Jill assures Cane that she can handle Katherine. Cane encourages her to mend the fences with Katherine. He wants to know if the DNA comes back that he’s not her son will she turn on him too and of course Jill says she won’t and besides she’s sure he is her son.

Lily apologizes to Nina for her behavior the day before. I know your situation is different she tells Nina and regardless of the outcome, for Katherine’s sake could they call a truce. Nina says they can. Right on cue her phone rings. The DNA test results are back.

Jack runs into Mary Jane and notices she’s off and asks her if she’s OK. She says she really needs a friend. Jack says he has a meeting with Sharon and Mary Jane says forget it she’s fine. Jack thinks she’s upset about Summer and tells her he is concerned too. What he doesn’t know is that Mary Jane has told Heather or inferred to Heather that Phyllis did this to Summer on purpose to get Nick’s attention.

Victor, Nikki, Nick and Phyllis are in Summer’s room. Victor is on the phone trying to get Summer’s medical records dispatched to a doctor he has a jet standing by for to fly him in when the time comes. Whatever that means.

Paul runs into Heather who is lurking around the hospital like a blood hound. She confides to Paul that a source has told her that Phyllis did this to Summer to get Nick’s attention which Paul tells her there is no way. Not that anything Paul tells Heather or anyone else will have any influence once she gets something in her head.

Mary Jane seems to be having a bit of a meltdown. She has flashbacks of why Victor brought her here or him saying that anyway. He has big plans for her. Then she flashes to Jack and her saying she wanted to take a photo of him in front of John’s Portrait when she’s never been to the house before. Then she flashes to Paul who tells her she seems so familiar to her. Then she has a wedding invitation for today’s date for a Patty Williams and a John Abbott, Jr. That would be Jack. Then she says Happy Anniversary Jack. Why is it that I feel she really doesn’t plan to make this a day for Jack much less an anniversary.

Phyllis and Nick encourage Summer to wake up. They remember how excited she was over fireworks last year. She’s supposed to be Super Girl says Phyllis. This is my fault she says. God is punishing me for what I’ve done. Nick tells her it was a terrible accident and she is an amazing Mother. You says Summer is the glue of this family but that’s not true it’s you. You are says Nick and they hug.

Mary Jane is laying on the bed and there is a knock on her door and she says Jack oh you remembered. (the anniversary I assume). But she’s disappointed when it’s Paul. He says there are some nasty rumors going around about Phyllis and since she’s been hanging at Restless Style he was wondering if she’d seen anything. Mary Jane tells him it’s not a good time. It’s important that he gets this information on Phyllis. I can’t help you says Mary Jane and slams the door. The she asks Kitty what happened to her pills. She finally finds them and washes them down with an airplane sized bottle of booze. Then she cries. Then she gets Kitty and says make it stop.

Noah goes by to see Sharon and they hug. Noah wants to know why this is happening again. I lost my big sister now I’m going to lose Summer too. Sharon tells him he hasn’t lost Summer. Sometimes when you are really sick your body has to shut down to heal Sharon tells him and reminds him of Victoria. What about Dad and the house asks Noah? Sharon tells Noah that the baby is Jack’s and Noah wants to know what that means. Sharon says she doesn’t know their focus should be on Summer right now. But Jack will be a great Father says Sharon.

Victor goes to the chapel to tell Nick that Phyllis is looking for him. Nick tells his Dad this is so hard. I look at Summer and all I see is Cassie. Victor says whatever you do don’t give up. Talk to her. You might not think so but she hears you. She might not respond but she hears you. Why is this happening again asks a crying Nick? Sharon’s baby is Jack’s says Nick. And it’s a girl. I’m sorry son I know you wanted the baby to be yours. Tell Phyllis I will be back soon says Nick. Everything will be alright says Victor.

Jack comes in as Victor is leaving and sees Nick. Summer has brain damage and we might lose her he tells Jack. Don’t drive yourself crazy says Jack. She’s my little girl and I don’t know what to do. Jack says he loves her too and reminds Nick he was the one who was there when she was born in the elevator on that stormy day. He says Summer is tough like her Mother. God took one of my daughters says Nick and he’s not going to get that one. You hear that he says to God.
Katherine gets home via Murphy and Nina shows up with the DNA results. She says she can’t open them herself she’s so nervous.

Cane and Jill discuss her fighting with Katherine, Nina and Billy that’s it’s made it seem like a real family. Lilly appears with the DNA results. She explains she went with Nina to pick them up and they gave her a copy for Cane. Jill says go ahead and get it over with. Of course he’s Jill’s son. Jill says of course you are I never doubted it for a minute. Jill leaves to go and gloat for Nina and Katherine and Lily says they can finally put this behind them. Before Jill left she said it was time that Cane took Phillip Chancellor’s name. Cane says he wanted to wait. He asks Lily how she feels about taking the name. And says all of this is a gift and Lily asks him why he keeps saying it’s a gift when it’s who he is. Lily asks Cane if he’s heard from Langley and he says he has and it’s all worked out. After Lilly leaves Cane calls Langley and leaves a message for him that says by the time you get this message this problem is taken care of. Everything is the way you want it.

Nina reads the results and shouts No, No this not right. That man is not Phillip. I don’t believe this. The DNA says otherwise says Katherine. Cane got to them says Nina. You were in the room when they done the test says Katherine. Who was that man that we both loved so much asks Katherine? Murphy says they might never know unless they find the body. Nina says Paul found everyone and interviewed them except the cop in the ambulance that disappeared that night. Murphy asks if she thinks there was some kind of payoff. Katherine says but why?

Mary Jane and Kitty are asleep on the bed with the wedding invitation. All of a sudden Kitty comes to life and Mary Jane is in a wedding dress. She sees Jack and Diane Jenkins kissing in the office the day of her wedding. She’s pregnant with Jack’s child. She runs and trips on her wedding dress and falls down and loses her baby. This is all a flashback/dream though. More of the things running around in Mary Jane’s head at the moment which seems to have gone mad.

Noah meets Nick at the hospital and he mentions that Jack is the Father of the baby. Nick says Noah and Summer are the most important things in his life. He tells Noah that Summer will be OK. Noah says you think so, and Nick says yes she has to be. Noah goes in to see Summer and Phyllis says your favorite brother is here Summer wake up.

Paul is talking to Nikki and she wants to know why Heather is hanging around. Paul tells Nikki that Heather thinks that Phyllis possibly did something to Summer. Nikki says Heather thinks Phyllis did something to Summer? That’s insane says Nikki.

Mary Jane sees herself as a Princess dreaming about marrying her Prince but then she lost the baby. The real Fairy Princess Story until she finds out that Jack is sleeping with another woman and the only reason he was marrying her was because he wanted to be President of Jabot. I loved you Jack and I meant nothing to you. I have nothing to live for and Mary Jane produces a gun and says she’s going to kill herself. Jack begs her not to kill herself. He tells her don’t shoot yourself shoot me I am the one who did this. So Mary Jane fills Jack with 3 slugs. I guess this is the issue he was telling Phyllis about the other day.

Nikki tells Paul that if Heather thinks Phyllis would intentionally hurt Summer that is insane. Paul says he agrees. Well why is she hanging around asks Nikki. Someone came forward and anonymously made the claim about Phyllis says Paul. You know Phyllis would never hurt her own child says Nikki.

Sharon goes by Jack’s for their meeting and Jack’s all excited about the baby and he’s tearing out walls to make it place that Sharon can stay and be with the baby and Sharon freaks on him and says she’s not ready for all this togetherness. Jack says he’s been pretty understand with all her ambivalence and she could cut him some slack on his enthusiasm. He says he really missed out on his other children and he has a second chance to be there for their daughter. I’m good with other people’s kids he says. Maybe I would be a good Dad to our own. Sharon looks helpless and this lie she’s living is not helping her mentally one bit. She just looks so defeated.

Mary Jane still in her wedding gown calls out for her big brother Paul to help her after she has shot Jack. Someone, anyone help me she begs. I can help you says Victor. I can give you what you want. To be the kind of woman Jack Abbott would fall in love with. Sophisticated, dynamic and professional. All the qualities he would find desirable says Victor. Why would you help me. I will do what you want to have Jack says Victor. He will never be yours says Sharon who steps into the picture pregnant. You are a play thing to him. He don’t want you he wants me Sharon says. He’s going to help me raise my baby she adds. Mary Jane shouts No. Victor says he hopes that history won’t repeat itself. (Does he mean the shooting of Jack)? Then they are all gone leaving her alone. Mary Jane wakes up. She pets Kitty. You are going to love me this time Jack says Mary Jane. And this time there won’t be other women. You are going to be all mine.

All hell breaks loose in Summer’s room when Heather and Gill enter the room. Nikki and Victor are also there. They tell Phyllis to step away from her daughter they have to make sure she won’t hurt her daughter. Victor wants to know what this is all about. Heather asks Nick if it’s true that him and Phyllis separated before Summer got sick. Yes he says. Phyllis wants to know what that has to do with anything. Heather says it’s possible you fed peanuts to your daughter to make her ill to get your husband’s attention. Nikki says Oh my God. Phyllis says this is beyond insane. Gil tells her she will cooperate or be arrested for obstruction of justice and she needs to step outside. Phyllis says no she’s not going anywhere. She tells Gil to please go to hell. Gil tells her if she takes her to jail she will be locked up for a long time and not see her daughter and asks her if that’s what she wants? Phyllis says she’s not going anywhere this is crazy and Heather says lets go Mrs. Newman. Gil says Now Mrs. Newman and grabs her arm and Victor tells Gil to take his hands off Phyllis. Victor says sternly Phyllis to get her attention. Then he says to Heather Ms. Stevens take this outside. How dare you walk in here like this. Phyllis begins to tell Summer that she has to go for second and tells her she loves her very much and Mommy will be right back. Gil repeats now Mrs. Newman. Come on. Nikki says God as she watches them haul Phyllis out and looks at Victor like do something. Victor asks Nick is he has any idea what this is about. Nick has been mute throughout this who ordeal and just shakes his head no like he’s in shock. Nikki tells Phyllis it will be all right, it will be OK as they haul Phyllis out in the hallway.

Phyllis says look they have a guard by the door like I’m some criminal or something this is insanity. Where is this coming from she asks Nick? Nick finally says they are going to figure it out. Victor says he’s calling Michael Baldwin and he will handle this. Phyllis thanks him. Heather tries to tell Nikki this is not what she wanted but she just didn’t have a choice. Nikki isn’t buying that she tells Heather there is always choices. Phyllis continues to say she did not give Summer peanuts. Nick says we know you didn’t. Nikki says we know you would never hurt her. Gil comes over and say you all better go along home now. Phyllis begs Victor and Nikki to be there for Summer. If she wakes up she will be scared if no family is around We will be there says Nikki who is just distraught by now. Victor assures Phyllis they will be there. Nikki cries as Phyllis leaves and she is looking at Victor who doesn’t make eye contact like come on do something and Victor has that cold stare like he wants to kills someone. Probably Heather and Gil and who could blame him. They sure didn’t need this.

Jack still designing the nursery and going on and on and Sharon says look it’s not you it’s me. I need to be self reliant and provide a stable environment for my daughter. Jack tries to say this is where she could do that and Sharon says no she needs to do it herself. Jack looks hurt and says he just wants to be part of our little girl’s life and Sharon says she needs time. So back off more or less. Probably more.

Murphy tells Katherine that Esther is a good gal but tofu burgers on the grill is too much for him and his BBQ. Katherine says she will speak with Esther. Jill gets home and says oh they released you. What’s the diagnosis? I’m fine no thanks to you says Katherine. I see Nina beat me here, yes Cane is my son. Jill tells Katherine she is just glad that she’s OK. Murphy wants to know if he can leave you two girls alone while he scrapes the BBQ. Katherine says she’s not much in the mood to argue with anyone today. Murphy says if you need me holler. How’d Nina take the news asks Jill? Katherine says well just imagine not knowing who your Father’s son is. Jill asks how Katherine is feeling. Katherine says that she’s just glad it’s settled and adds that Cane is good man. Jill says well that makes us still family in a warped way. After what you did to me yesterday says Katherine, you actually left me for dead. Who the hell needs family like that? And she walks off with Jill watching her leave. Not sure what that look was or I’d tell you.

Lily has the dessert she’s taking to the BBQ that Dru told her to never go empty handed to. She sees Cane and says thought you were going to meet me inside. He says he was daydreaming. He tells her again what a gift this all is and this is where she tells him it’s not a gift it’s who he is and after today nobody will question that.

Nina is at the gravesite and says she is back to square one to helping our son. She says God is not listening. I love you so much who are you. Why can’t I accept this Cane as Phillip. Paul appears and says because he may not be. The lab tech called and there is a problem with Cane’s blood. Nina looks like she’s all ears and relieved that this isn’t over yet.

NEXT ON THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS:

Michael tells Victor that the county has temporary custody of Summer and the court will appoint a guardian. Victor mumbles something and Nikki asks Michael if their hands are tied?

Billy says this is kind of exciting isn’t it? Mac says, What, meeting secretly?

Nina, who is with Paul, walks up to Cane, who is with Lily, and asks him Where did the blood come from Cane? The blood she says again Where’d it come from? Busted Cane.

Amber is at the jail with Jana talking about her bail hearing. Michael is trying to get a different Judge to review my case says Jana. Hopefully he will give me bail and I can be home tonight. Flimsy says Michael who has walked up but you might go home.

Kevin runs into Daniel and wonders why he’s not at the courthouse. He says he was doing some pictures of Summer for Phyllis and he forgot the time. He’s still wanting Kevin to get Balfore’s cell since it will be in court today and Kevin tells him that Jana might be able to make bail he didn’t want to do anything to get that taken away from her and if he got caught he’s got three strikes.

Neil has given Tyra a ride home and he’s going to see Katherine. It’s personal with Cane he tells her as she clinging. Devon and Roxanne come downstairs after Neil left and Tyra looks pretty judgmental.

Jill rants at Katherine that first she’s glad she’s not her daughter and now she’s trying to take her son away from her by being in cahoots with Nina over Cane. Katherine tells he she’s full of self-pity and anytime something goes wrong she blames her. Why do you hate me says Katherine?

Billy comes by to tell Mac something but she tells him it’s a waste of time. He simply tells her that he’s giving up and he’s no longer going to push her.

Kevin tells Daniel it’s risky and there will be armed guards and cameras. He just didn’t want to since Jana was involved. Daniel says to get that phone is the only way to find out who wanted Balfore dead.

Amber tells Michael Daniel is on his way. He says he’s going to present what little evidence there is and ask for a speedy trial. Amber says all of this may have some connection to her. Michael seems interested in that.

Jill says she doesn’t hate her but she has every reason too. Katherine says Jill has her so upset she can’t talk. Jill says it’s because of her black heart. She’s going on and on about how Katherine nearly destroyed a little boys life. Neil notices that something is wrong with Katherine and Jill says she’s fine she’s faking it. She’s faking it says Jill. Help me says Katherine.

Billy tells Mac the thing with Sharon was just a fluke. I made a mistake I make them all the time he says. Then I get Judged, it’s crap but with you it’s different he tells Mac. It feels good. I can’t change and I drive you crazy. No more begging he tells her I’d just screw it up anyway. It’s what’s best for both of us says Mac time to stop living for what’s not there anymore. Murphy come bolting in and says there is something wrong with Katherine and to come quick.

Katherine says she can’t feel her left side. Blurry vision and her speech is off. Murphy tells he to take her time and talk slower. Neil wants to know if she can lift her arms. One she can and one she can’t. Oh my God says Jill did I do this to her? Mac says her blood pressure is high so she asks Murphy to bring the car around. She also asks Jill to call the hospital and let them know they are on their way.

Michael wants to know what is in her past. I was young and made mistakes got into drugs did some rehab. I’m afraid someone is trying to hurt Daniel to get back at me. You have to sit down with me and tell me everything says Michael. Amber says she will as long as Daniel is not there. Michael says maybe she needs to tell Daniel first.

Amber tells Kevin that she thinks it’s some low-life from her past trying to hurt Daniel. She explains how she doesn’t want Daniel to judge her. Which is worse says Kevin losing Daniel because he judges you or losing Daniel behind bars when you could have saved him?

Devon asks Tyra why she’s home she thought she was at work. She says this is her home and what if she’d a had Ana with her? You daughter is at a sleep over in case you have forgotten says Devon. And we don’t’ need your approval says Devon. Devon tells Tyra how it is. He says or were you too busy with Neil to remember that. This sets Tyra off. And Devon tells her if Karen was the rebound wife that makes you the rebound from Karen. Neil is never going to love anyone like he loved Dru. I know I saw it I lived it. So if you are waiting for Neil to ask you to move in and start playing house with you, you can forget it.

Olivia checks out Katherine and asks her what she was doing and she says arguing with Jill. How bad is this asks Murphy and Olivia says she’s just glad she got there quick.

Billy goes to the chapel and starts to pray for his Grandma. He says he’s lost a lot lately and he can’t lose her too.

Tyra tells Devon she wasn’t being critical and what does he have against her anyway? I’m not trying to be and nobody is hurt. Especially Ana. I gave up a lot for her and I’d do it again. No dates, no proms, not friends I went home. So yes I am trying to get some of what I lost back with Neil. I’m not saying that Neil doesn’t care about you says Devon I am telling you that Neil doesn’t love you. He loves Dru. Screw you Devon says a crying Tyra. Screw you. As soon as Devon leaves she dials Neil right away. We need to talk right away.

