Did David Really Kill Ji-Min...
Jul 1 2008, 3:48 PM EDT
It's been a long time Y & R fans since Ji-Min was killed. Lets go over that day. I know we saw Walter telling David what a good job he did of killing Ji-Min and making it look like someone else killed Ji-Min. Totally throwing the cops off. But did David really kill Ji-Min? Give me your best recap of that day as you remember it and lets count the suspects and see if the writers are telling us the truth that David killed Ji-Min or are they leading us in the wrong direction? 5  out of 5 found this valuable. I hope this isn't another wild goose chase - we've been waiting long enough on this s/l! Then again, Walter didn't say that David actually "killed" Ji-Min - just that he did a good job with leading the police with false suspects. Maybe David is just an accessory after the fact - a clean up guy so to speak. Gets rid of the evidence of what Walter/hit man did and plants false clues to others like Victor and Jack - both of whom had reasons to want him out of the way. David's work on polictical campaigns certainly gave him experience in covering/uncovering/spinning skeletons/evidence so that wouldn't be a stretch.

We never really knew that much about Ji-Min's personal life so we don't know if he owed money. We do know that he didn't hesitate to take the money that Amber had burried on the Chancellor estate so there is room for speculation there.

Heather re-opennong her own investigation with full support from Paul - and Jill should also help to bring a conclusion. If David did do it and he learns about HEather's plans, she just may become the next target!

So far Gloria got away from David because I believe she was the next corpse to be discovered.

David seems horrified/ remorseful about the memories so I'm guessing he has a lot of involvement/ guilt. My guess is he's Walter's hit man but it's a possibility he could be 'clean up guy' (reminds me of Pulp Fiction). I think the drama quotient would be greater, however, if it's discovered he's an actual killer and not just an after-the-fact accomplice.

You gals really got me thinkin'!!! Good posts to all! I was thinking if david killed Ji-Min then why was he only having flash-backs of seeing his body and not doing the deed? And do we really know if Ji-Min stole that money? Sure he saw Amber but that doesn't mean he was the only one that saw her. David could have planted the money there just as the dog hair and Victor's blood in the gym bag. I find it hard to believe he wouldn't have taken it knowing how much he was in debt to Walter but you never know. I just hope Heather figures it out this time because it's making me crazy! 3  out of 4 found this valuable. Do you?

Good post dnsyl, you bring up some good points. We don't know very much about Ji-min. He was willing to go along with Jack's scheme and we believe he took the money - so he's not exactly an upstanding citizen.

Lol OldY&Rfan57. I think we all do a lot of that. I thought David went there to kill them at the motel too and who knows he might have, they left quickly. Still not sure if David is the killer or the fixer after the fact but time will tell for sure.

some more thoughts about David:
Did they ever find out who shot Nikki? in the parking lot.
whether David did these crimes or Not, I would like a closure of these cold-cases
How 'bout yall?

I previously thought that Ben was the one that killed Ji-min. I will be very pleased if David is the one! Then he will be off the show. I loved him on AMC, but not here on Y&R. Niki needs someone who can outsuave TGVN. Someone who will make TGVN resentful of Nikki & her happiness. That is what creates drama. 2  out of 2 found this valuable. Do you?

call me an old silly romantic, but I just don't want Victor giving Nikki much thought or being jealous of her at all, nor her happiness ,since she doesn't have ANY of that right now. Victor will always "care" about Nikki as he told Nick yesterday, she IS the mother of 2 of his kids.. If someone can outsuave the mustache, I wanna meet him. but I don't think the writers can come up with anyone to fill those shoes.
I agree tho, David can exit any day now. pardon me, who is Ben?

Ben was Jack's campaign manager. I also thought Ben was the killer. But if it will get rid of him, I'm glad David is the killer (lol)
