People tell me this aint true

After recieve a terrified phone call from my brother and sister stated that Victor Newman is leaving the show on Nov 2 meaning he may or may not come back to the the show it left me terrified. Personal I feel like without Victor the twitch need to canal the show cause my daddy victor newman make the show. This aint' cool at all it like the rap song say this **** is hirarous. Damn Dang is this **** true. Come on people we got do something - we got bring Victor back what on do. I miss victor I miss victor I miss victor I miss victor I misss victor 1 out of 2 found this valuable. Do you?

No offense but the great Victor Newman has lived for >30 years on Y&R and never learned a lesson on being a better person. Well, at least he has never retained any of what he has learned. Maybe the world is tired of Victor and Jack and all the repetative battles that always end the same???

I'd rather see them get rid of his character than try to recast him.. That would be a disaster.

There is rumor that he is upset about some salary thing, just like MTS was. His contract is not up until 2010 so all we can do is wait and see. I would miss him to, but as JB stated I would not want a recast, if he doesn't come back then let it be Victor's death, You have to remember a lot of times these magazines love to stir up trouble. I"m not saying for sure either way, but I do know for sure he is taking a 5 week leave to do a movie. JMO Do you find this valuable? |

definitely not a recast. Let Adam take over. TGVN is well paid .How hard of work is it to learn a few lines and mumble through them. Avarice is the root of all evil!

Victor has been Victor for so long they could not properly replace him and if they are dumb enough to even think they could, they will have lost my patronage. Do you find this valuable? |

They HIRED him to be a bad guy, and he's doing a good job of it. Why would they get him off the show? They'd just have to hire another one. There has to be good guys and bad guys to make the story lines work. Victor as a character has always made me mad, but I respect his contribution, as I do Adam's. Do you find this valuable? |

There has to be good guys and bad guys to make the story lines work.I couldn't agree more with your post maria, it's just like fans freaking out because they think Victor might be leaving the show. #1 bad guy himself, Adam is an important part of the show now losing him would make it dull and boring. Adam's character should have been off the show long ago. Simply because they cannot fine him any storylines that make good sense let alone common sense. No doubt he's a decent actor but not the calibar of the others who have been on board for 20-30 years. His storyline is not believable, nor interesting especially when they attempt to trick the man who over 30 years has proven that he cannot be easily tricked.

No Victor, Nikki, Katherine and there is no show. I watch to see them and I like all the charaters. But these guys make the show. AND let's not forget Jack..........I love the Young and the Restless and watch every day.

Many characters have gone by the wayside, such as---Neil! Where is Neil and his family? I'm glad we see as much of Lily and Cane as we do, and they've become pretty ho-hum, IMO. They've left Neil swinging in the wind and I'm distressed by it. I feel that if there's anything going on with Newman Enterprises, then Neil should be in there somewhere. Heck, he's one of the heirarchy, isn't he?? He should be tracking Adam; I'd love to see Neil run Adam into the ground (and then run OVER him!). Get Neil back here with a GOOD s/l, like, maybe, DRU coming back. Do you find this valuable? |

Great to see you jekorb! And hear from you. Although I'm trying to defend the actor portraying Adam. My position is "good actor, naughty bad character". I find the character interesting in a kind of dark way. If you read post # 16 you will see what elevated and sophisticated language I use to convey my point! LMAO As you can see, your skills are needed here. Do you find this valuable? |

"Great to see you jekorb! And hear from you.Hey jekorb, great seeing you. Maria, I feel your frustration and raise it by 100. The Y&R had Victor marry Hope, and they procreated. The boy was named Victor later to change his name to Adam. When "the writers" were ready, they decided that we should get to know him. The "writers crafted Adam as a chip off the old block but without the 40 year plus of experience that Victor has. It was the writers that decided that Victors progeny with Hope be a brilliant kid, but needed to be harnessed. Thus the tug of war and wills between father and son. The writers. The writers. For someone to want Adam kicked off the show is a lack of understanding that when the writers create the character and write every line and every action he is going to make, it is Michael Muhney's job to execute that with believability and professionalism. If he makes people SO angry that the lines are so blurred, then he is a fabulous actor who obviously evokes much more emotion than the old Adam did. Jeez, how would the Adam nay sayers and the ones that want him off of the show feel if they were hired to do a job. Then went into that workplace and attacked the job with such company loyalty, voracity and excellence that whether people liked you or not, you were creating a buzz not heard in a very long time. Then someone fires you because you have done your job too well. On any level, it just does not make sense. Do you find this valuable? |