Neil talks to Jill about still loving her Mother. He said he could see it on her face when they left the house. He said she’s done this two times before and had regrets and not to do it a 3rd time. He encourages her to go to Katherine and try and work it out.

Olivia tells Katherine it’s a TIA, mini-stroke. She wants to know if it will have a lasting effect. Katherine moves her hand so she more or less answers the question for this time. Olivia says it’s because he blood pressure is elevated. Normally she’d let her go home but she wants to keep her overnight just to be sure she’s OK. Katherine says somebody call Jill with the bad news that I am going to live. Mackenzie doesn’t think that’s funny. Katherine realizes how upset she is and says she’s going to be just fine and not to worry. He comforts Mac and tells her she’s not going anywhere.

Billy still in the chapel says God if you are there could you help?

In court Jana tells Kevin that Michael made his pitch and the Judge called them to side bar and they have been there for 2 days. It hasn’t been but she says it feels like that anyway. Then they finally come back. The Judge rules the prosecution should have never brought in her priors and he releases her on $100,000 bail. Thank God says Jana. Thank Michael says Kevin. Thank the Judge says Michael. Now to Daniel’s Charges says the Judge and where is he and Heather says she had the same question.

Daniel’s in the hallway talking to Amber who has something she needs to tell him but Kevin comes out and tells Michael they are doing him now and he’s late and the Judge isn’t happy. Daniel doesn’t get the charges dropped but he remains out on the same bail and they get a speedy trial. Amber attempts to tell Daniel again and Kevin clears his throat and Amber says what if I am wrong?

Billy continues to pray for his Grandma and he says she’s been there so many times for him. I don’t want to abandon her I need her. We all need her. She makes life easier. All I have done is party. Nobody but me lost Mac. Our wedding night changed me. She couldn’t have me nobody could have her. Then Delia came along. I walked away from Mac the second time because it was the right thing for both of us. I know it’s not right for her. Please let Mac have a good life.

Jill asks Olivia if Katherine is OK and if it’s a stoke. Olivia says you know I can only tell authorized people about patients. Jill says it wasn’t too long ago that I was that person you’d tell. Olivia seems sympathetic and just tells Jill she is awake.

Roxanne seems confused over Tyra. Devon says the woman is dense. Roxanne says she doesn’t know why he doesn’t just let Tyra and Neil handle it. Why are you so bent she wants to know? First you are upset now you are worried she’ll get hurt.

Tyra tells Neil that her and Devon had a horrible fight and she doesn’t think they can even be housemates anymore. I thought I could move in with you. Neil says you mean temporarily. Is it that bad that you can’t stay one more night. Tyra said she wasn’t talking temporarily moving in with Neil. He tells her he enjoys her company but he’s not ready to take things to the next level. He tells her he should explain. Karen was his wife and he let himself slip and treated her badly. I don’t want to make the same mistake with you. So I we need to take things slow. I want it to work with you Tyra I really do says Neil. Do you ever think it will get to that point asks Tyra? Neil says well he has his job and his children. Tyra says he’s said enough. Neil says he just wants them to get on the same page. I don’t want you blind sided like my wife was. Man Tyra is not liking this one bit.

Daniel says at least the Judge didn’t revoke his bail. Amber tells Daniel she promises him that she’s going to do everything in her power to find out who did this to you. But she doesn’t tell him the truth she needs to yet.

The clerk is ask to take the box of evidence the prosecutor had for Daniel’s case back to the evidence room. All of a sudden there is a power failure and some dropping and stumbling and shifting around heard on the floor. Then you hear someone say hey and then in a little bit of light you see Kevin taking off. Man I sure hope he didn’t steal that cell phone but I bet he did.

Katherine says the way she sees it that Jill is directly responsible for what happened to her. (Jill is outside listening) She was screaming at me and my blood pressure was rising I could feel it. I didn’t used to think this way but I am thrilled that me and that witch are not related. Murphy tells her she’s just upset and she’d take her back in a heartbeat if she came to her. As much as I hate to admit that I would says Katherine. Jill didn’t hear that last party the good part, the nice part. She had taken off when Katherine first said that she was glad she wasn’t related to that witch.

Mac tells Billy that Katherine will be fine. She had a mini stroke from hypertension. She’s going to be OK. Thanks for thinking of me says Billy. You do that all the time. Think of other people he says. How long have you been here? Long enough says Mac. I’ve made mistakes. I closed off my heart because I was really scared. I didn’t close my heart six years ago says Billy but I blamed you because you did. I love you Billy says Mac. I always have and I always will want to be with you. Then there is a bunch of kissing.

NEXT ON THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS:

Nick tells Jack that he’s really scared. Summer has brain damage and we could lose her.

Lily says the lab called Nina with the results and I went with her over there to get a copy and they gave me a copy for you she tells Cane with Jill looking on.

Heather who is with Gil asks Phyllis who is with Nick by Summer’s bed, if it’s possible that she fed her daughter peanuts in order to get her husband’s attention. Phyllis says that is beyond insane. Victor and Nikki look on with not too much happiness over that remark.

Jill takes time off from her new nail job to make sure she’s there when they do the DNA. Katherine tells her not to take it out on Nina.

Cane is still trying to call Langley and he’s still not answering. Lily walks in and hears him say something about an emergency and Cane lies to her and says it’s about a financial matter his Uncle needs to take care of. He leaves his phone and Lily checks it and all the calls on his phone are to Langley. A whole bunch of them.

Sharon stops by Jack’s and he gets a fruit basket. It’s Jack’s birthday and Sharon has forgotten. Jack understands and says she wont’ get any pressure from him. She tells him that Nick doesn’t know anything yet he’s at the hospital with Summer. Jack had no idea and he thinks they should go and Sharon says she doesn’t think she should go. Finally she says she will go but she’s not going in that room or anywhere near it.

Nikki and Paul brings flowers into Summer’s room and Phyllis wants them out she says it smells like a funeral home in there. Victor greets Phyllis outside the room with a big warm hug. She confides to Victor how scared she is. Mary Jane comes by and wants to know if there is anything she can do. Victor gets a text that says I know all about MJ. Jimmy’s one hour. Phyllis tells Mary Jane she was up all night.

Nina tells Neil that it’s not just about the DNA test or about her son. She says that the DNA test has led to other suspicions about Cane. She thinks Cane’s involved and she’s worried about Lily. Neil tries to defend Cane and tells Nina he’s not a con artist in fact he’d heard that he turned down a considerable amount of money. Was that before or after I came to town asking questions asks Nina? Lily is going to need you if I am right says Nina.

Jill says Nina is now a scandal monster since she’s not a gold digger anymore and Katherine asks them not to start. Lily talks to Katherine about Cane’s Uncle who seems to have disappeared and she thinks maybe Cane doesn’t trust her to talk to about him. Lily explains there is some kind of financial difficulty.

Mary Jane and Michael show up at the hospital exactly what Phyllis didn’t want to happen. She hugs Michael and tells him that Nick is there with her and there is no need to call Lauren to come and be with her. She tells him she needs Nick right now. Phyllis tells Michael it felt right to hold his hand. What if Summer leaves me she tells Michael and Nick is gone I’d be alone I’d have nothing I’d lose everything. Somebody asks Nick why Mary Jane is there I think it was Michael and he says she’s a friend of Phyllis. Phyllis wants to know if Nick’s been back in the room since she left. No something about Sharon not answering her phone.

Jeffrey asks Victor if he likes the picture he sent of Mary Jane. Victor asks him if he thinks he cares and Jeffrey says well you are here aren’t you? Wonder what Ashley would think Jeffrey threatens Victor. Victor tells Jeff he didn’t think he was Mary Jane’s type. Well actually he says I’m not. I don’t have to pay for a high class hooker. But your pregnant girlfriend might see it different he tells Victor. Man Jeffrey must have had idiot pills for lunch.

Victor tells Jeffrey he’s made a serious misjudgment. Jeffrey tells Victor to go by his terms and reimburse him, Jill and Gloria for the financial mess he created for them and he gets the picture and privacy. Victor says why don’t you take your decaying body back to the swamp you came from. You don’t know who you are dealing with. As he’s leaving he goes by a table where Gloria is sitting alone with a hat on. Guess she thought Victor wouldn’t notice her in this disguise but he leans over and tells her directly you picked the wrong side.

Nick prays over Summer. Mary Jane and Phyllis talk about how Nick will always love her as they watch him. The conversation leads to Mary Jane telling Phyllis that he’s not the Father of Sharon’s baby that Jack is. Phyllis is stunned.

Nina and Cane finally show up and they begin the DNA testing process. Cane wants to do it alone since he has a problem with needles. Lily says you never told me that before. But Nina has a cow so they do it out in the open. Cane didn’t even pass out so it’s all good for the moment. Can had his own blood in the tube that he wasn’t able to switch yet….

Lily blasts Nina and says she is confusing one of her screenplays with real life. Nina says she’s been lied to before and Lily defends Cane and says that’s why she married him because he’s so honest. Nina mentions her deal with David Kimble and she’s told not to bring up that name again and get Katherine upset she might have a spell.

Mary Jane takes Summer a teddy bear. She tells Summer she only meant to make her a little sick. Something to take her mind off Jack. She was taking him away from me. But it didn’t work so I’ll have to figure out something else to send Mommy far, far away.

Victor tells Jill that she’s in cahoots with Jeff. He was trying to extort money from me on your behalf. I sent him on his way. He says he will go to Ashley unless I pay says Victor. Ashley is not well and she’s fragile. Jill says she might have some influence for a job at Newman.

Nina apologizes to Katherine. Katherine says she’s not sleeping well and she’s had no appetite since the exhumation. Lily says her Dad just called and wants to talk to her so she has to go and see him.

Heather says she just saw Nick and he was on the phone and Phyllis wants to know if she knew who he was talking to. Heather says No and asks Phyllis if she’s OK since her hands are shaking. Phyllis says she’s fine.

Were you too busy on the phone with Sharon says Phyllis to Nick?. I really need you here. You promised to be here says Phyllis. Nick says he hadn’t heard from Sharon and he was worried about her baby so he’d called her. Phyllis says her baby? Her baby isn’t even yours says Phyllis it’s Jack’s. Nick asks Jack where Sharon is and he says she’s in the chapel. Mary Jane sees Jack hug Phyllis as Nick takes off. She doesn’t like this much.

Jill tells Victor don’t tell me there isn’t’ any openings. Victor says he’s sure she’d be perfect in Genoa City or otherwise but the answer is still no. He tells her she’s been concerned since she left Katherine. She has no status and no relevance.
Lily is upset over why Nina needs answers. She says he’s evasive about his past. And he wont’ talk about his past. Finally she does ask Cane if there was something she needed to know about his past and his Uncle you’d tell me right? Cane hugs her and doesn’t really answer her.
Mary Jane sees Heather and tells her that Summer is such a sweet baby and she can’t believe her own Mother would do something like that to her. Heather says she’s the Asst DA and Mary Jane keeps babbling and says she never thought Phyllis would do something this bad just because she wanted to get Nick’s attention.
Nick’s goes to the chapel to find Sharon and she’s not there. He prays. He’s upset and angry over Cassie and now over Faith not being his child. He tells God he can’t be that cruel and Sharon enters about that time.

Jill and Cane prepare to leave and Katherine asks what Victor wanted and she says none of your business. We will have the test results the end of the week. Katherine wants to know why she’s angry with Nina and then Katherine says she doesn’t feel well.

Mary Jane catches Victor in her room and says she’s not comfortable with him barging in when she’s not around. You have been associated with me he warns Mary Jane. Be careful. I wouldn’t want history to repeat itself he warns Mary Jane. Mary Jane who looks scared for once says that would never happen.

Gloria warns Jeffrey that Victor Newman is a very dangerous man. Jeff just blows her off and says he has Victor Newman on a leash. Oh if you only knew Jeffrey.

Heather after talking to Mary Jane phones he office and wants all the information they have on Munch Housing’s by Proxy syndrome.

Sharon tells Nick it’s true that Jack is the Father. Phyllis and Summer need him right now she tells Nick. Nick tells Sharon he believed it was his child. You can’t let Phyllis down like you did me says Sharon it will destroy you. It’s a girl isn’t it says Nick? It’s like he’s not hearing Sharon at all. Yes it is says Sharon but not your girl. Nick might be destroyed over this not to mention Summer. But Sharon has now lied to about everyone over who is the Father of the baby.

Well Adam reached a new low today. The man we have known as a great lover of women, was so desperate today he put the moves on Rafe. He does it and then says he’s an idiot to just forget this to Rafe. Rafe looks stunned.

Mac is shocked over Chloe’s statement that Billy is one of the potential Father’s of Sharon’s baby. Chloe wants to know if they are going to hang out for the results and then she’ll leave and they can get back to what ever it was they were doing. That would be getting ready to make love when Chloe had knocked on the door and barged in.
Jack has trouble concentrating when he’s with Mary Jane. He says his head is some other place and Mary Jane says she likes him in bed or they could just talk. Jack says he’s preoccupied.

Sharon is in the chapel at the hospital and has a chat with God. She’s praying for this baby to be Nick’s and the baby girl he dreamed of having. She mentions the dream with Cassie saying he’d have another baby girl someday.

Phyllis and Nick get the very bad news that Summer is in a coma.

Mac questions Billy sleeping with Sharon and getting her pregnant. Billy says it was an accident. Chloe quips yes he tripped and fell on top of her when she was naked. Mac storms out and Billy isn’t very happy with Chloe. He accusing her of enjoying hurting Mac like this and the bantering back and forth that they do. Chloe says yes it’s great for me Billy. Billy tells her to feel free not to watch. Chloe tells him she’s not the issue but Sharon and her baby is. Will he be the Uncle, the Daddy or one lucky SOB and get off the hook?

Jack tries to explain to Mary Jane that he’s just distracted. Mary Jane thinks it’s Phyllis and if Jack would just open up she’d be one less person to look after but he tells her him and Phyllis go back a long ways but she’s not the problem it’s his brother that has his attention right now. Mary Jane says then should I take a rain check? He asks if she’d mind and she says no as long as the rain check remembers what it’s for.

Phyllis continues to talk to Summer to try and get her awake. She promises to buy her the doll and all those accessories if she will just wake up. The one she told her she couldn’t have. Nick tells Phyllis that when he looks at Summer he sees and Phyllis says Cassie. He tells her it’s OK he can talk to Summer and touch her. She says talk to her please. Nick does and he tells her that Daddy is here now.

Sharon continues to talk in the chapel but now she’s talking to Cassie and tells her it’s a miracle that her and Nick are back together, Noah, the new baby Sister Faith. Sharon checks her phone and Sharon realizes that Nick did text her. She finds out that he’s in the Emergency Room at the same hospital she’s already at.

Nick calls Victor and fills him in on Summer. He tells Phyllis that Dad sends his love to Summer. Sharon shows up but sees Nick and Phyllis and stays outside. Nick wants to know if Phyllis wants him to call anyone for her. She says no please don’t’ do that. They mean well but they will come here and say all the right things and she tells Nick she can’t do that and says please don’t call them here. They shouldn’t be here, Summer shouldn’t be here, she should be home in her own bed, safe she adds. Nick touches Phyllis and says comes here. Phyllis struggles but he hugs her and Sharon is watching and leaves. Phyllis goes back to talking to Summer. Hey Sweetie wake up, are you ready to wake up. Come back to us says Phyllis and Nick tears up.

Victor fills Ashley in on Summer and she wants to know about the shot she knows that Phyllis always has. Victor says this was a really severe reaction he guesses and it didn’t work. When Ashley questions if he’s going to the hospital Victor tells her Summer is in a coma and there are no visitors. Ashley goes on about how Nick needs Summer like Victor needs this baby after having lost his other baby with Sabrina. And just because he removed her things for the house doesn’t mean that the loss goes away rather or not you talk about it. Victor tells her he will talk but he wants to not live in the past. I will lean on you to humor me because I need you he tells Ashley. She says that is the nicest thing he’s ever said to her. You really mean that? You add life to the house, joy to my life and the baby. I hope now that Sabrina is part of the past adds Victor.

Rafe tells Adam he’s quiet as they are both getting dresses. Rafe says he can go or he can stay. Adam uses Victor as an excuse. Look Adam says Rafe, what happened I know you have Heather. I know the world sees you in a certain way. So if you are feeling all confused. I’m fine says Adam and then repeats he’s fine. But then he adds that Rafe should go. Rafe tells Adam to take it easy. Adam immediately calls Heather and desperately tells her on a voicemail that he needs her.

Billy and Chloe really have it out. He asks her why she’s still there if she is so done with him. What did you think would happen when you ran Mac off. That sparks would fly and we’d jump into bed. Yes that would be so hot says Chloe and that way you couldn’t chase after Crusader Girl. I am so turned on by the way you rent a hotel room to get lucky like some loser who just went to prom. Why do you even care says Billy? Because your daughter is about to find out if she has a sibling. Then she blast Billy about how not thinking or caring about anyone including his best friend Raul. Your best man says Chloe. You were just about to poach his fiancé when I called him she answers. She’s not his fiancé says Billy she gave the ring back. Of course Chloe wasn’t aware of that bit of news. Billy tells her so there is no engagement, no ring no nothing OK? He’s a jerk about it too. Wow and then here comes Chloe barging in says Chloe with perfect timing. So what are you going to do seal the deal, just wait for the paternity and if you are the winner you already got your prize even though you had to lie to get it asks Chloe. I didn’t lie to Mac says Billy. There was nothing to tell her says Billy. Not yet says Chloe. No but you could tell me about Sharon says a very hurt Chloe. But that’s because I know who you are. Mac loves you and when she looks at you she has all this hope and all this trust about how things could be different. It’ll be different this time says Billy. But not with me says Chloe. What are you going to do chase after her asks Chloe or stick around and find out if you are a Dad again? Billy opens the door and just leaves, leaving Chloe standing there.

