Jack and Sharon go out for dinner. Sharon tells Jack he’s really spoiling her by working at home and taking her out to dinner. Jack tells her that her and the baby are the most important things in his life.
Billy tells Chloe he doesn’t even know if the baby is his. Chloe says this is your own brother Billy. Billy tells her he already knows. Chloe says that argument, I knew it was something else. I am surprised he didn’t put you through the wall she tells Billy. I wish he had says Billy. Clearly remorseful.
Phyllis is home from picking up Summer but she doesn’t have Summer with her. She’s dropped her off at Victoria’s. She finds a note from Nick that he’s at the main house with his old man discussing some business. Phyllis talking to herself says hey Phyllis we need to talk about our marriage but business first. Then she says he won’t be able to dodge me when he gets home.
Nick runs into Adam at the main house and says he’s there to discuss business with Dad. Adam says oh you mean you didn’t come to see me, well I didn’t want to see your either. There is an upside to being blind he tells Nick. Nick of course brings up what Adam did to his Dad and Adam tells Nick that he’s Dad has given him a second chance. Nick keeps sticking it in Adam’s face and Adam tells him he wouldn’t be so sure of that. Ashley and the baby has changed him. Nick looks like he believe Adam but doesn’t want to.
Olivia is checking Ashley and tells her the baby is doing fine. You need to rest. You mean I need to see a psychiatrist says Ashley. He and Olivia tie into it again as Olivia continues to push therapy and Ashley keeps avoiding it.
Nikki is sitting by herself at the AC and Victor comes up to her. Victor tells her that his congratulations on their engagement were sincere. He says he has always trusted Paul and they seem happy. Nikki tells Victor thank you and says they have come a long way from the insults that were like darts. Victor says he’s had time to reflect and he regrets the thing she said after Sabrina and the baby died. Nikki says you were hurting and Victor tells her he unleashed all his anger on her. Nikki says in this bittersweet moment she’d like to say something about him and Ashley.
Dad hasn’t forgotten that you tried to frame him for murder with that diary says Nick to Adam. People can change says Adam but you don’t believe that. Nick does tells Adam he genuinely sorry that he’s going blind. Adam says does that mean he might earn his respect someday.
Nikki tells Victor that she went to London and she begged Ashley to find you. I felt she was the only one who could get through to you. It must have been difficult for you says Victor. I was so worried I’d lost you says Nikki. It was a tough times admits Victor. I lost the will to live. Ashley and the baby gave you something none of us could. They brought you back to life and I will always be grateful says Nikki. If you hadn’t survived says Nikki It would have killed me. And she cries.
Adam is now listening to Olivia and Ashley argue. Ashley wants to know why Olivia thinks she needs a shrink when Sabrina came to her in that dream and she was at peace. Now you think I’m crazy because I might have a different perspective says Ashley. Now maybe I need to be committed says Ashley. I’ll check in on you later says Olivia as she realizes that Ashley is more upset than she thought and she’s crossed the line. (Olivia I mean). Ashley tells her that is not necessary.
Nikki stops by Phyllis’ house and announces that she has brought Summer a singing bear. Phyllis says Summer is at Victoria’s. There is another knock at the door and this time it’s Mary Jane. Phyllis wants to know why she’s there and Mary Jane says oh you must have forgotten. We were going to go over the interviews. Oh yeah says Phyllis but do we have to do it tonight. Mary Jane says Jack is pushing her for them. So Phyllis says come in and we will. Nikki asks if she minds if she sits in. No she doesn’t and Mary Jane asks her if her and Paul have set a wedding date yet. No it’s taken us decades to get this far so we are taking it slow says Nikki. (After the scenes with her and Victor today I’m not sure that there will ever be a date). Anyway, Nikki who told Paul she’d help him finding out more about Mary Jane, asks her what brought her back to Genoa City.
Ashley tells Adam that she’s going out. Adam says he thought he heard arguing earlier. Ashley says her and Olivia had a disagreement. She yells to Victor that she is going for a walk.

Jack and Sharon are still out to dinner and he says he should have been a better husband. Sharon says after all she put him through and what I did to you. Jack says no matter who the winner is in the paternity test he wants to be there for her. Sharon tells him that’s a big sacrifice. Jack finally says they hurt each other. He says she could make him a lot happier if she’d marry him. He whips out an engagement rings he’s been carrying around.
