Jack, Sharon, Nick and Phyllis are gather together waiting for the magazine to hit the stands. They make small talk about their adventure and their hopes for it's success.
Victor and Sabrina share breakfast as Sabrina tells Victor she wants him to know that he can talk to her about anything including his ex-wife. Victor says she's perceptive and beautiful. How lucky can he be. He goes onto explain he's not upset about Nikki's remarriage he just doesn't trust David and he's afraid she will get hurt.
Nikki and David come back from their quickie marriage in Mexico and are sort of laughing about their experience and David tells Nikki he'd a married her in a pasture of cows.
Gloria comes into the coffee house looking a wreck. Kevin says she looks like Shi-. Gloria says she needs sleep and keeps having nightmares and it's Jana's fault. She tells Kevin she gave away half of her money and her karma hasn't changed one bit. If she didn't give it away she'd end up in prison and if she did she'd end up in a refrigerator box on Main Street. Kevin immediately calls Michael and leaves him a message "mayday, mayday".
Katherine complains about Jeffrey eating her food and swimming in her pool and using Esther's services while she pay her salary. Jill tells her she's jealous and green with envy and even calls her pickle puss.
The FAB 4 are awaiting the hits on the website and Phyllis says she wishes she'd a used a different design and Sharon is not sure about the vintage piece being right. Then they begin to get one hit after another. They are all happy but not quite ready to celebrate yet.
Michael shows up and asks Gloria who gives away half their fortune and he's not being very nice about it. Kevin tells him to be nicer. He calls Gloria a lame brain. Asks why she didn't consult him first. She said he wasn't filling her mailbox with Mother's day cards. He tells her to get him the paperwork all of it so he can get her out of this.
Jeff brags about Esther's Belgian Waffles and comments that's our Esther and Katherine tells him it's her Esther unless he's paying half her salary. Katherine says she's going to Restless Style in support of Amber and the others. Jeff says he hopes he didn't run her off and she tells him yes he did. And she means it. Jill tells him she doesn't mean it but Katherine makes it clear that she does.
David bring Nikki a copy of Restless Style and Nikki is shocked that Lily isn't on the cover. David said they must have changed and gone with a celebrity which is a good business move. Nikki tells David he is a smart man he's right but they should have at least called her. He said check your messages from when we were in Mexico.
Sabrina encourages Victor to go by and tell Nick that he hopes he'll be successful. Victor says his son won't take that well. He will think I am hoping for his failure. Sabrina says do you want him to fail. Victor says of course not but that's how it will be taken. Sabrina still encourages Victor to stop by and wish Nick well that it would help heal what is between them. Victor says he doubts it will.
Michael asks Gloria where she got this lawyer and she says Milwaukee. Michael says the deal is unbreakable. Kevin says well maybe Jeff will let her keep $200,000 for herself but she can't buy designer clothes and such. Gloria is not impressed with either son and as she is leaving Lauren is coming in and she tells her that she doesn't know how she lives with such a mean and ungrateful person like Michael. And she tells her she hopes someday Fen doesn't talk to her like Michael does to her.
Gloria leaves and finds Alistair on a park bench and realizes that's where he is sleeping. She tells him she's broke too after he tells her that he couldn't pay for his room. She questions Jack no paying him and he tells her Jack said his performance was lacking. She said he was great he sure scared her to death. She tells Alistair she has no money and her sons have turned on her she has nothing. Alistair offers her a drink out of his bottle in a brown bag and Gloria chugs it down.
Victor and Sabrina are on the elevator and David and Nikki get on the same elevator. Sabrina says I hear congratulations are in order. Nikki mutters a quiet thank you. The elevator suddenly stops. Victor says guess we are stuck. Nikki says where is the emergency phone? Victor says the building is too old to have one. All try to use cell phones and no signal is available. David begins to shout hello is anyone up there. But nobody is hearing him as yet. Nikki doesn't like tight places she says.
Kennedy airport has called requesting more copies of Restless Style. They decide now is the time to break open the champagne and toast. They want a picture and Daniel left the camera in the car. (Now come on a fashion magazine only has one camera). Anyway Daniel discovers the elevator is broken.