Sharon is back at the chapel and she’s having a meltdown over Nick being so hurt and in such pain over Summer and Sharon begs God for a sign to tell her what to do. It would kill Nick if I force him to pick me over Phyllis and Summer. She vows to do whatever it takes to assure Nick’s happiness and pain free.

The doctor doesn’t have good news. Not only is Summer in a coma the doctor is now worried about brain damage. Phyllis wants to go with her when they do this test but the doctor says no and assures Phyllis that she won’t feel a thing. Phyllis tells Nick everyone is gone so he doesn’t have to be nice to her. She knows he hates her for what happened to Summer. Nick is seems shocked by this comment by Phyllis. Phyllis goes through the whole thing about how this is all her fault. Nick tells her he’s not going to let her do this. She did the right thing, she gave her the shot, she called the paramedics she did the right things. Nick tells her to listen to him that she saved Summer’s life. She says she didn’t save her life because she can’t wake up. Nick tells her I don’t know what you think I think, but I’m not going to let you do this. I’m not going to let you push me away. He is holding Phyllis again. She says she’s not trying to push him away. Nick holds on to her and tells her again he’s not going to let her do this and Sharon once again is watching all this play out.

Adam kicks something under the bed and there is a knock at the door. It’s Heather. She tells him she just saw his Dad and Ashley downstairs and they look upset. Adam grabs Heather and practically mauls her. Where’d that come from Heather asks? (if you only knew). He pulls her to him and it’s off to the races for some serious love making by Adam. I guess he has to use Heather to get Rafe off his mind.

Ashley hears part of a conversation that Victor has just had and it passes it off as an employee wanting to do things on her own without supervision. Ashley gives Victor the strokes about that being wrong and what an honor it is to work for him. That’s not a good idea she says. It ain’t is it says Victor with humor. Victor says he is glad Ashley thinks it’s such an honor to work for him and that she’ll come around. Ashley says her baby is hungry. She’s having some yogurt. Victor calls Mary Jane and gets her voicemail. He doesn’t leave a message. Victor tells Ashley he now has some business to take care of when she comes back with her yogurt.

Nick tells Phyllis that she is not going to run she’s going to listen to him. He goes through the whole story about how when he first saw Summer in the bed he thought it was Cassie. And how he’d let everyone down back then. He says he froze when Cassie died. All the people that needed him and trusted him he let them down. I wasn’t strong or supportive he tells Phyllis. I was nothing, useless back then. Phyllis remembers and says you weren’t useless. Nick tells Phyllis that he has to do this time for her and Summer and for himself. I have to be here every step of the way every moment of fear and relief he tells Phyllis. Summer shouldn’t go through this at all says Phyllis. Neither should you says Nick. You are not going anywhere and neither am I says Nick. I have to do this says Nick OK. If I don’t I’ll be lost inside forever and I might as well be dead. I don’t think I can come back from this again says Nick. You can push me all you want but I am not going anywhere. Phyllis touches Nick faces and says hush. Then she regains her composure and says she needs to fix her face she doesn’t want Summer to see her like this if she wakes up. Not if says Nick but when she wakes up. When says Phyllis. Sharon has been outside watching this and hides as Phyllis leave but Nick seems to have an eerie feeling and turns and sees Sharon outside the door. He turns and sees her and she just walks away. Nick catches up with her and she says they will find out later and right now what is important is his daughter and Phyllis and he needs to be there with them. Phyllis meets Summer’s bed as she’s coming back from her test and Nick joins her. Sharon already knows the test results. Nick is the Father and it’s a baby girl. She couldn’t wait to find out so she opened the envelope. But Nick doesn’t know that right now.

Jack tells Billy that Sharon doesn’t want her to be the Father of his baby. The loveable screw up Billy. He tells him when he gets older the lovable part goes away and he’s just a screw up period and from where I sit he tells Billy you are almost there. Once you get there Jack tells him, you are no use to anyone.

Chloe and Mac have a talk when she comes back to get her cell she forgot and Chloe is still there. Chloe accuses her of coming back for Billy and she wants to know why Chloe’s still there? Chloe tells her that Billy is looking for her. They are like the last act of one of those romantic movies. Star crossed lovers. You must be the one waiting on him says Mac you are the one who barged in. Chloe comments that she ruined their big night of consummation after years of frustration. Mac tells her she can spew her business with Billy to anyone within ear shot but when it comes to her personal business that’s off limits. We are still married says Chloe. So you are with my husband and that is my business says Chloe. OK I get it you still want Billy says Mac. No I don’t says Chloe. You drag Raul back here with a fake emergency so I wouldn’t go near Billy. I didn’t chase your husband he came after me adds Mac. You sent all the right signals to keep him coming back says Chloe. No you couldn’t be honest and say I want you too you had to do that nice girl things says Chloe. What is so nice about jerking a guy around like that? Not just Billy but Raul adds Chloe. You just made a whole fuss over you were in love with him and he’s be the one now and look that’s all over already. Why do you care if you don’t want Billy asks Mac? Because I love him says Chloe. I love him with all his faults. His quirks, his major hang ups. I love him. Billy and I will never be together says Chloe because I see him for what he is and he hates it. When you look at him, you just want to fix him, heal him like all those people in Darfur says Chloe. But that’s not what he needs continues Chloe, he doesn’t need food or water or shelter. He needs to get a grip on reality and deal with what’s really going on and get the fantasy out of his head. You love him because you think you can make him a better person. You want to change him and I don’t get it because if you’re so smart, that’s just not the way love is.

That was some hello says Heather. Do you want to stay for dessert and a drink. Heather says she’d love to but she’s working on a brief. Adam wants to know if it’s on Estella. Heather says it’s not and if she didn’t have a deadline she’d stay all night. I ran over here when you called and I was happy to do it says Heather. I do need you more than you know says Adam. How do you know exactly what to say coos Heather? She tells him she loves him and there is more kissing.

Heather and Ashley run into each other on her way out and she asks about Estella’s case. Heather says Rafe is a good lawyer but he’s letting his personal feelings obscure his view of reality. (Now that sounds like you and Adam Heather). Trust me continues Heather, we are closing in on whoever is doing this to you.

Rafe calls Adam. He wants to know how he’s doing. He says he wasn’t very convincing and it was his fault. About what he aid earlier, I was trying to give you space Adam but it might have come off sounding detached. What I didn’t say is those feelings you were talking about, It’s not just you. I have them too. Adam almost looks defeated at this point.

Victor gets someone to let him into Mary Jane’s room. He looks around and she’s not there. But he sees Kitty and waves his hand in front of the cats face and realizes it’s stuffed. He gets the most bizarre look on his face.

The doctor tells Nick and Phyllis he can’t rule out permanent brain damage for Summer. How bad can it be asks Nick. The doctor says he wont’ know for awhile and we have to take it one day at a time. I will do everything I can for your daughter. Phyllis is destroyed she says Summer has the most beautiful smile. Please let her smile again and run and play. Please make sure she knows we love her. Please God Please don’t take our little girl.

Jack and Billy discuss the fact that Sharon should know the results now. Billy quips that he hasn’t got a phone call. Jack says he hasn’t either so it must be Nick’s baby. He must have got his wish Jack adds. Sharon walks in about that time and says sorry I need to say this in person. I find out the baby’s Father and she tells Billy he will be a good Uncle to him that Jack is the Father and it’s a baby girl. Mary Jane of course is hidden around a corner and hears this news as well.

NEXT ON THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS:

Her baby says Phyllis to Nick. It’s not even yours adds Phyllis. Nick looks shocked.

You reimburse me, Gloria and Jill for every dime we lost says Jeffrey to Victor.

I think Cane’s involved somehow says Nina to Neil and I’m worried about Lily.

Nick and Sharon finally get the results of the paternity test today. Actually Sharon does. Nick is on the phone and Sharon is at the hospital with the results. He says he will meet her at the chapel. Nick told her earlier that he was sorry he never was there for her when Cassie died and he’d always be there for now. And while he’s happy they are together he wishes they could do all of this without hurting so many people. Nick is delayed getting to the hospital and Sharon finally can’t resist after praying for Nick to be the Father she finally gives in to her overwhelming desire to know and Nick is the Father and they also find out it’s a baby girl. Sharon talks to Cassie and tells her she was right. That her and Nick really would have another baby girl and she can’t wait to see the look on her Daddy’s face when she tells him. She also tells Cassie this must mean that Cassie is at peace finally and happy.

Jack comes by Restless Style and him and Phyllis have a talk about today being paternity day and he wanted her to know. They talk about when they did this with Summer and Phyllis tells Jack that karma is hell and she knows how Sharon felt now but kind of cuts herself off. Jack says lets hope it goes in his favor this time and Phyllis apologizes to Jack for making this just about her. She hopes it goes Jack’s way too.

Mary Jane is at Restless Style and she tells Phyllis that her and Nick were happy in that picture. Phyllis says they were. Summer comes back from day camp with some jewelry she made for Phyllis and Mary Jane says she’s jealous and asks Summer to make her one too. Phyllis notices some cookies that Summer is reaching for and checks them for peanuts and discovering they have peanuts in them tells Summer she had to ask adults before she eats anything. And she tosses the cookies in a trash can on the other side of the room. How they got there in the first place I am not sure. Anyway later Mary Jane tells Summer that her Mommy is not happy and Auntie Mary Jane has to figure out a way to make her Mommy happy so that she doesn’t have to cry on Uncle Jack’s shoulder so much. Later as Jack and Mary Jane are getting ready to leave and go and have dinner, (they need to come up with a plan to help Phyllis be happy was Mary Jane’s reason for dinner), Mary Jane eats some of those cookies. She takes it out of the trash can and then she tells Summer to give Auntie Mary Jane a big kiss goodbye. Right on the lips that have the cookies with peanuts in them that transfer to Summer lips. Later when Phyllis is ready to leave she calls for Summer to come to her and when she doesn’t she finds Summer unconscious on the floor. She freaks and starts screaming for help. She does call the paramedics but we don’t see that part. Finally she calls Nick, who is still all warm and fuzzy from his conversation with Sharon over the paternity of their baby. Nick answers to Phyllis who tells him that Summer is in shock and Nick tells her to call 9-1-1 and she says she has the paramedics are there and she gave her the epi pen but it didn’t work and Summer is in shock. She tells Nick she threw the cookies out then says she thought she threw the cookies out. She did toss them I saw her and Mary Jane has taken them out of the trash but nobody knows that yet.

Billy spent his day with Mac. He texted her and said it was urgent and Mac shows up at Room 437 at the GCAC and there is Billy. He’s ordered dinner for her with all her favorites. She isn’t going to stay until he mentions all her favorites one by one and she weakens and stays with him. They have dinner and Billy asks her if she loves Raul. She says Yeah but not…and he finishes the sentence for her and says not like you love me. Billy is in 1st class pig mode today I have to say. Mac is falling for it hook line and sinker, since she reveals to Billy finally that it’s always been him. Billy says they only have one chance usually with the one person they want to be with and they’ve been given a second chance to go for it. That’s when they hit the bed. But Chloe has been calling Billy and she runs into Mary Jane and Jack and Jack says he’s been looking for Billy too, to let him know that today is paternity test day. Chloe tells Jack it’s not her day to watch her hubby. Try Jimmy’s and Jack says he checked there and no Billy so Chloe says sorry can’t help you. Chloe has been taking pictures of Delia and sending them to Billy and told Delia earlier that he should have got them by now. So Chloe’s Mom calls and Chloe tells Delia Grandma is coming to take her so she can go and work out and maybe she will treat herself to a nice dinner too. Chloe walks over to the bar and orders a water and a waiter comes up bragging about the big tip he got from Mr. Abbott in Room #437. Billy and Mac are on the bed and Chloe is pounding on the door. And she isn’t backing off. Billy finally goes and answers the door, not knowing he’s been tracked down by Chloe. Mac jumps up and is adjusting her clothes. Chloe says she’s sorry she interrupted but she thought Billy might like to know if Delia is going to have a little brother or sister. Mac says are you pregnant again? Chloe says oh no this is with Sharon Billy’s sister-in-law or technically ex-sister-in-law depending on when they did it and then she asks Billy was she the ex Billy and you can see the blood drain out of his face and Mac isn’t much better to be honest. Billy is such a rat he deserved for Mac to find out this way and I’m sure she is so in love with Billy she will forgive him but Chloe sure did his little night of pleasure in for sure.

Victor stops by to tell Adam that he has a meeting and wants to know if he needs anything. Adam asks how the hearing went and he says Estella is out on bail and she has a restraining order against her. Adam tells Victor he thought he heard him talking to someone earlier outside his window. He says no he went for a walk and he was along. Adam says he was sure he’d heard him talking. Then he mentions Ashley and Victor tells him that Ashley isn’t home either she’s gone into town for dinner and shopping. Then he asks if Adam will be OK alone to which Adam says he will be fine. After Victor is gone Adam takes the box of Sabrina’s dress and the wig her used to scare Ashley out from under his bed. He talks to Hope. How’d you cope he asks her? Not being bitter about being blind. I’m not that strong he tells her. If you saw me now you’d be disappointed. I never meant to hurt Ashley’s baby says Adam. But Victor lied to me. I heard him talking to someone. (No Adam you are lying you saw him talking to someone). Get your facts straight. Anyway, He tells Hope that he tells Ashley he loves her yet he plots against her brother. I get the twisted, warped part of me from my Father he tells Hope. He is looking at the wig and dress and he tells Hope he’s even forbidden to lock his door now. This box has to go to a safe place. Rafe knocks on the door and Adam scrambles around trying to find a place to shove the box with the dress and wig back in there now. Rafe is there to talk about his Aunt. Adam says there is a lot of evidence against her and Rafe says someone at the ranch is setting her up and anyone could have done this. Well who would do that asks Adam. I don’t know says Rafe you tell me. You think I set her up asks Adam? Others do too says Rafe. Like who says Adam. Nick, Victoria and Rafe says Nikki Newman. Adam says Nikki Newman hates me like all Newman’s hate me. They blame me for world hunger the auto industry it’s all my fault. It’s ridiculous says Adam. I don’t know if you know this but I can barely see my hand in front of my face now. Victor had me see another specialists. Rafe you know me, you know I’m not capable…My Aunt is not capable says Rafe. OK says Adam, I left here and cut off the head of the statue and I disable the thing attached to my leg and I take Sabrina’s scrapbook and I make it to the hospital. I drive…Blind says Adam. I must have super powers says Adam. Not if you had someone help you says Rafe. I only associate with Heather and she’s the assistant DA, are you accusing her asks Adam? I don’t know says Rafe, maybe it’s someone you met in prison. OK like a pal who owed me a favor. You obviously paid him says Rafe. With what says Adam cigarettes? I have nothing. Victor returned all the money from the diary to the publisher. I’m broke says Adam. Well then if you have nothing to hide you don’t mind if I look around a little bit says Rafe. Rafe opens the closet. I thought Adam stuck the box under his bed but there is the box on the floor under some things in the closet, or one just like it anyway. Adam looks panicked. Stop says Adam. Victor don’t care about my privacy but you Rafe. Listen to me that hurts me that you would think these things of me. We don’t just have a lawyer/client relationship. There’s something there that’s deeper he tells Rafe. That’s special as he touches Rafe’s chest then touches his lips slightly with his hand and says I’m feeling something, don’t you? Rafe is supposed to be the gay character on this show but he looks horrified and shocked. Maybe we need to jab him with Summer’s epi pen as he looks totally in shock. Not to mention, and I do realize Adam is desperate and is only playing Rafe, I was disgusted by the direction they have taken Adam’s character. None of this was necessary. We already know that Adam is a low life that will do about anything to have his way but even for Adam this was a big step and just isn’t believable to this viewer. I can't believe that even Adam would use sex with a man to get himself out of this mess but that's why they pay writers and not me. I just get to complain.

As Mary Jane and Jack enter the dining room they run into Victor. Jack quips have you closed down any banks lately and Victor comes back with tell me where your money is and he’d help that bank close too or something along those line. Mary Jane is introduced by Jack and she calls him by his first name Victor then tries to cover and say they’d met before and goes on and on about when, where and how and makes a fool of herself really. Something about exposing a corrupt CEO. When Mary Jane and Jack get to the room she asks him if he wants an after dinner drink. He says he does and she sends him off for some ice. She calls Victor and informs him that she has Jack right where she wants him. Victor informs her that that was a ridiculous attempt at a power play earlier and it was laughable. I want you to understand that your job is to get Jack where I want him. And you remember that.

Victor also runs into Nick and Sharon and Nick tells Victor they are waiting on the paternity results today. Victor says he could have handled the meeting if he’d a just said something. He tells Sharon she looks wonderful and also tells her that she is family when Sharon says she’s happy that Victor doesn’t’ look down on her.

