloria come out of the backroom and interrupt them and Gloria tells them they are living at the Penthouse. Kevin wants to know how they can afford that. Gloria says she has to hide all of her money because of the judgment by Jabot but Jeffrey offers he’s taking care of her. He’s got her right where he wants her. Gloria says besides she has a plan. Kevin offers her a job if she’s short on cash and she tells him no. Kevin says those are the most frightening words in the world when he hears his Mother say I have a plan.
Nikki runs into Mary Jane at the GCAC and asks her to join her and her fiancé for dinner. She says she can’t Jack keeps her very busy with Jabot work. Once Nikki joins Paul he tells her he’s not discussing work since he promised no work talk tonight, but he is investigating one of Nikki’s associates Mary Jane Benson.
Victor is on the phone talking about never being in the casino business but have his daughter talk to his daughter. About that time Jill comes storming in blaming Victor for all her financial problems. If he hadn’t pulled his money from the Cayman’s she would not be broke. Victor says he don’t give a damn. Jill says she might have over-reacted but if he will help her get her money back he’ll get what he wants too. What’s that asks Victor. Paybacks says Jill.
Kevin is till upset over Jeff taking care of Gloria. He tells Jana if it hadn’t been for Jeff his Mom would have never gone to jail in the first place. Then he says we can all move into the penthouse and all live together as squatters in Phyllis’ penthouse. He said this because he can see Jana is not paying attention to him. Jana are you pregnant he finally asks her. Jana says this is peaceful times or should be and I have this feeling something terrible is going to happen. Helping Mrs. C sure snowballed she tells Kevin. Kevin tells Jana everything is great nothing is going to happen.
Daniel comes into the apartment and see the cops. Amber he said I thought we weren’t going to call the cops. Amber says the emails did it. Det. Wallace says he’s finished he’ll make a report since there was forcible entry. Amber wants to know if he’s going to watch them and he says he doesn’t have it in his budget for private surveillance. He tells her to call the Governor since he was able to help her last time. Amber is furious. She tells the detective that she’s a private citizen and she pays his salary. It’s falling on deaf ears as far as the detective is concerned. Protect and serve mumbles Daniel.
Paul tells Nikki he’s investigating Mary Jane because he gets a bad vibe. Ever since Katherine’s wedding her voice and she seemed familiar to him. She also knew that April (Paul’s ex-wife) lived in NY. Her mannerism are familiar and she tries to avoid me. She can’t seem to get out fast enough when I’m around says Paul. He’s found nothing on her not one thing is what is bothering him. He had a friend send him photo ID’s of all Mary Jane Benson’s and she’s not one of them. She just doesn’t exist says Paul. Nikki tells Paul no she personally did not check Mary Jane out but the office would have. Paul tells Nikki that she sets off alarms for him and he could use Nikki’s help.
Victor asks Jill what payback. Jill says it’s for Katherine stealing Neal Winters away from him. Victor says Neil had already quit Newman and Katherine didn’t steal anyone and he wasn’t going to get in between her and Katherine’s petty squabbling. I have no room for you at Newman says Victor. I wonder how Ashley would feel if she found out her own husband got her fired. Where is she I think I will tell her. Victor is now irate and he tells Jill that Ashley is very fragile and has been in the hospital and if Jill upsets her she’s have more to worry about than her bank account. Jill apologizes and says she didn’t realize that Ashley was not well.
Amber says calling the police was a big waste of time they didn’t take fingerprints or pictures. This is all my fault says Amber. Daniel who hasn’t told her about the stolen art investigation says it’s not her fault. Amber says she’s going to go and see Kevin. After she leaves Daniel is on the phone and tells the Federal Agent Auker if he don’t call him back by noon he’s going to blow this case wide open.
Victor tells Jill to find her own way out of this. Solve her own problems. In comes Gloria and Jeff proclaiming that their entire savings went belly up. Paul tells Nikki she doesn’t seem to have any social connections or family connections. And NY is a big town how would she know about April. Nikki has the papers in her hand now and she says Mary Jane was never checked out. Billy hired her and Jack vouched for her. Come to think of it says Nikki she does seem eccentric almost anti-social like she’s hiding. Paul says they have definitely crossed paths before.
Mary Jane is talking to her Kitty. Don’t worry Kitty Victor is on his way and he will know how to get rid of that mean nasty Sharon. The Jack will come back to me. He won’t want to stay away. He’ll come back repeats Mary Jane. Yes he will she assures the cat and I guess herself. Sounds like another break down if you ask me.
Amber tells Kevin’s it’s someone from the emails that broke in. Kevin wants to know if they found out who did it. Kevin says he’s not playing Shaggy to her Velma. Amber says that’s Daphne thank you very much. This effects you too Kevin who else would do this someone for Daniel? I mean come on….