Michael tells Kevin and Lauren and Jana that Gloria is poor again relatively and figuratively. Lauren tells Michael that Gloria loves him. He says it's not about love and she's the one who had advocated for tough love to begin with. Michael says Gloria is toxic. Lauren says she's depressed and needs us. All of us. Michael says lets table the Mother conversation for now and go over to Restless Style to celebrate the first issue. Lauren says she can't until they find Gloria.
Gloria tells Gloria it's all her fault she has no money and he don't find her attractive since she's got no money. Alistair says he is smitten by her charms. She is a beauty with a sense of humor. He says what do you say we pool our resources and drink to that. Gloria is cold and suggests they go back to her room. She laughs that's she has no money and will stiff them too. Like Alistair has. He says he's not welcome back there and she says she will sneak him in the back way.
Jeff and Jill are talking and Jill tells Jeff that he's very bad. And Jeff tells her she's wonderful and he's crazy about her.
Gloria and Alistair sneak into the room. Gloria says they need a drink to celebrate their little caper. Alistair asks if he'll be spending the night and Gloria who is a bit tipsy says it's too late to spend the day. Alistair excuses himself to freshen up. Gloria lays on the sofa with a picture of John and tells John that she has really screwed up.
Victor says that his son bought this building without a proper inspection and that was very irresponsible. Nikki says he's been busy with the magazine. Victor says he hopes he's been more thorough there. Victor tells Nikki it's a good thing she did sneaking off to Mexico to be married. Nikki says they didn't sneak. Victor says it saved the children the embarrassment. Nikki says the children have no problem with David unlike his pending nuptials. Victor says at least when they come to my house they come to a proper home they see you in a motel room.
Kevin, Jana, Michael and Lauren have looked all over for Gloria and they can't find her. Lauren tells Michael didn't' you hear what she said when she left? That we would all be better off without her? Michael asks her what she's suggesting. Never says Michael when he realizes Lauren mean suicide. She wouldn't do that she loves herself too much.
Alistair comes out and Gloria who is drunk tells him you are handsome John. She kisses Alistair and says that is you John? Alistair says he will be whoever she wants him to be.
Jill tells Jeff the reason Katherine doesn't like him is that he heard Gloria tell Kevin how much she loved you and that she waited to long. Jeff immediately looks interested and Jill nails him. He says no he knew what she was doing he was just playing along. Jill tells him that they (Jill and Jeff) aren't exactly Scarlett and Rhett so Jeff tells Jill he can't lie without Gloria. He's tried everything to get her back. Jill asks if he'd like to know how to win her back and tells him maybe he hasn't tried everything.
It's discovered in Restless Style that Nikki, David, Victor and Sabrina could be stuck between floors. Jack called maintenance he announced. Nick says he hopes that Victoria didn't tell Victor that his Mom just got married and Kay say no but I did. Jack has a real big smile on his face now. Katherine hopes nobody is bearing firearms.
Nikki asks why nobody is coming. Victor tells her to stop whining. Nikki says I wasn't whining I was stating facts. Victor says coming from her it sounded the same. David tells her it hasn't been that long. Nikki says it's stuffy in here. Victor makes some comment and David says alright that's enough. Nikki tells Sabrina once she marries him she'll see how impossible he is to live with. Sabrina says Nikki please. Nikki says he'll act like he values your opinion until you marry him and he doesn't have to do it anymore. Victor tells David he better be ready to learn how to tune her out. David says he doesn't want his advice. Nikki says it doesn't matter he only hears what he wants to hear. Victor says you certainly got that right considering what comes out of your mouth is mostly drivel. Then the lights go out and Nikki says David?

Guess Victor and Nikki needed to vent today. They sure told each other and their honey's how it was. I found this whole elevator thing funny. I couldn't even take sides since they were both right. More talking than the two of them have done in years even if they did it through surrogates. Hope it clears the air for them to try and move on. But I doubt it.