Phyllis says she should have prepared for what was coming with Nick but she didn’t. She tells Jack that she went to see Nick about Daniel’s bail and they were in their room and…she can’t finish. Jack says why didn’t you come to me. You can always come to me and count on me. Mary Jane is hearing this and that’s when she goes over and takes a cookie out of the trash.

NEXT ON THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS:

Billy is tongue-tied and trying to explain to Mac what happened with Sharon and what Chloe is talking about when Chloe quips “Oh actually he tripped and fell on top of her when she was naked”. (Good one Chloe)

Adam is on the phone and Rafe is talking to him. Rafe tells Adam, “What you talked about earlier, it’s not just you, I feel that way too. Adam looks a little bewildered now.

Victor calls Victoria and asks to see her right away. Ashley comes along and says she’s going out again. Victor says that’s fine as long as she stays away from the courthouse. Estella is being charged today and is having her bail hearing. Victor is still not convinced about Estella as Ashley tells him the case against Estella is air tight with the box, the tape recorder and her access to the ranch. Adam comes walking in from the outside. (You hear Jack’s voice say that the part of Adam will now be played by this new guy who personally I think is not that great but it’s his first day). He’s always had to use the window before. Victor asks him what’s he’s been doing outside and he tells him he felt like the walls were closing in on him. He said he didn’t get to sleep until 3 a.m. last night. Victor again apologizes to Adam about the bad news he got from Dr. Donahue but assures Adam that he will leave no stone unturned in trying to find a cure for his disease.

Nikki still can’t believe that Victor had Estella arrested when she’s a perfectly decent woman that’s being framed by Adam. JT wants to know if they have anything solid on Adam and Nikki says no. But when she does that Adam is going to pay. Nikki tells Victoria and JT that she’s going to court to show her support for Estella.

Noah sees Rafe at the coffeehouse and approaches him about being emancipated from his parents. Rafe tells Noah that even if he has a job and shows he can support himself and he has a place to live it’s very hard to get emancipated from his parents. He goes tells Noah to come by his office later he’s got to get to court and they will talk about it.

Nick calls Noah to meet him and Sharon at the GCAC. Noah says he will come. Sharon asks Nick if he’s sure about the house on Lampart Lane. Nick says he is and once they find out about the paternity of the baby they can settle in. Sharon says do you still believe the baby I am carrying is yours, the one that Cassie predicted? Yes says Nick.

Mary Jane is visiting with Kitty again and tells him it’s OK. That sometimes they (Jack) just need a little nudge. There is a knock a the door and Mary Jane puts Kitty away and in comes Jack. You said we have some important Jabot business to take care of says Jack? Mary Jane is taking her clothes off and she says well isn’t keeping the CEO of the company happy a very important business matter? Jack doesn’t turn it down for sure.

JT tells Nikki it couldn’t have been easy for Adam to pull this off even with 20/20 vision. And there is the matter of the ankle bracelet. He can’t go too far. Nikki says he could have an accomplice. JT says they’d have to have a hell of a lot of anger to mutilate the statue of a dead Mother and child. Nikki says he had to have a lot of anger to frame his own Father for murder with that diary. Victoria says this is all so disgusting it’s like he spit on Sabrina’s grave. She says she’s going for a refill and lets change the subject by the time she gets back. Nikki sort of gives JT the what the hell is going on look and JT explains that she’s been emotional the last few days. Well yesterday was Victor and Sabrina’s anniversary says Nikki. She probably has memories. Well her and Victor had words too says JT. Victoria thought he was dumping her portrait and the statue of Sabrina and the baby so he can concentrate solely on Ashley. Well Ashley and this child are the center of his universe says Nikki but he carries the weight of the past with him everyday.

Victor tells Ashley he remembers when Hope said she was pregnant and she was happy. Were you happy asks Ashley? No says Victor. Were you afraid the baby would inherit her disease? Yes says Victor. Look at Adam now and his hopes just got slimmer. I can’t believe he was attacked in prison like he was says Ashley. I promised Hope I’d look out for him and I failed says Victor. That ridiculous says Ashley you found him a cutting edge doctor and you spent millions on an entire company to ensure him a spot in the stem cell program. All too late now says Victor. Meanwhile his vision is becoming less and less. I know it’s all very sad says Ashley but Adam is a survivor like you. He will adjust she adds. Right now says Victor he’s a very angry man.

Adam says Heather. Thank God you are here says Adam. You sounded almost incoherent on the phone says Heather. Did Victor hassle you about seeing me again asks Adam. No says Heather she came up the back way. Adam apologizes for yesterday when she was almost thrown out so Adam could see Dr. Donahue. Heather says she had to be in court. Adam says he’s going blind like it’s the first time he’s heard that news and Heather says that’s nothing we didn’t know. Adam tells Heather the story of the inmates sticking needles in his eyes and now causing his blindness to be irreversible. Heather tries to tell him he’s in good home and Adam says Victor keeps accusing him of gas lighting Ashley and now he can’t even lock his own door. That’s how much Victor trusts me Adam whines to Heather. I bet he wishes now he’d a got me out sooner now.

Victor tells Victoria that he didn’t mean to hurt her yesterday. It’s hard for me says Victoria and Victor says it’s hard for him too. But Ashley has to look at that picture everyday. Victor asks Victoria if she’s still interested in the Newman Art Foundation that Sabrina started and if she’d rebuild his collection. Sabrina introduced me to modern art he tells Victoria as they share a few smiles over the collection that Sabrina had shown him and how unusual and odd they were. He asks Victoria to take this project on to keep Sabrina’s legacy alive.

Estella says this is such a nightmare to Nikki. She says she keeps hoping that she will wake up from it. You and Sabrina were always so kind to me. Nikki says that Ashley is frightened and misguided right now. I try to be good, I go to church, why would she do this to me she asks Nikki? Because you are trying to drive me insane says Ashley as she has walked up and over heard part of this conversation. You tried to make me believe Sabrina was haunting me. I didn’t I’m innocent says Estella. The evidence says otherwise says Ashley. Nikki asks Ashley if she thinks it’s a good idea that she is there in her condition? I am going to make sure she is dealt with so I can get my life back says Ashley. Someone is punishing me. Estella was setup says Nikki. You sure of that says Ashley? Yes I am says Nikki. Adam has more reason to hurt Victor and his family than Estella does says Nikki. Adam is almost completely blind now Ashley reminds Nikki. Not all blind people wear halos says Nikki. He’s been looking out for me and my child for months now and I don’t want to hear a bad word against him says Ashley.

Adam tells Heather it can’t get worse no matter what they do. Then cry, scream, yell says Heather, do what you have to do to pull yourself together. You have your entire future ahead of you. Thanks to Victor all I can hear is the clock winding down until all that’s left is a black pit says Adam. No matter how much you hate Victor says Heather, you have a wonderful home and the best medical care possible. I’m a prisoner says Adam. That may be says Heather but some day you will get paroled, the monitor will come off and I will be standing here with open arms. Why would you want me says Adam? I am useless. No you are a beautiful, talented young man who can still have a full life says Heather. And I want you because I love you says Heather. And they kiss….

Jack and Mary Jane are complimenting each other on their bedroom activities. Mary Jane can’t catch her breath and Jack says he’ll take that as a compliment. I know you said that this was nothing serious says Mary Jane but I want you to know I’m falling for you. I know you just got divorced not long ago and you are close with Phyllis, but is there a chance for us asks Mary Jane? Sharon is with Nick now and Phyllis and I are just friends. You are the only woman that I want to be with says Jack. Mean it asks Mary Jane? More than anything I ever said says Jack. But unfortunately for Mary Jane she’s just dreaming this. They are in bed and she’s complaining about how busy he is and phone calls and says who is it Phyllis? He checks his phone and it’s office, office and Ashley canceling their lunch date. And why would you think it’s Phyllis? Well you do spend lots of time together and her son is in trouble. How do you know that says Jack? Less talk and more action says Mary Jane. Stop says Jack…..

Noah does meet with a glowing Nick and Sharon and he is not impressed and he tells them he doesn’t want to live with them. He even tells them he wants to be emancipated. He tells them how they have changed their minds like every other day. Sharon assures him that they are in this for the long haul this time. Nick tells him they are buying this house so they can all be together as a family. So much room for you, Mom and Dad, Summer and Fisher and the new baby. We will have a fresh start. Noah’s not buying it and says he doesn’t want Summer to end up like him. And Sharon reminds Noah that he wanted to help with the new baby. Just another kid for you two to screw up says Noah. Nick says he belongs with them and Noah says it’s not going to happen. What are you going to do stay with Grandpa and mooch off of him? That’s when Noah tells him he can take care of himself and he’s filing for emancipation. They tell Noah that’s not as easy as he thinks and he says he’s aware of that. Sharon says well it’s not like you have been abused or something. You have two parents who love you. Isn’t family therapy a better place to start says Sharon. That won’t help says Noah. But over reacting will she asks? Nick wants to know if this is really about his issues with them or if this is more about his girlfriend Eden. That is so not it says Noah. Really says Sharon so the idea of having Eden over if you had your own apartment never occurred to you? This is not about Eden but if she wanted to move in that would be great. She gets me says Noah. You guys don’t have a clue adds Noah.

Adam tells Heather he loves her even if he doesn’t always act like it. Heather tells him that she loves him too. Adam tells her she’s the only person in the world that he can trust. Heather tells him she’s sorry for all his pain and she wishes that she could make it easier. You already have says Adam, how many people would have stood by me like you have. I don’t know how to tell you how grateful I am Adam says….

Look says Ashley Estella had access and motive. All the evidence points to her. Short of a confession what do you want asks Ashley. Rafe steps in and says he wants Justice for his Aunt. The so-called evidence is a joke he tells Ashley. Rafe the box had her fingerprints on it says Ashley. That’s because the same box she delivered two days earlier was used by someone to send you that statue says Rafe. You are going to have to prove that says Ashley. I intend to says Rafe and then the charges will be thrown out. But nothing will compensate her for the humiliation and emotional stress that you and Victor have caused her. See you in court says Rafe and walks off. Thank you says Nikki and then adds after you Ashley….

I’m sorry about yesterday says Victoria to Victor. I thought you were throwing out Sabrina’s portrait. I would never do that says Victor. Things aren’t always what they seems says Victor. This gesture with the art foundation shows me you understand says Victoria. She was my wife and your best friend says Victor. I’m going to make Sabrina so proud says Victoria as she hugs Victor. I am sure you will says Victor.

JT thanks Victor for asking Victoria to carry on Sabrina’s work. That will make her very happy he adds. I hope so says Victor with some doubt on his face. I certainly hope so. Hope things are calming down here says Victor. I heard Estella was arrested. Yes for terrorizing Ashley says Victor. JT says Nikki filled them in. She’s convinced that Estella was framed says JT. Well she thinks it’s Adam says Victor. Have you checked out the rest of the staff asks JT? No says Victor but you mentioned to me on the night of the art switch you were late because you caught an intruder and I wanted to ask you about that. JT goes over it and tells him the story that Mary Jane Benson had told him and calls her by name. He mentions also that Paul says he had ask her a question and she went nuts and had a restraining order slapped on him and Victor said he’d heard about that. JT says he’ll check her visits out right now. He finds out that Mary Jane has been hanging out at the ranch quite a bit. JT wants to know if Victor wants him to check into her and Victor says no, he will handle it from here.

Mary Jane wants to know if Jack wants to work from home and he tells her he thinks she’s too big a distraction. He does tell her before he leaves that he wants to make sure they are on the same page as far as their relationship goes. This is fun and games Jack tells Mary Jane. You mean Sex Mary Jane responds. OK if you want to be blunt yes sex agrees Jack. You said yourself you understand this is not serious. I don’t want you to get hurt. I have no intentions of getting hurt says Mary Jane. Ok great says Jack. I have a meeting at Restless Style, will I see you later? Yep they will see each other later. Once Jack is gone Mary Jane take Kitty back out and tells Kitty it’s happening I can feel it. I just have to take it slow until he realizes that he can’t live without me.

Well does giving us the silent treatment make you mature enough to live alone? We are not making fun of you. Well you sure aren’t taking me serious says Noah. Just like you never took me and Eden seriously adds Noah. That’s not true says Nick. You two are such hypocrites you got married when you were teenagers says Noah and Sharon says and if we had that to do over again we’d take it slower. Son, says Nick, please stop trying to grow up so quickly. You had a baby when you were my age he tells Sharon. I’ll never regret having Cassie says Sharon, but I wasn’t ready like you aren’t ready to move out on your own. Being an adult is hard man adds Nick. I know you are disappointed in us says Sharon. But we have lived longer than you Noah and we’ve picked up a few things along the way adds Nick. And getting emancipated is just running from your problems Sharon adds. Go ahead says Noah turn it around on me. Every teen thinks he has all the answers says Sharon. Believe us you still need your parents says Nick. You guys are too screwed up to run your own lives let alone mine. Jack walked up behind them just as Noah says this. He hears Noah and he’s all ears.

The bail hearing for Estella goes well. Rafe tells the court she is a woman of limited means, she’s unemployed at the time, she’s not a flight risk and the evidence against her is circumstantial. Heather has no objections to limited bail as long as Estella honors the restraining order and doesn’t contact the Newman’s or attempt to go on their property. The Judge asks her if she can do that and Estella says yes. The Judge sets her bail at $5000. Rafe tells Estella that he will post bond and have her out of there in an hour. Ashley comes right up to Estella and threatens her. You might be free right now but don’t you dare try anything says Ashley. I am on to you she adds like really evil. Estella looks really frightened by her. Now a deputy did witness this and did nothing.

Victor calls Mary Jane and tells her he needs to see her right away. No he says he won’t come to her place she can come to his. She is to come to the ranch and the guards will show her the back way in and she’s to meet him back by the garden area. Adam is coming down the stairs about this time and of course he hears the whole conversation.

Jack asks Nick and Sharon if they mind if he talks to Noah and he promises Noah no speeches. He tells him there are a lot of kids who’d love to see their parents back together and Noah says their parents aren’t a couple of flakes. Jack says this is a big step and he should really think about it and asks him to just take a few weeks and let things play out and see if they get better and he feels any different. Jack tells Noah they have made mistakes but they love him. Noah tells Jack that Sharon hurt him (Jack) and he says she didn’t mean to and Noah says she said she loved you and Jack counters with she does in the only way she can. Noah says will you tell my parents that I had to take off? Jack says he will and walks over towards their table.

Victoria and JT talk about her new art project and JT says there are rules. She can’t meet anyone in a dark alley because he doesn’t’ want to visit her in the hospital and Victoria says she doesn’t want to be in the hospital. My spy days are over. (That’s what you think Victoria). Anyway she tells JT she plans to bid on modern art pieces that Sabrina tried to get but couldn’t. Now a private party has them for sale. They are pieces by Jim Koontz hope that is spelled right if not somebody change it.

Ashley is so desperate she even goes to Heather and wants to know why she didn’t try harder for a higher bail. Well it’s like Rafe says, says Heather, she’s not a flight risk, she has no priors and as long as she doesn’t violate the circumstances of the restraining order things should be fine. But if she does violate the conditions of the restraining order she will revoke her bail and have her in jail so fast her head will spin.

Nikki tells Ashley it was a crime this hearing happened at all to a decent woman. It’s all because her and Victor couldn’t see beyond the obvious. For some reason Ashley wasn’t snippy with Nikki she seems to have heard what she said this time. But with Ashley who knows what goes on in her head for sure. For all I know Ashley could be setting up Estella herself to just get rid of her because she don’t like her. Time will tell but we have seen Adam doing things to Ashley so it will take a lot of convincing to make me believe it’s not Adam or that someone else actually did these things to Ashley. I’d rather believe Ashley did herself in and is nuts.

Victor asks Mary Jane if she knows why she is there? She says no. Victor tells her she’s broken the boundaries of the past. You have been on my property you insinuated yourself into my family and you stabbed me in the back. Do you think I am going to let you get away with this?

Nikki and Rafe are having a conversation about Adam. Nikki tells Rafe Adam lied to me. Rafe says that Adam couldn’t have done this he’s blind. She tells him about Victor being gone and Adam told her Ashley wasn’t home and then she found out later that Ashley was home. He’s even in Ashley’s good graces and she’s defending him now says Nikki. Rafe tells Nikki that’s really not that great of evidence. Nikki says well wait until you hear this, Sabrina’s voice just came booming out of Adam’s computer. What did he say asks Rafe. He said somebody did it just to make him look bad what the hell else is he going to say? Is that why, on the day that Victor took my prints and my Aunt’s that he took Adam’s too? Yes says Nikki. So Victor doesn’t trust him completely either says Rafe? Of course not says Nikki. Rafe you defended him in the diary case you mean to tell me that you don’t think it’s possible that Adam is gas lighting Ashley if it served his own purposes? Nikki now has Rafe’s attention.

Does this look familiar asks Victor of Mary Jane? Well there is a tree if you’ve seen one tree you’ve seen them all she quips. There was a statue here of my ex-wife and her unborn baby continues Victor who is not at all amused by Mary Jane’s flippant remarks. It was viciously mutilated says Victor. You suspect me of doing it says Mary Jane? Adam is hiding behind some bushes listening to every word of course. Victor why would I and Victor interrupts her. Mary Jane I brought you here for one reason and that’s to keep an eye on Jack Abbot. That’s all you do you got that says Victor? Adam perks right up and smiles when he hears old Smiling Jack’s name and he looks pretty delighted over having some dirt over Victor and Mary Jane. God only knows who he will use it against at this point. I can never out think him.

