They became closer as Lauren showed kindess to Kevin and started befriending Michael also. Lauren posted Kevin's bail when he was arrested. Michael would have had to put his apartment up for bail money. Michael was grateful and they became friends who turned into lovers. Michael's(back then psychotic) brother Kevin took Lauren hostage.
First Kiss:At a friendly brunch they had to discuss how to get Kevin to get over his obsession with Lauren( Who was still dating Paul at the time)
Obstacles to Their Love: Michael's lies and Michael's family. Lauren's arch-enemy Sheila.

Lauren has some troubles when she gave birth to Fen and Fen was born too early. Fen being kidnapped by Sheila. Constant interruptions of their family life due to Gloria, Kevin, Phyllis and Michael's clients.

As separate characters, Michael and Lauren have what we fans look for in our faves: going from rotten to redeemed, cheated to cherished, deceitful to absolved. And on those very rare occasions when two such characters "find" one another, IT simply cannot be ignored. We recognize their talent and chemistry. Let us hope that the writers will see this, too and soon!

Lauren and Michael were on their way to being a supercouple before the change in writing regimes. They are really the perfect match in age, intellect, wit, experience, personality, and even looks. They make a stunning couple and to top it off the two actors have fabulous chemistry and love working together as a couple on the show. They can play humor and well as drama and are both emmy winners. So they shoule be a main couple on this show correct?
, What happened then? It seems, for whatever reason the writing staff doesn't like to write for this couple. They give them very little family time and virtually no romantic scenes. They try to force characters together with lackluster chemistry and use a great couple like Likey solely as props for Phick and Gloria and Kevin. The sad thing is that the show really is shooting themselves in the foot. They can have all their favorite couples together and still take advantage of the popularity of Likey. Fans like this couple. I am sure the show knows this from their polls, surveys, boards. CLB and TEB are two of the most likeable actors on this show and obviously well liked by their costars since they are pre-nommed every year. I know I only have a masters degree and two bachelors, but it seems to me the show should take advantage of this popular pairing no matter who created this pairing. After all they were willing to spend over $20,000 on a huge wedding just two years ago on this couple. My question is why has the opninon with TPTB changed so much for this great couple since then? |

It's Michael and Lauren... but they better do it fast! He could potentially ruin everything they have and make their son grow up without parents if they go to prison over this "accessory after the fact". Let's team them up together. Hey, does anyone think there is a chance Jeffrey left that cream in his room for their little Vegas trip? Wouldn't it be nice if they could get their hands on that bottle of cream- replacing it of course and then turn him in for blackmail over something that "never happened", but that Jeffrey just tricked Gloria into thinking there was some accidental contact with the bottle. Not sure about that last part, but Michael and Lauren must outwit this CREEP! Send him back to AFRICA OR ASIA OR ANYWHERE BUT GC!!!

Hi, I love Michael and Lauren. However, I would love to see Michael spend more time with his wife and kid instead of running after filthy phyllis. all she does it whine.. poor me. Or he's after kid brother Kevin and mama gloria as all they do is get into trouble. Big brotha Michael needs to make more babies with his lovely wife.

These two work. They are both intellgent individuals and they are both independent. They look good together. They just need alittle more excitment in their relationship (like Shelia).
