Well most of these characters are supposed to be rich and upper class so I guess they have to dress for dinner and the mall. lol They'd hate my sweat pants and t-shirts. lol 1  out of 2 found this valuable. Do you?

Too bad they can't have any middle class people on here, but then that would take away almost all the weird stuff that happens. Brad did use to wear cut-offs.. Do you find this valuable?

The other day Phil had on a leopard dress and looked like a hooker.Sharon had on a black srtrapless dress with lace trim. She looked like she was headed for the prom.Amber had on a sensible black outfit until they showed that it went with short -shorts. I know it's TV ,but aren't they a little trashy looking for an office??I do enjoy their clothes.I seem to remember Jill used to dress a little more conservative for the office when she was younger. Do u know what i think is really funny? No one on the soaps ever watch tv. Except for an occasional news story u catch them watching. Yet we are supposed to be watching them on tv, and u know they want us watching every day. So why don't they promote watching it some? Lily and Cane used to watch a movie now and again. But tv in general? I think they should sit around watching soaps personally I think that would be just too funny.

I agree 100%, a32. Correct me if I'm wrong but it seems like years ago they had more down to earth people on these shows. we used to see them in housedresses and jeans. it would be nice if they had a nice middle class family that did't dress like they were ready to go to the prom when they are just going to for work. Great posts.

maybe they could watch reruns of the old Carol Burnett show - you know the ones that featured their little soap called "As The Stomach Turns". They could also watch Muppet Show episodes that featured "Vetenary Hospital". If all else fails, I'm sure they could find old reruns of "Soap" and "Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman". lol

Good point like they could watch B & B and B & B could watch Y & R. As long as there weren't any cast members on loan. lol

Hey I'd settle for some dress pants and a nice blouse that shows no cleveage. The other day I was sure Nikki would fall right out of her suit top. I mean Victoria's shirt was up around her neck and there was Nikki with most of her breasts hanging out. I mean that was tacky.

Hey how about Momma's Family. I love her bathrobe. They all wore robs and rollers in their hair. Brought back memories thinking of these old shows.

Sharon, Phyllis and Amber, while working at Restless Style they dress like strippers without a purpose or should I say without a performance. Do you find this valuable?

lol, that would be great, I loved the Carol Burnett show. I remember the over-the-top dramatic music & facial expressions of the cast, priceless. Wouldn't it be great if the actual cast of the Y & R could do a spoof of their own show- they're a great bunch of talented actors & likely have the sense of humour to not only pull it off but have a lot of fun doing it- even let the cast help write each others' parts.

I think the reason they're all so dressed up is the same reason most of them are rich & gorgeous, is because it's meant to be a 'guilty pleasure' / escapism kind of reality, not everyday reality. I don't walk around in evening wear & heels all day myself but then I don't have kids off at boarding school, husbands returning from the dead, or a judge ordering me to share my mansion with a couple of lunatics. I love the un-reality of it actually, even though I def look like crap compared to the women of Genoa City, it's a guilty pleasure for sure.

I am still trying to figure out why she never fell out.Sharon had on yet another strapless dress for the office. Not to mention the setting is somewhere like Michigan. I've forgotton the state.Jack is about the best dresser on there. He's almost over-dressed compared to the hooker look and whatever look Nick and Daniel have going.Daniel had on a cowboy shirt or something like that this week.

I love the spoof idea! They've done mini fantasy/spoof things but a theme episope would be great. Another World used to do them every year or so around Valentines day. One was a BW spoof of Murder on the Orient Express - it was great!

They could start with Paul and JT talking about JiMin or David or the Gloria/Jeff thing and they talk about how someone like Sherlock Holmes would have solved these cases. Or they could do an old time romantic thriller from the 40's

Oh this could be fun!!