As Jack approaches Nick and Sharon’s table she is just getting off the phone. It’s the nurse she has the paternity results and she wants to see them right away. Well when says Nick well now she says. How’d it go with Noah asks Nick? I think I calmed him down a little and got through to him says Jack. I know you hope this baby is Nick’s says Jack to Sharon and I hope you get your wish he says and just walks away leaving Nick and Sharon to just look at each other.

NEXT ON THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS:

Adam who has his hands on Rafe says…”I have feelings, don’t you’? Rafe looks horrified. (I have to say that for the gay guy (Rafe) he looked scared to death in comparison to Adam who we have always known as a straight guy, but that’s just my opinion).

Ashley stops by a photo shoot to see Abby. I had no idea she was in a photo shoot but Noah is also part of this photo shoot and Ashley tells Abby she looks wonderful and they hug and she says she loves her.

Michael encourages Kevin to continue his silver chipmunk speaking tour at the high schools and other places. Kevin can’t help but believe that the less said about the silver chipmunk the better chance Jana has of making bail. Jana says she can’t believe she’s back there again. It’s like the last year never happened. She said she promised to wear her ring forever and it was gone from her finger now and Kevin assures her she will be wearing her ring again soon.

Eden stops by to see Noah. He tells her she should do it too. She says yes like Abby is going to let me in there. Noah asks her to come by the magazine.
Daniel tells Amber that Kevin is right. I do need to clear my name so Jana gets home. Amber suggests they do a grudge list to try and figure out who might have it out for Daniel. Daniel wonders if there is someone who hates him enough to do this.

Heather comes by the ranch to see Adam. Victor tells her it will be a short visit since Adam’s seeing the eye doctor today. Dr. Donahue shows up about that time and Victor asks Heather to tell Adam the doctor is here.

Adam is on the phone with Dr. Taylor trying to get more botox to inject before his examination by Dr. Donahue. Dr. Taylor tells him he’s in surgery and Adam tells him to forget the stupid surgery and get over there with his botox. He needs it now. Heather makes it to his room, I am surprised she didn’t hear Adam shouting at Dr. Taylor. Adam vents to Heather about this examination He says Zapato has more freedom than he does. Heather says she knows the monitor is frustrating. Adam begs her to help him find a way to get that monitor off him so they can be together forever, away from his Father.

Daniel can’t think of anyone who hates him enough to set him up for murder. It’s not the run of the mill stalker they are really after me. It might not have nothing to do with you says Amber. Then he mentions Alex and Amber wants to know who that is and Kevin hears the name and says he hasn’t heard that name in quite a while. Daniel says they have a video of him assaulting Jana.

Michael talks to Eden and says congratulations on your grades. She says she misses her Dad but she finally has a real home with you. Michael says he imagines that Noah helped make it easier. He thanks her for helping Kevin get the silver chipmunk things going at the school and she says she just wanted to help. Michael says as serious as things seem at times with Noah don’t be in a rush to grow up. We like having you around for as long as you like.

Ashley and Abby talk about how hot she looks and if she’s having fun and then Ashley mentions Estella being gone and Abby warns Ashley not to trust Adam that he really creeps her out. Be careful she adds. Abby may be a self-centered but she can see through Adam it’s too bad someone else can’t.

Adam is grabbing his ankle bracelet and asks Heather to help him cut it off. Heather tells him to stop it. Why would you want to leave now when you have a reason to hope she asks. I’m on edge all the time Victor is always accusing me of harassing Ashley. Victor will see how wrong he’s been when the doctor examines you says Heather. I have to go I have to be at the courthouse. Victor walks in about that time and says the doctor is here. Why do you hate me asks Adam. You are just setting me up to fail. I owe it to you and your Mother it’s an opportunity she didn’t have. I’ll be downstairs with Dr. Donahue waiting says Victor and makes his exit.

The young girls from the high school say they enjoyed Kevin’s speech so much they have started a silver chipmunk club.

Adam starts down the stairs and he has himself a little panic attack and thinks in his mind what Victor will do to him when he finds out he’s been faking his illness. He hears the doctor telling Victor this has been a huge waste of time and that Adam doesn’t have R/P or any other degenerative eye disease. His eyes are completely normal? You mean he’s been faking it all along says Victor? There is no other explanation says Dr. Donahue. I knew it, I knew it says Victor. He grabs Adam by the shirt and says you have been faking it all along, you have been torturing Ashley and her unborn child haven’t you? Haven’t you Victor shouts? I should kill you for that says Victor. But instead I’m going to let you rot in prison for the rest of your life. Adam gasps as he’s brought back to reality and he tries to go back upstairs. Son where are you going says Victor the doctor is waiting for you.

Kevin says now the Elks Club wants him to speak and Amber says Murphy probably had something to do with that. Michael says all these appearances will help Jana’s case. Michael says he has to see a Judge about bail. Daniel tails Michael to ask him a question. Amber tells Kevin how proud she is of him. Kevin says she helped by calling into that radio show. Amber tells Kevin they are making a grudge list to see who Daniel knows who would want to ruin their lives.

Daniel asks Michael about the cell phone that the fake Aucker had. Michael tells him they wont’ release the information from the phone until the discovery phase of the trial. He also warns him about people taking matters into their own hands. He tells Daniel not to do anything outside the confines of the law because any false move could get his bail revoked and he’d be sitting in the cell next to Jana. Daniel says he knows he was just saying and Michael is like right. He knows very well what Daniel is thinking.

Ashley gets back home and she says the baby is fine. She’s all better now that Estella has been caught. Ashley says she’s been to see Abby at the photo shoot and then Victor introduces her to Dr. Donahue who is examining Adam. About this time Dr. Donahue says this has been a waste of time. Adam has puncture wounds in both corneas. It appears Adam has been injecting something in his eyes.

Abby says she loves the photo shoot and having people do her hair and makeup everyday. He says you mean you don’t’ have that already. Grandpa’s great adds Noah. I hear Nick and your Mom are back together says Abby. They are getting their own place. Noah asks her if she can keep a secret. Then he tells Abby that he’s thinking of divorcing his parents.

Daniel says if they can ID the 3rd guy in the alley they got their killer and Jana is off the hook. How do we do that says Kevin. First we have to get the victims phone says Daniel. You mean the one the Feds have that has your name and number in it asks Kevin? That one says Daniel. How would we do that Kevin asks again. Well it would probably be in an evidence locker says Daniel. Oh so Michael can go in there and get it for us says Kevin? No not at all says Daniel. Then how says Kevin? No way in hell he says as he finally gets what Daniel is suggesting. Are you crazy he asks Daniel? Do it for the woman you love says Daniel.

What have you been doing demands Victor? The puncture wounds I saw says Dr. Donahue are the result of a hypodermic needle. Is that what you have been doing demands Victor? No says Adam I have no idea what he’s talking about. Is that why you didn’t want to see the doctor you were afraid you’d be caught says Victor? Is that it he adds. No it’s not true says Adam. What kind of sick monster are you asks Victor? You’re the one who has been torturing Ashley aren’t you? No it’s not true says Adam. Then what is true demands Victor? I’ve seen addicts try and hide their addiction this way says Dr. Donahue. I’m not a drug addict says Adam. Then what is it says Victor what are you? You tell me the truth otherwise I will have your ass hauled back to prison says Victor. That’s where it happened says Adam who is trying to think quickly. Don’t you BS me says Victor. I started to lose focus and I couldn’t see things, says Adam and other people noticed. I said don’t you BS me says Victor. Those sick animals I was forced to live with jumped me and they were taunting me about my blindness. It was like nothing I ever felt before in my life. I thought I was going to die says Adam. Are you saying they stabbed you in the eyes with hypodermic needles. Yes, well at the time I had no idea what was going on you know and with what Dr. Donahue just said Yeah that’s what they did says Adam. That’s what they did Adam repeats. Why didn’t you mention this before says Victor. I didn’t mention lots says Adam because I was always too afraid, I had to man up for you Adam goes on. You always told me I couldn’t show my weaknesses. Dr. Donahue could he have injected things into his eyes to fool other doctors asks Victor? My tests indicate Adam has been suffering from this disease for some time now.

I’ll save you a trip says Heather. I assume you are going to see the Judge about Jana’s bail. The Judge reviewed Jana’s case and feels there is not longer a viable reason to vacate her case. That case was closed over a year ago says Michael. Well it’s open now says Heather. Why do that there’s no grounds says Michael. That’s your opinion says Heather. Lets get through this case now says Michael and if Jana’s is not guilty, which she won’t be, then lets talk about her history.

Abby asks Noah why he’d want to divorce his parents. He says it’s called emancipation. He explains he’s sick of all the back and forth between his parents they are together today and want him to move in and be a family with them and tomorrow he’ll be back at the ranch with Grandpa. Abby thinks he’s crazy for doing it and then she blames Eden for what is going on and she has no clue what they are even talking about. She really puts Eden and her hippy life down. She tells Noah he’s going to regret doing this. He does apologize to Eden for Abby’s attitude but I was hoping Eden would deck her. Noah is now more interested in showing Eden his plaid boxers they made him wear for the photo shoot.

So there is no question that Adam has his Mother’s eye disease asks Victor? No there isn’t says Dr. Donahue the injections damaged the muscles and nerves so badly that he can’t even participate in the trials let alone benefit from the results. Nothing can be done then says Victor? The damage has been done says Dr. Donahue and the disease will now run it’s course says Dr. Donahue. And the outcome asks Victor? Permanent blindness says Dr. Donahue. I’m sorry he adds. Victor seems stunned and sits down and says so am I. Now Adam wasn’t expecting this diagnosis either. He thought he was doing the botox injections to fool now what should have been three doctors but instead he’s fooled himself into permanent blindness so while he’s won this round he’s lost his sight permanently. Or so saith this Dr. Donahue. He’s Victor’s guy so we should be able to trust his opinion unless of course Adam found a way to get to him first. He is his Father’s son.

Amber is on the internet and realizes she’s a celebrity. She had no idea. This woman is hot-hot-hot she reads. Give me more of Amber Moore, Give it up B-I-t-c-h she reads. Then she realizes they are all coming from the same email address. She texts her friend Ali and while it’s been a long time since she heard from her she tells her she thinks she has an internet stalker and since they were on there at the same time she was wondering if he’d targeted her also. Text me she says.

Kevin is whining about having to be the one to go and get the phone. Why he asks Daniel. Because it’s your thing says Daniel. Remember the pawn shop receipt and Mrs. C’s ring. You heard Michael Daniel, he said I had to show rehabilitation to help Jana’s case. If I get thrown in jail I won’t accomplish that. Daniel says he wants to ask Kevin a question. Do you have any idea what Jana went through when you were on the run? She couldn’t eat or sleep but she pushed herself until she was exhausted and then when the headaches came back she stood by you, even when you didn’t recognize her. That girl would have walked on hot coals for you. I just hope she never finds out you couldn’t do the same for her Daniel finishes.

Michael goes back to see Jana and she wants to know what he found out. Did you convince her I wasn’t a menace to society? After reviewing your history Michael tells her, Judge Collins has decided to look strongly at reopening your murder case. That case is closed and the charges were dropped says Jana. I know says Michael, the way I see it, Heather Stevens is trying to connect these two cases in order to get a conviction. Ensure one anyway. My God I should have known this would happen again says Jana. I got off way too easy last time she adds. What are you talking about says Michael? You spent months in prison. I killed someone Michael says Jana. You were sick says Michael. You had a tumor says Michael. It doesn’t’ matter what made me do it says Jana. Oh come on says Michael what about all the good things you have done? That must count for something he adds. You turned my brother’s life around. All he needed was someone to believe in him and you gave him that unconditionally and if you remember I had my doubts about you some time past and you proved me wrong Michael tells Jana. Jana you are the real thing and so I have to believe that the Buddha or God whoever has control has to know what you got going in your heart says Michael. God I’m so lucky to have you and Kevin in my life says Jana. What are you kidding says Michael we are the lucky ones and we know it says Michael. So there is no way I am letting you slip through our fingers Michael adds. You let her (Heather) try and I’ll pull out every trick in the book to make sure she doesn’t succeed.

Victor is talking to Ashley about Adam and says Adam didn’t’ want to see the doctor in the worst way because he feared he’d be let down again. Well at least we know he’s telling the truth says Ashley. He didn’t send the statue head and he couldn’t have done all those other things either she tells Victor. I should have seen to it that he got out of prison sooner says Victor. They were beating him up I saw the evidence yet I kept thinking he was playing me for a fool. So I guess my son is paying for my mistake.

Adam has a book looking at it like a scrapbook of some kind I think and he finally tosses it across the room in anger. Ashley walks in after the book flies across the room and says Adam, I’m sorry about everything. Victor is too he feels terrible about getting your hopes up and suspecting you had anything to do with what’s been going on around here. We are going to get through this she tells Adam. Just like you Mom I’m going to help you too. I couldn’t have got through these past few months without you. You have been there for me and for my baby (that’s no longer there) so many times. Thank you so much and please let me be there for you now. Please I’m so sorry Adam. So, So Sorry Adam and she’s hugging him and he cries. Now I think he’s crying and in shock that he’s caused himself permanent blindness and it has nothing to do with Ashley’s kindness or her or her baby or what he’s done. I think it’s just Adam feeling sorry for Adam. But he did this one to himself, he can’t blame Victor for this. Or can he? Will he?…….

Victoria and JT start off talking about how she should be at home resting and she tells him she’s going to work in spite of her concussion. It happened so long ago I even forgot she had a concussion so until they reminded me of her concussion I was wondering why she had to take it easy. Even the writers must know there is too much time in between the storylines. Anyway the topic changes to Sabrina and how she’d done this for Sabrina and JT tells her that Sabrina would not have wanted her to risk her life for this piece of art. Victoria says JT is challenging her on everything she says. She also tells JT that Sabrina was a Mother or would have been if it hadn’t been for the tragic accident. She says she doesn’t feel like she ever really got to say she was sorry and make it up to Sabrina. Then she realizes that’s it Sabrina’s and Victor’s anniversary.

Dr. Taylor finishes examining Ashley (we don’t see those scenes) and he says her and the baby (that isn’t there any longer) are doing fine. So she can tell Victor and Ashley says he can tell him for himself, he’s up in Adam’s room. She says now that this nonsense with Estella is finished Victor can relax.

Victor, talking to Adam wants to know why he’s surprised that Dr. Donahue is going to be examining him. Adam says Victor is only doing this to prove he’s lying about his blindness. Victor is hurt that Adam is reluctant to accept the fact that he’s spend millions in order for Adam to try and regain his sight. Adam apologizes for his way of thinking but he tells Victor I already told you I have given up hope. He also tells Victor that his accusations have been hard on him. About this time Dr. Taylor knocks on the door and Victor and Adam’s conversation is interrupted. Dr. Taylor explains to Victor when he questions him examining Ashley again so soon, that he was in Chicago and just thought he’d stop in and check on Ashley and the baby. He tells Victor that Ashley is doing fine. Victor thanks him and leaves him to talk to Adam alone. As soon as Victor is out of earshot Adam says to Dr. Taylor, did you bring it? Dr. Taylor doesn’t answer him just yet.

Sharon and Nick are in their room and Sharon is try to get past him to get her clothes and of course Nick is not telling her she needs no clothes. Sharon says if we are going house hunting I do. Then Nick apologizes for Phyllis freaking out over Daniel being arrested. Sharon asks if he needs to be at Daniel’s bail hearing and he says no she has Michael there. Is this really happening says Sharon we are really going to get a place of our own?

Michael tells Phyllis and Daniel this Judge is a fair Judge and he believes that Daniel has a good chance for making bail. Jana, talking to Kevin is scared to death she won’t get bail and have to go back to jail. Kevin tells her that the Silver Chipmunk was more messed up than she could ever be and Michael knew what he was doing and he’d get her bail also. Not to worry he promised her they’d go home soon.

Adam asks Dr. Taylor again did you bring it give it to me he instructs Dr. Taylor. Dr. Taylor says he can only guess what he’s going to do with it, he must be out of his mind. Dr. Taylor tells Adam he could go blind permanently from doing this. Adam informs him that he’s fooled two prior doctors doing this and Dr. Taylor says you mean you have done this before. Adam tells him to back off unless he wants the AMA to find out about his past. I only have one more doctor to fool says Adam. Adam says it’s for self-preservation. Dr. Taylor doesn’t look convinced at all.

Ashley whines to Victor some more about what a relief it is that Estella is gone. Victor tells her he’s never seen not one sign of this type of cruelty from Estella. Ashley announces she’s going to the spa to have a baby massage and leave Victor to have a break from her today too. He also needs to relax. After Ashley leaves Victor looks at Sabrina’s picture hanging on the wall. I guess he hasn’t forgotten that it’s his and Sabrina’s anniversary.

Sharon seems troubled as Nick and Sharon lay in bed. Guess she never got those clothes on and Nick wants to know what is wrong. Sharon is worried that everything is so wonderful and something might happen. Nick assures her that nobody is going to take anything away from her. He says he can’t promise her there will be no more tragedy but he can promise that he will not walk away from her again. Then he says first in the shower gets to pick the house to which Sharon perks up and says Oh and takes off for the shower.

