Billy and Mac (A New Begining)

It was obvious after today's show that Mac and Billy are going to take on the rolls as Super Couple. Not that I think there is any chemistry there, or That the new Mac is a fit. However I am for one ready f or a Happy romantic couple to be born. There really isn't any long term history there as far as them having been in a long relationship with each other yet. So none of that bagage that all the other couples have between them. Perhaps this is the marriage we read about between to key characters. Maybe the writers have decided to keep Billy and Mac on as key characters. I don't know, at this point I'll take what I can get. So I am going to go with this and hope it will be a positive s/l and bring back some of the Y&R that I miss these days. What do you guys think?

i wonder if billy can really change? if he continues his pattern of drinking too much and sleeping around, then why would mac (or anyone) want him? chloe seems to think that he shouldn't have to change in order to get her unconditional love. i don't know...i'm confused as to whether chloe wants to stick with him or not. billy needs to change, not for anyone else, but for himself first, his daughter, second. i wonder if he will change for mac?

I'm thinking that if Mac and Billy become a steadfast couple (can Billy do it?), the writers will use Chloe as a continual thorn in their sides, using Delia whenever and however she can (hmmm.....kinda reminds me of my own situation with Husband's ex) in order to make as much trouble for Mac/Billy as possible. That would make for some interesting viewing, I believe! We'll see. Do you find this valuable? |

If Billy cannot become a better man for Mac.. I'm not sure he will be able to. It doesn't seem like doing it for himself is enough to make a change.. I get Chloe's point though.. Mac is in love with the Billy that she's built up in her head.. Not the Billy that is there now.. She needs to see Billy for who he is.. He definitely needs to work on himself but she needs to be able to deal with him.. That's what real love is. Accepting people for who they are. Not just the good things.

To me Billy wasn't at all like his character is now back when him and Mac courted.. He was a yound ego punk, but still different. I remember when they first brought him back after the disaster of him and Mac's wedding and he was so different. Anyway I think he will become a better person having a chance to love again. Guess we'll just have to wait and see.

I like Mac but at the same time Billy he needs to be their with Chloe for the baby.Mac she came in the pic and screwed up alot of things.But I hope hima and Chloe work things out for the best

I think this is all wrong. NuMac looks older than the Pyramids. I don't believe Clementine and Billy as a couple for a minute. I think Chloe and Billy have much more chemistry in their scenes together and much more potential for a deeper more mature relationship in the long run. I wish someone at CBS would put on a pair of glasses and either fire Clementine Ford or recast her as Pearl's daughter.

As I said in the past, Billy did those things due to what happened with Mac. He loved Mac when they were young and the loss of his true love was too much. I think for a while they will be very happy but this is a soap so things will happen. Maybe they will overcome all obsticles. As negative as the story lines are so are these threads. In my opinion Clementine is not the worst actress on this show. Some in here I wonder if anything would make ya'll happy, or do you just like being negative about everything. I try to stay positive but the MJ s/l is evil.

Thank you, finally got a pix put on, I am on the right, hubby on left. Just my opinion but Chloe does not deserve to be with Billy. She is immature and conniving. I think we will all see a big difference in Billy if he is with Mac. I know alot of people do not like Billy but I do and have since he came on the show. (almost can't blame Sharon, he is cute) I guess I have pretty much been happy all my life, so I do not understand the term "misery loves company". I think that is how soaps are. I do have to say I am excited about Mondays show. Been a while since I have looked forward to a show.

The new Mac does look older.i old Mac she would of been better.But I want him and Chloe to have more chemistry with each other.mac she has cause alot of problems any way.Really she looks like his mom instead of ex-girlfriend what do you think?

Well I dont like Mac she looks old plus she dont even compare with Billy like Chloe does and I promise Chloe will get to the bottom of this storyline