Nikki and Paul are discussing how much time Mary Jane spent in Europe. Victor comes in and comes over and congratulates them on their engagement. He asks if they have set a date. The Manager confronts Victor and tells him they have not received payment on the room this month. Victor tells him he will be getting it very soon and he should be discreet to never approach him in person again about this subject. The guy shakes his head yes realizing he’s done the wrong thing for sure.

Victor’s paying for a room in cash says Jeffrey. Jill says the manager likes her maybe he will confide in her. Jill suggest that Gloria stay behind and read a magazine that has an article on how to dress age appropriate in it. This woman always has to insult someone or have the last word.
Mary Jane is very upset when Victor arrives. She tells him she’s put a lot of time and effort into this Jack situation. Victor tells her that that plan didn’t work. The surprise is that Paul’s brother is in town who is a Father. Long time no see bro says his brother.
Daniel and Jana search this Agent Auker person to see if they might get a clue as to what he’s hiding. It’s that or do you want Amber up against the Justice Department says Daniel? I’m sure he’s looking into all of this says Daniel. Jana says tell him to get bloody lost. I just can’t shake this feeling that this is going to end bloody badly.
Kevin and Amber are reading emails. One says something about a guy stealing to buy groceries for his kid and Kevin and his sociopath girlfriend get off Scott free. Amber says the guy is partly right and Amber says sociopath girlfriend? They are listening to Dr. Drew all of a sudden which gives Amber a new idea. We have to tell the world we are not a couple of lunatics. Kevin says he’s not going and Amber says he has to or it would never work. They have to see him to believe him.
Paul’s brother says he spent 3 weeks in the Holy land. My brother the globe trotting Priest says Paul. Why are you here he adds. A conventions he says. They will be working with Bishops on youth programs. How long will you stay asks Paul? I’m taking the red eye back tonight says his brother. Mom says you are living in sin he adds. Not for long says Nikki and shows him her ring. Oh he roped you in says the Priest. Nikki says she feels like a teen having to impress her boyfriends Mother and she won’t be happy she’s a divorcee. Nikki says she’s sorry he can’t perform the ceremony.

Amber is on one phone and Kevin on the other and they are calling into the Dr. Drew show. Kevin says he can’t do this and Amber tells him he has to in order to get his side out there for people to hear. Kevin looks really reluctant.
Jana says she can’t believe that Amber didn’t notice the painting was missing. There is a knock at the door. The man at the door is Agent Howard Auker. The only problem is it’s not the same man that Daniel made the deal with to paint the fake painting. Jana and Daniel both know that.
So you think Mom will come to the wedding in black asks Paul? She’ll come around says his brother. He says he’s not one to Judge. Nikki mentions that she’s sorry he can’t perform the ceremony. Paul says well they can all come to the wedding it’s been a long time since they’ve all been together. Mary Jane has entered the coffee house and she sees Paul, Nikki and the brother on the patio and she is shaken. She hyperventilates at the sight of Paul and his brother or is it Nikki that has her shaken up? She really tries to get moving now before anyone see hers.
Jill tells Gloria and Jeffrey that she saw Victor come out of Mary Jane Benson’s room. Ashley’s P/R Director says Jill. This is better than we’d hoped for. They toast. To the downfall of Victor Newman Jill proclaims and Gloria and Jeff both say Here! Here! Way to go Victor.