Heather does her best to assure that Daniel won’t get bail. She tells the Judge all about Daniel being on the run the last time he had bail. Michael also does his best to tell Daniel’s side of the story. The Judge talks to Daniel and she asks him if he’s sorry that he ran last time. He says he is. The Judge reminds Daniel that he was falsely accused. Daniel says all the more reason to stay, to prove I was innocent he tells the Judge. The Judge does grant Daniel bail. One Million dollars.

Jana is in the hallway kicking her own butt for not having done things differently. She says she should have told Victoria and Kevin tells her if she had then Daniel would most likely be dead now so to stop blaming herself. Jana says if she goes to jail they have to have a contingency plan. He will need help. Kevin tells her she is just an innocent bystander in all of this. Daniel should be the one to worry says Kevin. Jana tells Kevin he sounds like he is angry at Daniel. He says he is that somebody should have had her back.

Sharon says this house is 5000 square feet and only has three bedrooms. Finding a house is going to be harder than I thought. I want a house that says All Are Welcome says Sharon. Oh you want a talking house says Nick. Sharon says we are two families now. And everyone has to accept this (touches tummy). Nick has another view. He says that his Dad always created new families too like with Adam and Sabrina. It’s a balancing act he says not really saying it couldn’t be done but he has seen how it worked out for Victor for sure. Sharon says well then we know what not to do.

JT tries to tell Victoria that Sabrina forgives her. Victoria keeps snapping at JT and honestly there is no reason for it. But she seems to be intense for some reason. JT says look I am on your side in this. Then he tells her that her Dad has forgiven her. Victoria snaps she can’t go to work today she needs to go and see her Dad.

Victor is at Sabrina’s statue. He tells Sabrina that he really did love her and he wonders what it would have been like to see their baby grow up. I am with Ashley now. Life is strange he tells her, your death brought Ashley into my life. I have to let you go now he tells Sabrina. He kisses the baby’s head he’s been holding in his hand and puts it back in place on the statue. You can see the gardener in the background at this point. You have given me lots of happiness he tells Sabrina. Then he turns and calls the gardener by name and says Tim, remove the statue by this afternoon.

Nick and Sharon are still discussing the kind of house they want. Sharon says they never really lived off the ranch on their own. Nick says no it was like playing house. Sharon says she just wants a house that is warm and cozy. Nick reads a 5 bedroom house with a MIL suite with a bonus room off the master bedroom. He says that could be a nursery. Sharon starts to read about the house and it’s yard and she says the kids would love that yard to play there. Nick mentions that one of the rooms right here, he points, could be Faith’s room. Sharon says what? That’s the name that Cassie said their baby would have in the dream Nick had where Cassie supposedly tells him he will have another daughter someday and her name would be Faith. He pats Sharon’s tummy after Sharon approves of the room and says yes you can have a pony. Nick calls the realtor about the house on Rampart Lane and the agent tells him that they can see it today.

As I said the Judge did tell Daniel he was justified in running before and gives him a million dollar bail. Phyllis is heard in the courtroom asking if this is a shakedown. Michael tries to get the bail lowered but the Judge won’t budge. She says isn’t he the son of a huge rock star and Heather adds yes and of Phyllis Newman of the Newman family. So no wonder Phyllis thinks it’s a shakedown. It probably is. Phyllis says she’s got this and he’s going home and Daniel pleads with her not to do this it’s too much.

They all come out of the court room and Jana is told they set bail for Daniel. Kevin says good yours should be lower. Phyllis is hell bent on getting Daniel’s bail paid and Daniel asks her not to call his Dad. Amber says you let her do this so we can find out who did this. The Feds aren’t going to help you, they’d be happy to just pen it on you says Amber. This guy had a partner says Daniel and he was scared even before he died. If he was willing to leave one hundred grand behind in order to make you look guilty. They framed me says Daniel.

Michael does his best to get Jana bail also. He says she owns a business and has a loving husband. This was both peripheral and accidental. It’s ridiculous that these charges were ever made says Michael. Heather comes back with Mrs. Fisher is a sweet young thing who admitted to murder, that was vacated says an angry Michael, and arson continues Heather only this time she managed to be by the side of Agent Aucker when it all came down. Lets say she formed a spider web. She knew it was a copy and she didn’t tell Victoria Newman in fact she encouraged her to purchase the painting and never revealed it was a fake. Then she told Daniel what she had heard to make sure he would be there on time. Enough says the Judge based on her previous arrest for murder no bail. Kevin absolutely flips and says come on Michael do something. She’s innocent. Michael looks like he’s in hell and doesn’t know what to do. They handcuff Jana.

Victoria goes by to see Victor. She asks him if he’s been to the statue since he was just coming in. He said he had and Victoria says she goes there often. Victor says he didn’t’ know that. He says I feel her presence here and sometimes in this house too says Victor. Victoria wants to know what he’s saying is the house haunted? Did Ashley say that asks Victoria? Dad you loved her (Sabrina). It’s time to let her go says Victor. I feel like I am unfaithful to Ashley with her picture there. He says he took the picture down of Sabrina and he’s having the statue removed too. This really upsets Victoria who has already been acting strangely. Adam is listening to all of this he’s on the stairs. You mean Sabrina is no longer here asks Victoria? You are just going to forget about Sabrina? I’m moving on says Victor. By wiping all traces of Sabrina away asks Victoria? I don’t need these things to remember Sabrina Victoria says Victor. That’s what you do says Victoria. You open hearts and then you dismiss them. None of this is my fault says Victor. Can I have this asks Victoria since you don’t want it anymore? She’s talking about Sabrina’s picture. She storms out just as Ashley is coming home and she says Well I hope you are satisfied now Ashley. Of course Ashley has no clue what has just occurred. So she looks like what did I do? She’s good at that.

Sharon and Nick discuss getting to see the new house. The word Faith continues to come out of Nick’s mouth and now Sharon’s and it’s all about Faith. He tells Sharon that little girls is mine and I just bought my daughter a new house. There is a knock at the door and it’s Phyllis. She enters and she says she needs his help…Rut Ro happy time is about to be over.

Jana comes out and someone says her bail was denied and they ask why. Jana says on her record. She is handcuffed and being led by a Deputy. She tells Kevin that Daniel and Amber will help him and Amber says anything he needs. Michael says that Heather had it out for her. Kevin tells Daniel you got her into this and you better get her out. Daniel shakes his head in agreement. Agent Aucker comes out and Daniel asks for the name of the dead man and Aucker is all cocky backed up by Heather I might add and won’t say anything but he looks forward to seeing Daniel in court. He has no interest in helping Daniel find the real killer it’s pretty obvious. And Heather, well she’s just the same old witch she always is. Aucker tells Daniel two guys went into the alley, Daniel corrects him it was 3, and only one came out says Aucker. So that makes Daniel guilty in his eyes he’s not looking to find out what really happened.

Victoria is back with JT again and she says that Victor is acting as though Sabrina never existed. JT tries to explain what Victor might think and she says see you are challenging me again. He’s cut her out of his heart says Victoria. Now you want to make this about me. JT does try and reason with her and tell her that’s not true, he just meant people grieve differently. Victoria says this is more than about Sabrina. I assume she means Ashley.

Ashley asks Victor if he thinks she’s pressing him into forgetting about Sabrina. No but he says that Victoria was almost incoherent. Ashley says well she certainly has some unresolved issues where Sabrina is concerned. As does someone else I know says Victor. Meaning himself and he says he assumes that’s why she’s left him home alone today. Yes she beams of course little Miss Do gooder did just that. She knows just what to do for her Victor. Gag, Gag. Sorry. Anyway Ashley says yes she did because she knew Victor would do it for her. He says he’s doing it for Ashley, him and their family.

Adam goes to inject himself with the botox and he drops the bottle and it breaks. Those bottles are pretty rugged so I am not sure if Adam is just unlucky today or what.

Nick questions why the bail is so high. Because I’m a Newman says Phyllis and quickly adds in name only. Phyllis explains the help she needs is that the divorce is in the works and she needs Nick’s permission to access their account so she can put up the money needed for Daniel’s bail. Nick says yes to take the money. He says Daniel has his support but he will go and talk to him and tell him he is putting his trust in him. What’s that supposed to mean says Phyllis? You think he’s going to take off like he did before? If you remember correctly you ran him off he was afraid of you. He almost didn’t get bail today says Phyllis. Phyllis starts to say more and then says no and then changes her mind and comes back and tells Nick you are crazy if you think you are going to lecture my son about running away when that’s all you ever do. That’s what you are doing here now isn’t it? You call it creating life and a new family. Starting over she goes on. You can call it what you wish but it’s cowardly says Phyllis flatly and stares him down. Sharon’s eyes were priceless and Phyllis storms out. We don’t really get a good luck at Nick after the first couple of digs she tosses at him but Phyllis was on today let me tell you.

Michael turns his attention back to Jana’s bail he’s not giving up yet. Daniel says he knows he’s been set up. They reeled him in. But I don’t have any enemies right he says to Amber.

The next scene shows a man entering what appears to be a man’s study with lots of books and a man whose face we can’t see having a drink. He tells the man he has bad news. The girl got no bail and Romalotti will be out as soon as he posts bail. At this grand news the man having a drink throws his glass and smashes his drink into a million pieces with rage. So I guess Daniel has at least one enemy but we didn’t see his face so we don’t know who it is.

NEXT ON THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS:

Dr. Donahue tells Victor that his son does not have retinitis pigmentosa. Victor says he’s been faking it all along? Adam is there looking miserable.

Noah who is talking to Abby, tells her he has a secret, he’s thinking of divorcing his parents.

Daniel tells Kevin that he’s going to get the victim’s cell phone. Kevin says you mean the one the defense has with your name and number in it? Daniel says that one…..

Today Cane continued to lie to Lily about his past and at the same time he agreed to have another DNA test done when Jill ask him to. Last time we saw Cane he was opening the safe and took out his passport and put it in his pocket. Today he took some money out but put it back quickly when Lily showed up. After Cane talks to Jill about the DNA test and she assures him they believe him she just wants to prove it once and for all and move on and basically to shut Nina up, Cane is shown reaching into a freezer taking out a tube of blood. Later he makes a phone call and says by the time I hear back from you, I will have already done what I needed to do so maybe you can stop hiding. So that blood must belong to Phillip and that's how Cane passed the DNA test the second time. And Phillip must have not died in that car accident, but he is on the run now and maybe he was then. Either way he's alive and about to shake up Genoa City if this means what it appears to mean anyway.

It wasn't a fun day at the Newman Ranch either. Adam walked into the room shortly after the baby head hit the floor and Victor asks him if this is his handy work. Adam can't see of course so Victor has to tell him what's going on. He immediately blames Estella and Nikki says how dare you. Adam says she believes she was fired because of Ashley. He apologized to Ashley and Victor ask him if he was apologizing because he did this and Adam says no he'd never hurt Ashley. Nikki tells Adam that Estella is not capable of such cruelty and that's more than she can say for some people in this house. Victor says that's enough. Victor called the police over the package with the baby head being delivered to Ashley and frightening her. About the time the police are there so is Detective Wallace. They don't find a fingerprint on the baby head but they do find one on the box. Victor demands that Estella give her fingerprints and Rafe tries to stop her from doing it but Estella says no she wants to clear herself. Unfortunately for Estella that was the wrong thing to do. The fingerprints were Estella's. Nikki had come to Ashley and Victor so that Estella could come and explain her side. That never happened but Ashley screams at Estella that she never liked her from the day she arrived and she always like Nikki and especially Sabrina better. Estella said that was not true it was Ashley who didn't like her and she had ordered her around and made demands upon her and treated her badly. But now Estella is in handcuffs and going to jail for what has happened regardless of who liked who first or who didn't. And it appears to everyone that Adam is not the one doing this to Ashley it's been Estella all along just like Adam says? Now I don't buy that myself but prints are prints and right now only Estella's are on the box.Victor also finally tosses Nikki out which I expected him to do last week but he was nicer than normal about tossing her. Victor says he wants to put an end to this torment today and Adam is shown upstairs in his room listening and says and so it begins. Victor asks Detective Wallace to do the testing at his house he'll make sure he has whatever resources he needs made available. Victor goes all out he wants Rafe and Estella checked. Estella is miffed she says first me now my nephew. Well he might have been an accomplice without us knowing that says Victor. Nikki is just beside herself she tells Victor Estella is practically family and he's known Rafe since he was a baby. Victor says he also wants Adam's prints checked as well. Rafe says he won't do it. Detective Wallace says if they won't cooperate then he'll need a warrant and Victor tells them cooperate today or I'll have the DA issue a subpoena. Ashley says if you are innocent why won't you just do it and prove you are innocent. Rafe says he will fight Victor every step of the way and that's when Estella says no we what do we have to do. I thought you said they wanted to hear my side. Nikki looks helpless. Victor says he will leave them to Detective Wallace and leaves the room. Nikki hollers behind him Victor please don't do this and Victor says it's already done. Nikki tells Estella not to worry when Detective Wallace says his CSI van is outside and they can take her prints out there. Victor goes to Adam's room and tells him that Detective Wallace is here and found a print on the box. Adam thinks back to the day that Estella came by and said she had left some things for Victor at the ranch. They were in a box. The he tells Victor lucky for me my prints are already in the system for comparison. Thanks for the heads up thought Dad. Was there something else you wanted to tell me? You're not even nervous are you says Victor. I'm not afraid of the truth says Adam.

Later downstairs as they wait for the test results Nikki tells Estella the truth is on her side not to worry. Rafe tells Adam that the thought of Victor putting the all through this just makes him want to and Adam says I know I'm sorry you got put through this. Detective Wallace finally comes in and says Estella is a match. Estella says it's not true. She wants to see the box. Detective Wallace tells her it's evidence and it's on it's way downtown. Estella. Estella says she wants to see that box and Ashley says what difference does that make. Estella says she brought some things over in a box the other day with Mr. Newman's things in it. Maybe whoever is doing these horrible things used it thinking it would be traced back to me. My God I didn't do anything she pleads. Are you going to deny having access to this house Estella. You let yourself in to this house just the other day with your own key. And that's when the argument about who liked or didn't like who began. Estella tells Ashley that was because she was cold, inconsiderate, dismissive and unkind and maybe that was because she knew she could never replace Nikki or Sabrina. Victor hollers Estella Basta! That's enough. Detective Wallace says he assumes he wants to press charges. Victor says he does. Nikki tries to stop him she says Victor you are talking about someones life now, someone that you know is innocent. This is when Victor tells Nikki I want you to leave right now. Nikki tells Estella, again I'm so sorry I will do everything I can to help you. Estella tells her thank you. Adam was there during all of this and didn't say one word. I couldn't read him. I thought he always liked Estella but he sure did set her up if he did this but he looks very uncomfortable now. More nervous than when Victor talked to him both times earlier. But he doesn't say a word.

Victor comes to Adam's room and says Detective Wallace is on his way. Adam says good maybe he can make Victor believe he's not the one tormenting Ashley. It will end her suffering. Victor says you sound almost sympathetic where Ashley is concerned. I'd also like to clear my name says Adam. Of course you would says Victor. You can't even consider the possibility that I might be innocent says Adam. I can't even go ten feet out the door without alarms going off. And I'm blind adds Adams as Victor is checking his ankle bracelet. What are you doing asks Adam. Just checking says Victor. Happy now says Adam? Just making sure it was working says Victor. You are really reaching says Adam just think about it Victor. In my present condition and before you say it, nobody is helping me. You can check the security logs. The only people whoever come to visit are Rafe and Heather. And the only person I've ever had to clear was a doctor for your wife adds Adam. Would you have just rather I'd ignored her cries for help he continues? As long as you are not responsible for those cries says Victor. You know Victor someday the truth is going to come out and when it does, I'm going to want an apology says Adam. Victor looks thoughtfully around the room and says all right. And Adam just sighs as he leaves.

Nikki brings Ashley some tea and Ashley says every where she turns in this house she has Sabrina's ghost. Nikki tells her it's not Sabrina's ghost but the person behind all of this wants her to think that. Ashley says and you think that person could be Adam? Nikki tells Ashley she absolutely does. She also tells Ashley once Victor proves that all this madness will stop. It's about this time that Estella and Rafe show up.

Rafe goes to Adam's room to talk to him and Rafe vows to clear Estella's name and he is going to get the person who has done this to her. It's hard to tell from Adam's reaction if he's worried or not. Rafe tells Adam he can no longer represent him since he will now be representing his Aunt Estella and it would conflict of interest. Adam says that's too bad. Adam tells Rafe there is a lot of evidence against Estella. Rafe says are you kidding there are holes in this case big time. Adam says you really think so. Rafe tells Adam he's told him before he thought someone at this ranch was setting Estella up and when he finds out who they are going to pay. It really appears that Adam has set up Estella or somebody has but for now Rafe has to concentrate on helping his Aunt prove her innocence so Adam needs a new attorney.

Ashley says she thought this was finally over when Estella moved out. Victor assures her that everything is fine now that Estella has been put in jail all she has to worry about is her and the baby. Ashley says the only thing that matters is her baby and Victor says yes.

