Gloria, still sulking over her son's tough-love stance, dropped by to invite Michael & Lauren for dinner & Lauren is seen coming out of the nursery & telling Gloria that Fen loves the new blocks Gloria brought him- so I guess Gloria didn't get to see Fen anymore than the viewers did. I guess he's back there somewhere playing blocks with an invisible nanny or dutifully 'napping' 15 or 16 hours a day. Summer Newman seems to conveniently nap a whole lot too, Noah is old enough now to sleep at his friends' houses- I guess that's his only other option to boarding school which is a disturbing prospect because boarding school ages you funny...he could leave today a normal 11 year old & come back next year from college. Esther should open her own daycare centre- despite being the only visible employee of the vast Chancellor estate, all she ever seems to do is run a feather duster over the living room, answer the door, & make tea & she's probably lonely since her own daughter Kate went off to boarding school years ago and hasn't been mentioned since.

When you see Michael & Lauren's apartment, you wouldn't even know they had a toddler living there- not a toy or soother in sight and it doesn't look all that baby-proofed. Ditto Nick & Phyllis' place. We see Reed a fair bit but likely only because he has current Plot Relevance. It's the same on sitcoms too- I remember the Cosby Show had 5 kids and a spotless living room. The only show I've seen that actually looks like kids live there is Everybody Loves Raymond- toy baskets, comfortable clutter etc.

I know soaps are driven by predominantly adult-centred story lines, but a little parental realism from time to time would be nice.

If Olivia is in Africa like someone said very quickly in one episode where is Nate? Does no one remember they aged Lilly and suddenly she was older than Nate?
When Jill was going through hell wondering where her real son was did she emotionally cut Phillip the third from her family since Phillip Jr was not really hers? Please bring him and his amazing Mom, Nina back!
Has Kate (Esther's daughter) been in boarding school for 20 years now?
Scotty Jr. used to be in this category until a few years ago, but he has again gone MIA minus a few "calls" to Lauren.
Anyone know the answers to these "where are they"s?
