Young and Restless character history:

Lily is the daughter of Malcolm and Drucilla Winters. Until recently she believed that Malcolm's brother, Neil, was her father. She has an adopted brother, Devon, and was recently was married to Daniel Romalotti.

In 2004, Lily was given an STD by her much older boyfriend, Kevin Fisher during unlawful sex. Much to the surprise of viewers, she eventually forgave him when he rescued her from a guy who drugged her that same year. Unbeknownst to Lily, the drugging was a setup gone bad orchestrated by Daniel and Kevin in an attempt to make Kevin look like a hero.
In 2005, Lily began her relationship with Daniel when he was charged with vehicular homicide after being in a car accident with Cassie Newman, which resulted in Cassie's death (it was later revealed that it was Cassie who was driving). Lily was the only one (other than Malcolm, Christine, and his mother, Phyllis) who stood by Daniel. They fled to L.A. to avoid arrest and a Romeo & Juliet-style romance developed. After Daniel was exonerated, Neil and Drucilla sent Lily away to boarding school.

In February 2006, Lily returned and secretly reunited and eloped with Daniel. Shortly after their marriage, Daniel confessed to being involved in Lily's drugging two years prior. Lily was furious with Daniel, and moved back in with her parents. Lily eventually forgave Daniel and moved back in with him in the former Abbott pool house.

In April 2007, while on location for a photo shoot, a horrified Lily looked on as her mother, Dru, along with Sharon Abbott, fell off a cliff during an argument with Phyllis. She then found out that the search and rescue team had found Dru's jacket floating past the falls. The Police changed the mission to a recovery operation to find Dru's body.

Shortly after, Lily discovered that Daniel was keeping his addiction to pornography from her. The couple underwent counseling but ultimately Daniel did several other things that drove Lily to begin the process of divorcing Daniel. It was also revealed that since she forged Malcom's name on the marriage certificate, the whole marriage was invalid.

Lily is currently dating Cane Ashby.