As I said earlier Cane has agreed to take a second DNA test which is really the third. Nina had a fit when they discovered sandbags in the coffin and no body at all. Paul had ask them to do a DNA test it showed there had never been a body in the coffin. So the mystery continues to build. Jill, Katherine and Nina have a long discussion about the need for this test and what it would do to Cane and Nina doesn't care what it does to Cane. She is hell bent on proving he is an impostor and she is saying she wants to find out if Phillip has the disease her son could "possibly" have. They are not sure he has any disease yet.

Nikki meets up with Paul and is kicking herself for getting involved. She wants to help Estella. Paul reminds her that she cares about Ashely and Victor and she was just being kind and that was just her. Nikki says if you only knew how worried he was about losing Ashley and that baby. Paul says he does know and that helps Nikki not be so angry at him. Nikki says yes not that he deserves it. Nikki tries to get out of him what he's working on now and he won't tell her. He's working on the Phillip case with Nina and trying to figure out why nobody was in that coffin. He's also still working on Mary Jane but that wasn't mentioned today either.

Billy was full of himself today. He was following Mac around like a bloodhound and gave the waitress at the coffeehouse money to make the patio private just for them. He convinces her just for one night to take down the wall since she thinks it's better they not see each other. They talked about her being prom queen and Mac tells Billy they both know it was more about Brittney not being prom queen than Mac being elected prom queen. Billy tells her he remembers seeing her dancing for the first time that night and she said it was awful doing that in front of everyone. Billy wants to know if she has gotten over that and she says no. He's going to put money in the jukebox so they can dance on the patio but Mac cuts that off. Then they do dance and of course they get close and Billy tries to kiss her and she stops him and tells him that they can't go back and he says he knows and then he says he should get going. Mac agrees but both look like love starved animals as he exits and she seems to wish he wasn't leaving. Billy is still acting like a love sick cow where Mac is concerned. It didn't appear today that he is going to ever grow up, nor is he going to step up to the plate like Cane did and take responsibility for his baby by being with her Mother as he promised Chloe to do at their wedding. This is a snoozer storyline for me so for those of you in love with a Billy and Mac reunion storyline forgive me for not having more information for you. This was just plain boring today. I did forget to mention that Mac's phone rang non-stop and it was Billy. Cane notices this and she wants to know why he's there so late and he's waiting for an electrician at the bar. She offers to stay so he can go home to Lily but he insists she take the night off and have a good time.

Cane is still on the phone at this time trying to get a hold of Langley/Phillip he says he's left here holding the bag by himself but Langley still don't answer. Meantime, Katherine breaks the bad news to Jill that there was no body in the coffin they dug up that was supposed to be Phillip's body. When Nina and Paul get there Nina says they can not rely on the old tests and now Cane has to have a new test and if Jill don't ask him she will ask Cane herself. Nina also says she will not allow some con artist to rob her son of his birth right. But Jill does agree to ask him as I told you earlier. Paul tells them he ordered a second test for DNA on the casket but that test if negative because there was never any body in that casket at all. They were all stunned to hear that news and based on that, Jill goes to Cane and asks for another DNA test and he says no problem he will do it first thing in the morning. Lily tells Cane it doesn't matter if he's a Chancellor at all to her. And nothing will change. But Cane is not foolish he knows he could loose everything including Lily for whatever his part was in all of this masquerade. Katherine says there was never a public viewing that she was aware of and Jill says or a private one that she knows of. Nina says all she knows is she remembers seeing Philip in that hospital bed and she could barely get through that. Katherine says they should have done more at the time, not Nina she was just a teenager. Katherine also says she has heard of people stealing bodies for organs or the cadaver but Nina adds you never think it will happen to someone you love. Katherine tells Nina she should be prepared to be wrong. Nina tells her she should be ready for the opposite since they found out Violet Montgomery wasn't even in town to take the baby. Maybe someone else did says Katherine. Maybe there was no switch says Nina and that would mean that Phillip is Jill's son. Katherine admits her memory is fuzzy and Nina reminds her that she was in a drunken stupor at the time and nearly blacked out. Isn't it possible that the baby switch was in your head and your mind just ran with it says Nina. Well you do give a lot of weight to the power of suggestion. Doesn't it seem like a coincidence that you remember this baby switch when you were so desperate to believe this stranger was family? Oh come on says Katherine, you make me sound like a desperate old woman. Not desperate old woman says Nina just heartbroken you and Jill both Because you know you both could have done more to prevent Phillip's death and you didn't. Are you trying to tell me that Cane was faking his own DNA all this time plus poor Phillip's?The next thing you will be telling me is that he's responsible for Phillip's body not being in the casket. All Cane has to do is take another test and if refuses then I have my answer says Nina. About this time Jill walks in and adds that she won't have to worry about Cane he's agreed to take the test and once he does he'll be vindicated again. But then it shows Cane taking the blood out of the freezer he has many tubes. So of course he can switch them around and be Phillip for as long as he needs to be but is he going to do it one more time to help out Langley/Phillip or will he finally just tell the truth?

NEXT ON THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS:

Just give it to me says Adam to Dr. Taylor. I can just guess what you are planning to do with it says Dr. Taylor to Adam, you must be out of your mind.

First one in the shower gets to pick the new house says Nick to Sharon and she gets a big smile on her face and says Oh and she moves quickly like she's getting out of bed first to get to the shower.

Victor tells Adam that he told him he was going to have Dr. Donahue examine his eyes. Adam says he's not going to stand for this. Victor looks perplexed.

Sharon and Nick are getting dressed and talking about how wonderful their lives are and they are going to go and look at property today. Nick wants to fool around but Sharon reminds him he has to pick Summer up. They also talk about Noah and Sharon wonders if he will ever talk to her again.

The Fab 4 are all talking. Jana and Daniel have a meeting with Michael who is their lawyer in the art scam. The meeting is at the coffeehouse but Daniel says he has to go and talk to his Mom first she don’t want her hearing this from Michael. Daniel says he’ll meet Jana at the coffeehouse and those two leave. Then Kevin and Amber discuss that Daniel won’t be arrested and he didn’t shoot anyone. Daniel does says his prints are on the gun. But he just moved the gun. There is a knock at the door and Amber answers. It’s Agent Aucker and company and hey have a search warrant for the apartment.

Nina who is wanting to exhume Phillip’s body to find out if he had Huntington’s disease is told that in 2007 Jill had them keep enough in case they needed further tests. Nina infers that the reason Jill doesn’t want Phillip’s body exhumed is because she doesn’t want to know the answers.

Cane is on the phone begging to get Langley (Phillip) to call him back. Lily almost catches him she tells him she thinks it’s more than them digging up Phillip’s body that is bothering him so what is it?
Daniel goes to see Phyllis and asks how she is. She says she’s a survivor. I’m good. Daniel tells her that Nick is a real tird. Daniel says he’s not so good and tells her the latest on the stolen painting story. Daniel says he wanted to tell her so she didn’t worry and Phyllis says she can’t take anymore bad news. She tells him that he needs to stay out of trouble. Daniel asks how Summer is and Phyllis says she’s good but she doesn’t understand yet.

Mary Jane and Jack decide to have breakfast after having worked off so many calories. Mary Jane asks if he realized they were so unbelievably compatible? Phyllis calls Jack and he excuses himself about the time that Sharon walks in. Mary Jane goes over and apologizes to her for yesterday. Sharon says it’s already forgotten. Mary Jane congratulates her on things turning around for her having her true love back in her life. She questions if her and Nick are in it for the long haul and Sharon seems a bit reluctant if not annoyed to be having this conversation with Mary Jane.
Nina is troubled by the fact that these people falsified the information in other cases (forensic) evidence. No files and no fax. Jill says it’s no conspiracy it’s a mistake. Nina questions who is really buried in Phillip’s grave and Jill is on her feet how dare you she tells Nina?

Amber and Kevin wait as they search her apartment they touch her sketch pad and Kevin tells her let them there is nothing in there. Amber says at least it’s the “do gooders” who are in trouble this time and not them. Amber says they can look all they want Daniel didn’t take the cash nor did he stash it in their apartment.

Daniel and Jana tell Michael what they know. Daniel tells Michael a guy in a ski mask shot Belfore and he moved the gun so he wouldn’t shoot him. He ask who did this to him and he said Daniel had done.

Phyllis is still talking to Jack on the phone and she tells him she don’t need anymore bad news. Nick walks in and she gets off the phone. Nick wants to know where super girl is. She’s back with the photographer and Phyllis reminds Nick of Summer’s serious allergy medicine and they discuss how good it was the doctor discovered it so quickly. And Phyllis wants to know if Sharon is aware of this condition. She asks Nick where they are going and he says the park and then the place where you make your own stuffed animal. Then he adds and also Sharon and I are looking for a new house so we’ll be taking Summer along for that.

Sharon wants to know why Mary Jane is so interested her in personal life. Well Phyllis says it’s not over with her and Nick she’s fighting for her marriage and you could still go back to Jack. I just want to make sure you and Jack are over. Sharon tells Mary Jane not to listen to Phyllis she’s projecting. It’s sad that she wants to be with a man that doesn’t want her says Mary Jane and she flashes back and sees Phyllis and Jack on Phyllis’ couch through the Tack House window. Jack is off and the phone and suggests that Sharon join them and says you don’t mind right to Mary Jane. Of course she says she doesn’t’ but you can tell she does mind very much.

Cane tells Lily his growing up story with an Uncle who really had no use for kids. He had a friend named Fred and he had a wonderful family and Cane always liked being with that family. Lily says but you did become a Chancellor. He basically tells her he longed for a loving family his entire life. Lily tells him well he’s a Chancellor and he’s her husband and that will never change.

Katherine defends Cane to Nina. She says he gave up his inheritance. Well someone is lying and I have no choice but to exhume the body. Jill says it’s her son and she has the say but Nina lets her know that it’s not up to her since she is Phillip’s wife. They had called her to get her OK when they exhumed the body the last time she didn’t fight them so why can’t they do this for her?

Kevin and Amber discuss how he’s had a lot of money just drop in his lap and he mentions the money when Katherine died and Ambers says yes and I accused you of killing her. Kevin says that’s all behind them now. Amber needs sweetner and Kevin’s out so he goes to the backroom to look for some and Amber follows him. She mentions he’s carrying a briefcase now. He says no he doesn’t know where that came from. They open it up and realize it’s a bunch of money. Kevin at one point asks her how much money she thinks that is and she’s so upset she can’t even come up with a number it’s just full and a lot of money.

Jack asks Sharon to please join him and Mary Jane and she refuses but she wants to know if she can borrow Jack for a moment. She basically wants to know if things are alright between them. Jack says seeing her and Nick together was the reality check he needed but it was hard. Sharon tells him she doesn’t want him out of her life. Jack tells Sharon him and Mary Jane are nothing serious. Sharon tells him she wants you free and clear. Jack says I’m telling you there is nothing serious with that woman. What they don’t know is that Mary Jane is listening to everything they are saying.

Nick tells Phyllis that Summer is having a kiddies’ makeover so be sure and act surprised. Phyllis says she’s been thinking about this house hunting and she doesn’t think it’s a good idea to take Summer that it might confuse her she’s not ready. Nick says they need a place to stay and he doesn’t want Summer visiting him at the GCAC I want her to know she has a home and some say. Phyllis says she has a home the Tack House. Nick says he needs to give her stability. Phyllis says leaving your family and hooking up with your ex-wife is not stability.

Michael, Jana and Daniel have their meeting. They have a cell phone with calls to Daniel and his number in it that Baflore owned. But nobody knows yet what his real name is. Daniel tells Michael he’s already talked to the DA and admitted his part. Michael says that’s why they won’t get arrested them because the DA doesn’t have enough evidence yet. But he still suspects I have the $100,000 says Daniel.

How did this get here Kevin and Amber want to know. There is no way that Daniel and Jana hid it here, is there adds Amber cautiously. They discuss they aren’t looking there they didn’t have a search warrant for Crimson Lights. Kevin and Amber make an attempt to hide the money in the store room before they go back out to the serving area.

Jill, Katherine and Nina discuss the exhumation. Jill says she called Cane as a courtesy so he didn’t hear it from someone else. Nina reminds them of having called her and she didn’t fight them the first time they exhumed Phillip’s body. Katherine says that Cane is still family regardless of the DNA. Nina wants to know who is in that coffin.

Sharon says she didn’t want to stay here there were too many memories. Mary Jane makes excuses as to why she has to leave and says it was nice to see you Sharon. Sharon immediately tells Jack that, that woman really likes you, I mean really likes you. It’s odd me giving you dating advice she tells him. Jack explains to Sharon that this is no big deal they are adults they have this worked out and not to worry Mary Jane is not the Bunny Boiling type of woman. She so infatuated with you says Sharon. If you aren’t interested you should tell her now.

The photographer tells Summer she should be on the cover of RS. Like in the teen addition a kid would be great. I don’t think I want my daughter on the cover what do you think Nick says Phyllis? I think we take some shots and then deicide. Phyllis puts a hat on her own head and then one on Summer’s and says what you think and Nick says I think like Mother like daughter.

Jill keeps fighting the exhumation and says Phillip didn’t have Huntington’s as far as we know. Nina reminds her that Phillip didn’t live long enough to have symptoms and they might be able to get her son into some research program to help him. Nina says don’t you want to help your grandson. Finally Jill agrees to let her exhume the body. But not other tests says Jill. No DNA testing. She says she won’t go there again. I don’t want any tests done that are anything beyond necessary.
Agent Aucker and company finds Kevin and tells him he has a search warrant for Crimson Lights. Kevin and Amber both look sick after just having found the money in the back room but they go ahead and let them without a fight. Just as they start Daniel, Jana and Michael come off the patio talking about how they won’t be arrested and Kevin and Amber are trying to motion for them to get out and that the FBI is there searching. Michael quips are we playing charades. But it’s too late just then Agent Aucker walks up with the money and tells Daniel and Jane they are both under arrest. Kevin hollers out that is not her money, and Agent Aucker says well is it yours then? Well no it’s not so Kevin tries to calm down. Michael immediately calls Phyllis and tells her that Daniel has been arrested. Phyllis is stunned and upset and tells Michael she will be right there. What’s going on Phyllis says Nick? Nothing she says I have to leave. Nick says Phyllis what is it tell me. She tells Nick Daniel has been arrested in this art scandal. Nick tells her then he’ll go with her and she says what no I am fine. Nick tells her she’s too upset to drive and he will take her. She finally agrees after Nick asks Mary Jane to keep an eye on Summer. She agrees to watch her favorite girl.

Sharon who is still talking to Jack gets a call from Nick and tells him he’s late when she answers the phone. He says he knows but he’s taking Phyllis to the police station that Daniel’s been arrested. Sharon in turn tells Jack who is also shocked.

Summer asks Mary Jane is my Mommy OK? She’s fine says Mary Jane. Summer tells Mary Jane that Daddy don’t live with us anymore. Mary Jane tells her that Daddy is supporting Mommy when Mommy is upset the way it should be. Mary Jane tells Summer not to worry that Aunty Mary Jane is going to make sure everyone is with who they are supposed to be with. Now that gave me a chill….

Nina calls to confirm the exhumation. Jill goes to call Cane and let him in on what is happening and assure him it has nothing to do with him just this disease of her grandson’s. No other DNA will be done. Nobody disbelieves you she assures Cane. Cane hangs up from Jill and calls Langely and leaves another message and tells him that it’s urgent. Katherine talks turkey to Nina and tells her no other tests but the one for the Huntington’s disease. No DNA and Nina says she won’t. But as soon as Katherine leaves the room Nina is on the phone calling to add the DNA test to the tests already scheduled. She is not giving up for sure.

Nikki and Paul discuss him being banned from the club for 24 hours. He says he was going to go outside and press his nose against the glass and Nikki tells him she’d a brought him some food. That’s what he gets for being a stalker. Mary Jane comes in and she’s all nice. You can tell me to take a hike if you’d like but I’d like to explain. So she says she was stalked this guy followed her and knew her personal stuff probably from her mail and when Paul was digging into her past she got scared and over reacted she explains. This happened in Europe and she put an ocean between her and the stalker and that’s why her social security and all her information can’t be traced back longer than 3 months ago when she came to Genoa City with a new life. Hiding from the stalker. She felt so violated. Rafe dropped by and ask if he could talk to Nikki privately and she goes with Rafe and it’s about Estella and how poorly she’s been doing. She has done nothing says Rafe she won’t eat or sleep and nobody will listen to her side. Nikki says so you want me to intercede? She says she won’t make any promises but she will try.

Adam tries to talk to Ashley about what has happened and he asks her you do believe me. Ashley tells Adam she thought it was Estella all along but she could have been wrong so she really says nothing to ease Adam’s mind. He has to know he’s in deep stuff with Victor. That Victor has been blind where Adam was concerned but he will check him out. While Adam is down begging Ashley to believe him Victor is going into Adam’s room and getting on his computer.

Cane and Lily are still chatting about what’s really bothering him. He gets a call from his Mum and she tells him about the exhumation and he says I thought you were going to talk to Nina about this and she says she was and did but Phillip her grandson is ill and that is the only test they will do no DNA. Katherine and Jill talk about Phillip and Cane and how all this hurts and how she will protect Cane. Nina barges in and says that’s what we all have in common a Mother’s love she says. I will finally get the answers I need. She’s pretty upbeat for an exhumation.
Mary Jane says again how sorry she is and that she over reacted and had a change of heart. Paul says you did a complete 180 in less than 24 hours so confession might be good for the soul but I am not sure that Paul is buying into any of this.