Mary Jane tells Nikki she lived abroad in London and came back to Genoa City. You got snapped up by Jabot and then involved in the magazine says Nikki. I thought I already had the job says Mary Jane and they laugh. Phyllis tells Mary Jane she likes her piece with Fashion House but she’s not so hip on the other. Mary Jane says fine they will discuss it. Victoria calls and Summer tells her goodnight and she tells Nikki they are getting ready to go to bed so you better get going. She has the bear for Summer and so she’s out of there. When she’s gone Mary Jane asks Phyllis if Nikki always drills everyone like that. They discuss Phyllis and Nikki working together and Phyllis says it has it’s disadvantages but it’s fun. They get along great. Are you OK asks Mary? Does it show asks Phyllis? Is it about your husband asks Mary Jane? How do you tell men that are jerks and make promise they won’t keep says Mary Jane? Why do we fall for men we can’t trust? Phyllis says you are still hung up on Jack. We were getting along good says Mary Jane and then Sharon ruined it. Oh well says Phyllis that’s what Sharon does best. Keep an eye on her says Phyllis. He’s determined to be the baby’s Daddy, I hate that woman (Sharon) says Mary Jane.

(How can she run back to Nick once he tells her he really, really wants her). I guess marriage really is a big string says Jack, realizing what Sharon is thinking himself I’m sure. It’s just a big step with everything so up in the air right now says Sharon. I don’t think now is the time to make long term plans says Sharon. With three potential Father’s for the baby says Sharon I think we should set the record straight and give Nick and Phyllis a little more time to get settled Sharon adds and we still have Billy and Chloe to contend with it’s all so overwhelming Sharon says. Jack says you know what I’m going to find a safe place for this and a girl can always change her mind he tells Sharon as he puts the ring back in his pocket. Thanks Jack for being so understanding says Sharon. (What’s not to understand, you are stringing me a long waiting on Nick to come and rescue). I said that he didn’t but I think he got the message. Jack’s phone rings and he says Mr. McDermott yes we need to finalize the deal. I tried to call you for 3 days. No now is not a good time. Sharon interrupts and tells him to go she will meet him at home. Are you sure says Jack? Positive says Sharon. Here you take my keys and I’ll take a taxi says Jack.
Chloe says she wants her own home. We have a home says Billy . No that’s a cover up of something that didn’t work out says Chloe. And until then I’ll be at Mrs. C’s house. Wait says Billy. Ashley is at the statue and tells Sabrina she is so happy she had that dream about her. Nikki is walking by, coming back from Victoria’s and sees and hears Ashley. She listens to her talking to Sabrina. She looks concerned. Ashley says it was all so silly. And she was comforted to think that she had finally found peace. It makes me feel better to know that you are watching over me and my baby.
Nick tells Victor he has to sign here and he has to make one phone call and it’s a done deal. Victor tells Nick he’s done a good job and now he wants him to go to NY. There’s a property he’s interested in and the window of opportunity is very small so he has to go tonight. Ah says Nick. OK you know what says Nick it’s not a good time for me. Victor asks if it’s problems with Phyllis and Nick says yes. I should get home says Nick, I don’t know if we are going to make it. Because says Victor? It’s your child he adds. You know about that. He tells Sharon indicated something more the last time they’d spoken says Victor. A lot more says Nick.
Billy orders a bourbon and soda and then tells the bartender to scratch that. He sees Jack finishing up his meeting. Billy tells Jack he wants to talk to him. You got the floor says Jack. I’ve betrayed you in the worst possible way says Billy. Of all the nasty, disgusting things I’ve done I regret this most. I know to say I’m sorry is not enough. I confessed to Chloe he tells Jack and Jack tells him he’s surprised he’s not in a body cast. She was actually pretty good about it says Billy she wants us to get our own place. And what do you want says Jack? It’s probably best for you and Sharon if I’m not there and stop sponging off you says Billy. Jack look I just hope you can forgive me says Billy. Ashley is at the statue and tells Sabrina she is so happy she had that dream about her. Nikki is walking by, coming back from Victoria’s and sees and hears Ashley. She listens to her talking to Sabrina. She looks concerned. Ashley says it was all so silly. And she was comforted to think that she had finally found peace. It makes me feel better to know that you are watching over me and my baby.
Nick tells Victor he has to sign here and he has to make one phone call and it’s a done deal. Victor tells Nick he’s done a good job and now he wants him to go to NY. There’s a property he’s interested in and the window of opportunity is very small so he has to go tonight. Ah says Nick. OK you know what says Nick it’s not a good time for me. Nick tells Nikki he was about to take off Phyllis is waiting on him. Nikki has come by to talk to Victor. She tells Nick she saw Ashley talking to the statue. The conversation was odd she tells Nick. She was asking Sabrina for her blessing. Adam who is still listening says well he guesses that Ashley is not as free of Sabrina as she claims. She’s been doing a lot better Mom, maybe she was thinking out loud says Nick. No it’s more says Nikki something is not right. Are you going to tell Dad asks Nick? We had a wonderful conversation earlier and I’d hate to hurt this new found goodwill she tells Nick. Nick tells Nikki he’s pretty sure Dad is going on a business trip. I want you to show up for work everyday and be on time not when you feel like it. And do an honest hard days work everyday. Spend your evening with your wife and daughter and your weekends.
