Will Ms. Chancellor find her real daughter before the holidays?
Nov 6 2009, 12:28 PM EST | Post edited: Nov 6 2009, 12:28 PM EST
Ms. Chancellor is one of the oldest vets on the show. She has always been a woman of power, authority and status. We love her wisdom and virtue especially since we have watched her go through tremendous odds of adversity, she always lands on her feet. I love her!!! She has expressed the power of forgiveness and encouragement in many of her relationships. The new storyline for Paul to investigate who is her real daugther since the book Amber helped her put her memoirs on paper and publish it. I would love to real that book! If Jill after all this time is not her real daugther after the memory of the babies being switched. Now that Margie is dead who will be able to find the trail of uncertainty? Paul needs a distraction since his sister is in a mental institution and eventually be charged with attempted murder since Victor did live through this ordeal. This will keep us watching since the other storylines are eventually gonna fiss out. The Ryder story is gonna get swept under the rug for a while. What greater gift for Ms. C for Christmas. Remember last Christmas she remembered who she was and went back to the Chancellor estates only to be thrown out and Jill having her arrested on Christmas eve. Whaty a aweful way to spend that holiday in jail. She also just celebrated her 80th birthday this past summer. Lest rally for Ms. C for the best Christmas of her life. Keep watching! 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

Yes she will find her daughter and it will be Jill and then we can get rid of that crappy Mac and Billy storyline and hopefully send Mac back to Darfur or some other God forsaken place.

I agree it would be a wonderful Christmas present for Kay. Since we know its not Jill I have often wondered if it was Nicki but probaby not. At any rate its like Nina said theres an heir out there some where. I love Katherine too I can remember
seeing her in westerns as a saloon girl or farmers wife when she was younger
& of course all her years on Y&R. She is an awesome lady!!!

I would have said you were wrong, yojoromo--that the DNA test proved Jill wasn't Katherine's child. But then, on the Y&R, DNA test results seem to change back and forth, don't they?
I think we're stuck with Mac, since it seems she may be Lily's surrogate "baby mom".
Good thing babies don't take long to gestate on Y&R.

Maria, could you imagine fighting cancer at that age and even think of having a baby even though you are not carrying it? I actuall think the writers must be on drugs.

Well we know soaps are not written with reality in mind, so yea its a bit out there for Lilly to be thinking of having a baby especially after the bad day she just had.
But I was blown away by Mac's offer to carry her baby for her. How thoughtful &
selfless of her. U know Billy is not going to like that.
Now that I think about it with Y&R's history with DNA it could be Jill is Kay's daughter after all. Ur right!!

Yojo, I think you know about the energy sapping effects of chemo, and fighting cancer, better than some of us do.
I cared for someone (for 6 weeks) who was on chemo and radiation. I imagined a pale and lovely beauty like Lily. But I got an angry, terrified, perpetually nauseated, smelly, very sick woman, who couldn't deal with her children at all. I have to say that in my experience, yes. the writers are on drugs. So I guess we will have to take some, too. What would you recommend? LOL

This is where my thought is going so far (Ryder's mom) still mysterious and we really dont have any info on her yet - but just in time to make us curious about her !

i think lily just wants to get the ball rolling so to speak. afterall, once conceived and implanted, it will take 9 months before birth. i think lily is half-way thru her treatments, i estimate she has 3 more treatments (one every 3 weeks), so she'll be finished in 3 months. that will give her another 6 months to recover if everything started right away, which, of course it won't. it might also not work the first time, she only has 2 eggs. lily could possibly be recovered enough (if the chemo works) to care for a baby. this is something she really, really wants so she's highly motivated. i don't find it all that far-fetched, although i realize it will be a challenge as it would be for any young woman.

WOW Memmory that was a unexpected thought! If this is true that would change everything in the whole family, friends and associates in Genoa City. I remember seeing the picture that Jana found on the floor falling out of Ryder's jacket pocket. The woman had blonde hair and she looked a little like Nina when she was younger. Could she be Nina's mom as well. If so OMG that would be "All In The Family" Who would be the meathead? 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

Nina was a runaway, I don't remember any family stories about her, but I also have never heard about Amber's grandparents. Her mother is a piece of work but was she adopted? Do you find this valuable?

Wow this is the place for imaginations huh? There are all kinds of possibilities.
I don't remember anything about Nina's family background either.