Adam tells Ashley how he’s been taking care of her and he called Dr. Taylor and kept Olivia away from her. I’m on your side pleads Adam I always have been and I always will be. Adam leaves and goes upstairs to his room and the door is unlocked and he says who is in here. But Victor don’t answer him. What are you doing in my room asks Adam when he realizes it’s Victor? I am checking out your story says Victor. Please don’t go through my computer says Adam.

Meantime downstairs Nikki has arrived to see how Ashley is doing after the night of the storm and Ashley says she’s all OK and has a new doctor a Dr. Taylor and even Olivia approves of him. Then Nikki mentions Estella and bringing her back. Ashley says she’s the one that caused all the drama. Ashley says she doesn’t like me. But that’s not the reason she was terminated says Nikki. Ashley says they found a tape recorder in her jacket pocket of the baby crying. Nikki says that could have been planted by anyone. Nikki insists that Estella is not capable of that deception and could Ashley just consider it might be someone else? The name Adam comes up and Ashley says he’s in his room and Nikki calls him a Little Weasel.

Adam tells Victor he has no reason to snoop in his room or his computer. Did you forget you are under house arrest says Victor? You are in my custody? So I have no rights and no privacy asks Adam? You forfeited all that when you did the diary forgery and had me falsely accused of murder says Victor. And why do you lock this room when you leave? Since Estella’s gone and there is new staff says Adam I was afraid they’d come in and move the furniture and I’d fall. Victor says the staff isn’t going to move his furniture and then Adam says that Noah and Abby hang out there with their friends and he didn’t want them walking in on him and Heather. Adam then gets upset and says he can’t live like this he’s calling Heather and having her talk to the Judge and having him moved back to the prison.

Lily continues to be suspicious of Cane’s behavior over this exhumation. She knows it’s more than he’s telling her and she keeps asking and he keeps telling her stuff but she knows it’s much more. Cane has just made another emergency call about the exhumation to Langley.

Nina thinks Jill is too calm about this and she says that she replaced Phillip with Cane. When Jill gets upset Nina tells her when she married again she didn’t replace Phillip with her new husband. Katherine tries to break it up by saying we are all going to help Phillip, Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother. Jill tells her she is not Phillip’s Great Grandmother she gave up that claim when she witched Phillip with Cane. I’m not sure we know the whole story here says Katherine to Jill. Paul Williams says Violent Montgomery was in Phoenix in the hospital when the switch occurred and wasn’t even in Genoa City. That’s right says Jill any scenario where you are not to blame is what you are going to go with. Admit it says Katherine, Nina is asking the questions we should have ask. Jill looks terrified at the implications of what Katherine is saying.

Lily is still working on Cane. She tells him to be honest with her and trust her. What really bothers you. I came here and claim to be Phillip III and have an honest to God family. He fears he will never compare to the man in the grave.

Nina tells Paul that she wants to be there when this casket is opened and it’s proven that the forensic evidence was falsified. She tells him she’s ordered a second DNA test and if this is Jill’s son, Cane be exposed as the fraud I know him to be says Nina.

Adam and Victor continue to have words. So you are ready to go back to prison are you says Victor? You don’t believe me says Adam. You have been lying to me since you got in town says Victor. Not about Ashley, she’s my friend says Adam. I’d go to about any lengths says Victor to protect Ashley and her baby, got that? If you don’t like that make true on your threat and go back to prison adds Victor. That’s a heck of an idea says Victor. Call Heather and tell her you are ready to return to your cell. He waits for Adam to call and he doesn’t and he says he didn’t think so. Then he tells Adam that he’s hired another retinitis pigmentosa expert a Dr. Donahue to examine him. No, no way says Adam I’ve been poked and prodded enough. Victor tells Adam he bought an entire research company to make sure he had a spot in the ongoing trials with stem cell therapy. Well it’s wasted money says Adam. I’m trying to help you says Victor. I’ve already been told my disease is incurable says Adam. There are break throughs everyday says Victor. I won’t do it says Adam. Not even if there is a chance you can regain your sight asks Victor? Look you know what kind of torture it is to be given false hope and then have it snatched away asks Adam. I can’t go through that again he adds. What kind of game are you playing with me Huh says Victor? The doctor will see you says Victor. Careful boy Victor adds and Adam looks defeated for this moment.

Ashley says Adam swears he was setup. Just like he swore that Victor wrote that diary and left it here says Nikki. Surely it’s crossed your mind that Adam could be doing this says Nikki to Ashley. Yes but he’s been incredibly helpful and supportive every single day says Ashley as Victor enters the room. What brings you by asks Victor? I’m here on Estella’s behalf says Nikki and considering what Ashley just told me my timing is good. Why are you involving yourself asks Victor? Someone has to defend Estella says Nikki and we’ve known her for years and she’s trustworthy, honest and kind. Good point says Victor. I can’t say the same thing for Adam says Nikki.

Paul and Nina discuss the exhumation. Paul tells her it won’t be pleasant. Nina says she knows but once they get what they need they can compare it to Jill’s toothbrush which she just happens to have stolen. Paul tells her it’s a good thing he’s a PI and not a cop because he thinks that might be against the law. Paul tries to tell Nina that Cane seems like an OK guy he hasn’t even tried to take a piece of the Chancellor wealth. He asks her if she really believe he lied about being Jill’s son. He seems devoted to Jill and Katherine unless that’s all an act and he married a woman he didn’t love to give the baby a Father. So would someone just after cash and a name do something like that? He just married Lily and she’s a good judge of character and Neil supports him. We’ll find out says Nina. Nina I think he’s one of the good guys says Paul. If that’s true says Nina, no harm, no foul right. Then Cane and Jill can go on with their lives. Only you.. I need to know about this test says Nina. Believe me says Paul I know what it’s like to have a nagging question that you can’t shake.

Lily tells Cane that she knows that he doesn’t like to talk about his past and his childhood. Cane asks her why she keeps bringing it up then? Lily says it doesn’t’ matter because only the future matters. And here she bought him a gift speaking of futures. It’s a Father’s Day gift says Lily. Does this mean…says Cane. No says Lily but… Cane opens it up and it’s baseball mitts so when she is pregnant and they have a child he can play catch with him or her.. Cane loves the gift.

Victor says suspect Adam who is blind and has an ankle bracelet. Nikki says if you don’t suspect Adam then consider yourself as blind as Adam is.
Adam says Retinitis Pigmentosa out loud and says how am I going to fool this guy?

Adam calls Dr. Taylor for more botox and syringes. Adam says he don’t’ want his lectures just do it Taylor. I guess he is going to try and fool Dr. Donahue with botox injections also.

Jill who seems to have taken Katherine’s advice to heart about not asking the right questions when they should have calls Cane and asks him to get a hold of his Uncle. She tells him that Violet Montgomery wasn’t even in Genoa City when the baby switch happened and they just found out this information. Please call his Uncle right away she’d like to talk to him. Cane says he will call him. Mary Jane walks up and says bad news? Cane says catastrophic news. She asks if she can help and he says can you rewind the clock a couple of years? Mary Jane says no but she’ll give him some advice. Don’t give up. Sometimes you get a second chance. Sometimes you get a second chance and it’s take away from you because of your deep dark secrets says Cane. You have two choices, stay and fight for what you want or run and give up. I’m staying and fighting for what I want says Mary Jane and you? I’m a fighter nothing stands in the way of my dreams.

Nina and Paul are standing next to the coffin and she says that was the worst day of her life and when they lowered him into the ground. Paul says you don’t have to do this. No go ahead and open it she tells them.

Adam is on the phone with the delivery company again. He’s frantic over some package they are supposed to deliver. It was supposed to be over night can you check he asks. Then he sees the truck pull up and says never mind it’s here. Just like last time.

There is a knock and Nikki says that’s probably Estella I ask her to stop by. Without checking with us first says Ashley? I just said you’d listen to her side is all says Nikki. Victor comes back with the package and says it’s addresses to Ashley and its’ from a Jane Smith. I don’t know any Jane Smith says Ashley. She opens it up and it appears to be a baby skull. Of course Ashley is upset. Nikki doesn’t look none too thrilled either. And Victor well you can only imagine what he might be thinking.

Jill and Katherine are discussing Phillip and Jill says it’s his birthday today. Did you know that asks Jill? Of course he was my husband says Katherine. My husband and my child laying dead first the Father now the son. Katherine say you say that Phillip was your son blood or not so why don’t you believe me when I tell you that I still love you as your Mother? How can you love me asks Jill when you took everything away from me?

Lily is leaving the bar and she tells Cane she’s taking Humphrey for a walk before he tears something up and then they take a little stroll down memory lane about their hard work of trying to make a baby. They are kissing then Cane tells Lily that she is the best thing ever to happen to him and he wants her to always remember that. After she is gone Cane goes to the safe that Lily has ask him earlier if he was putting in or taking out money and he said putting in. He takes out his passport that says Ethan Ashby and it’s an Australian passport. Looks like Cane could be leaving but I’m not sure. He’s just looking right now.

Nina and Paul are ready for the casket to be opened and when they do open it Nina gasps and Paul looks shocked…..There is nobody in there from what I can see….

Young and Restless character history

Co-founder of NVP Retreats, Phyllis has been described as a "homewrecker with a heart of gold". She is the mother of Daniel Romalotti, and is married to Nicholas Newman, with whom she has an infant daughter, Summer.

Phyllis was first introduced as an obsessed fan of rock star Danny Romalotti. When Danny toured in New York, a pregnant Phyllis stalked him, before drugging his drink and getting him into her bed, later claiming that she was pregnant with his child. Danny divorced his wife, Christine, and married Phyllis, wanting to do the right thing for his child. After their son Daniel was born, Danny discovered that Phyllis had lied to him; he wasn't the child's biological father. Danny and Phyllis battled for custody, with Danny ultimately winning. Danny left town and took Daniel with him, eventually sending him to boarding school. A now-adult Daniel has since reconnected with his mother.

During the custody battle, Phyllis had a "no-strings" affair with her lawyer, Michael Baldwin. The affair ended when Phyllis became increasingly jealous of Michael's involvement with Diane Jenkins. Through the years, Phyllis and Michael have become good friends.

Phyllis joined forces with Victor Newman to spy on Jack Abbott, Brad Carlton and Michael in an attempt to get his company, Jabot Cosmetics, back from their clutches. Phyllis ended up seducing Jack, and they began a short-lived affair, which ended after Jack discovered that she was spying on him. Phyllis left town, but returned two years later and reconnected with Jack. The two married in 2001. Their relationship was threatened when Diane returned to town and revealed that Jack was the father of her young son, Kyle. Diane made several attempt to win Jack back, including framing Phyllis for arson. Diane then battled Jack and Phyllis for custody of Kyle, with Diane ultimately winning. Eventually, Jack and Phyllis divorced due to business conflicts.

Phyllis began an affair with passive chemist Damon Porter. He did not get on well with her recently-returned son Daniel, who sarcastically labeled Damon "Mr. Personality", although the two eventually buried the hatchet. Damon eventually left Phyllis and reunited with his ex-wife Adrienne. The two left town together.

In late 2005, Phyllis began an affair with the married Nicholas Newman. When Nick's wife Sharon found out about this, she asked Nick for a divorce, but eventually took him back. The reunion did not last long, as Phyllis discovered that she was pregnant with Nick's baby. Realising that he wanted to be with Phyllis; not Sharon, Nick left Sharon and exchanged marriage vows with Phyllis in New Mexico, October 2006. However, the union was not valid because Wisconsin has a six month waiting period before you can remarry. In December 2006 Phyllis gave birth to a daughter, who was delivered by ex-husband Jack Abbot in the elevator at Newman Enterprises during an ice storm. They named her Summer Ann Newman, due to the ironic fact that she was born in an ice storm and Phyllis' maiden name is Summers. Phyllis and Nick legally wed after the six month waiting period on May 1, 2007.

When Phyllis and Drucilla Winters were forced to work in the same office, they constantly fought. Phyllis and Dru's fights often provided the show's comic relief. However, in April 2007, while on location for a photo shoot, Dru fell off a cliff during an argument with Phyllis and Sharon; presumably to her death. While Dru's friends and family attended her funeral, Phyllis and Nick held their own memorial service for Dru atop the cliff, in which Phyllis tearfully admitted that Dru "had the last laugh".

At her wedding reception on May 1, 2007, Phyllis was arrested by Detective Maggie Sullivan for extortion, having blackmailed Sharon and Brad with information about their one-night stand. It was revealed that Nick's mother Nikki had blackmailed Brad into reporting her. On Friday, May 11, 2007 Nick Newman's plane crashed on the way to Clear Springs. The bodies of Nick Newman and the pilot were not located. In June 2007, the Newman's plane was located. Nick was found by a doctor named Logan who was hiking at the time. An airplane finally flew overhead and Nick was rescued. Although Nick knew he had two kids, he couldn't remember that Cassie died and that he is married to Phyllis and his new baby daughter Summer. After spending more time with Phyllis, his feelings for her redeveloped as she was then sent to prison. After a few months behind bars, her conviction was overturned and she was released.

In January 2008, Phyllis teamed up with Nick, and Jack and Sharon Abbott to create an online fashion magazine.

Young and Restless character history:

Victoria Newman is the firstborn child of billionaire Victor Newman and his ex-wife Nikki Newman, and is the oldest of their two children. She has a younger brother, Nick, as well as a younger half-brother Victor Jr. and a younger half-sister Abby Carlton.

When the teenager Victoria returned from boarding school in 1991, she began working in the mail room at Newman Enterprises and set her sights on the somewhat-older Ryan McNeill. Victor, unhappy about his daughter's involvement with the older man, attempted to pay him to leave town. Ryan refused Victor's offer and eloped with Victoria. Their marriage didn't last long, as Ryan left Victoria for Nina Webster.

Victoria and Ryan later fell in love again and planned to marry. However, on the day of the wedding, Ryan's psychotic ex-wife,Tricia, kidnapped and tied up Victoria and arrived at the ceremony dressed in a wedding gown identical to Victoria's, begging him for a second chance. Meanwhile, Victor rescued Victoria, and when she arrived at the chapel, Tricia produced a gun and fired a shot at her. Ryan jumped in front of Victoria and took the bullet, saving Victoria's life but being killed himself, leaving Victoria alone and devastated.

After her initial divorce from Ryan, Victoria fell in love with Cole Howard. They eloped, but Victor was then forced to break the news that Cole's mother Eve had told Victor that Cole was his son. Believing they were brother and sister, Cole and Victoria annulled the marriage. However, blood tests then revealed that Cole was not Victor's son after all, so he and Victoria remarried. Eventually Cole left Victoria for Ashley Abbott. Soon after, Victoria discovered she was pregnant with Cole's baby. Then she had a miscarriage.

Neil Winters was the first person to whom Victoria confessed that she was pregnant. Victoria and Neil became engaged and planned to raise the child together. They broke off the engagement when the child, a girl they had named Eve after Cole's mother, died shortly after birth.

Victoria developed an attraction to Gary Dawson, a shy marketing expert, who turned out to be a stalker whose bedroom walls were plastered with her photos, including a nude centerfold she had posed for years ago. Victoria discovered the disturbing collage on his wall, and ended up being kidnapped by Gary and held hostage in the long-abandoned Newman children's treehouse. Nick and Paul rescued her, and Gary was put in a mental institution.

In 2002, Victoria began feigning an interest in ranch hand Diego Guittierez in order to find out whether or not he had been sleeping with Nick's wife, Sharon. However, she eventually developed actual feelings for him and they began a relationship. Victor, having found out that Diego had slept with Sharon, paid him to leave town, infuriating Victoria. When Diego was beat up by two thugs, who also took the $100,000 given to him by Victor, Victoria tracked him down at the hospital and they reunited. Diego became consumed with revenge against the thugs who beat him up. Victoria did not like this new vengeful side to Diego, so she ended the relationship.

Victoria and Michael Baldwin began to grow close in mid-2003. They fell in love, but Victoria left Michael - and Genoa City - in October, when family problems became too much for her to handle. Victoria was not seen or heard from in well over a year, and when she returned to town in March 2005, she arrived at Michael's doorstep expecting to pick up where they left off. Michael informed her that he was now married to Lauren Fenmore, and Victoria bowed out gracefully.

Victoria started dating Brad Carlton in 2005 and they married in April 2006. She became pregnant with his child but lost it shortly thereafter. Victoria soon discovered that Brad had a one-night stand with Sharon shortly after they married. Victoria and Brad divorced.

Victoria turned to J.T. whenever there was a problem in her relationship with Brad. The pair shared two one-night stands; the first in early 2006, before her marriage to Brad, and the second in April 2007. Victoria became pregnant with a son that could have been fathered by Brad or J.T. Victoria and J.T. became engaged in October 2007. Days later, a heavily pregnant Victoria was left comatose after being hit by a falling piece of rock during the Clear Springs explosion. Her baby (a very premature baby boy) was delivered via C-section. Victoria was then being cared for at the Newman Ranch. After a long wait and a few arguments between Brad and JT, it was announced that JT was the father of Victoria's baby. While Victoria was still comatose, J.T. named the baby boy "Reed Hellstrom" after Nikki's maiden name, and because a reed is strong, and bends with the wind. JT brought the baby home to Victoria. She awoke from her coma and married J.T. in February of 2008.
